Popped in here whilst in a business trip. Great little find.

Called after work, on a Friday lunchtime, for a colleague's leaving drinks. It was busy, with lots of people eating. Food looked good. We all sat out front in the sun. Nice place, service was very slow, and the drinks were expensive.

This is a great, welcoming and cosy place. The food is really good tasty and hearty fare. I had the Whitby scampi and will again. A cut above any scampi I've ever had. A nice half of cask ale and a perfect lunch.

Found this lovely little pub by accident lovely food quite a while before we got it but we weren't bothered very comfortable & they didn't rush you to leave.

We were well looked after by Jason. The cake and coffee were spot on!

Stumbled upon this place on the way to Halifax. We were lucky to get a table I think. Super impressed by the food and service. Unique menu, delicious food and generous portion sizes. Will definitely recommend and return.

Great place to have a lovely lunch! Good quality food with a great atmosphere and accessible for everyone! When I was reading through the reviews before I came to the lovely wine bar I did see a comment about the owner having there Range Rover on the tow path and I did mention it to the staff and they were so kind to answer they said the only time the owners car is there is for rubbish to be put inside of there car or to unload shopping for the wine bar which is very understandable and if you are in a wheelchair or have any other disability you just have to let the owner or one of the great staff members know and the owner will happily move there car! I have come here so many time now and never had a problem!

Great place to spend a sunny afternoon, very busy but had a lovely meal and a few drinks

First visit with friends for lunch. The food was gorgeous, and you get really good size portions. There wasn't a drinks menu on the table, which would have been useful. Not too expensive, and handy parking at Aldi next door.

Been recently ordered a humus & Avocado wrap, it was 90% filled with spinach and so much humus and hardly any avocado It wasn’t wrapped. It was a tiny bit with a minuscule bit of wrap and when you tried to pick it up it all went all over myself . I could’ve made better at home. It was like eating a humus spinach wrap. I left most of it because it was too difficult to eat and all I could taste was Spinach. It was like a Child had put it together, Barely any avocado, loads of humus just slapped in a bag full of Spinach. Sweet potato chips was lovely however I wouldn’t go back again. When you can make it better at home It wasn’t worth the money. Ruddis Which is opposite is 1 million times better.

Great all day place to go for drinks, meals, afternoon tea and cake, celebrations or any combination of those. Confortable and cosy with outside seating too which sadly wasn't really usable due to the weather. We were staying nearby and would have gone there for all our meals if we'd realised you have to book unless it's mid afternoon. We'll know for the future. Highly recommended.

We arrived hungry and left well fed and contented. We shared Thai crab cakes, tempura prawns, and scampi between two of us for a tasty and satisfying meal. We still found room for scones with jam and clotted cream, all accompanied by a bottle of Italian pinot grigio. Staff were welcoming and the interior is cosy and comfortable.

Wonderful welcome, very organised, beautiful surroundings, both inside and out. Some interesting vegetarian choices.

Always a busy bar with friendly service, nice beer and a good wine selection. Didn't have food but when I have its always good quality and large portions

Lovely little bar, cute balcony area overlooking canal. Friendly staff. Had a salad for lunch, quite expensive but very large. Only one toilet and small bar so not ideal during busy hours .

Enjoyable pretty atmosphere, felt almost abroad out on the little river terrace, mid-range cost but very enjoyable and the food and wine was lovely!

Fabulous food, would highly recommend have a meal. Steak was cooked to perfection. Very warm friendly staff. Well worth a visit day or evening. Torie & her staff always provide a warm friendly atmosphere. Spoilt for choice on both day & evening menus.

Utterly delicious food, so good I never even took photos 🤦 Gentle cosy vibe, good beer, nice wine, quietly attentive staff. Definitely recommend.

Service was brilliant, at bar and when food was served. Food was amazing - very good portion sizes. (salad is the best ive had in a long time) table cleared quickly once finished eating. Overall a great lunch and will definitely go back

Wow, that really was a poor 1st experience. A shambles on arrival for a pre booked table, expect to wait by the busy bar to get your seat. When sat, expect 10 mins before you get a menu, then timetable 45 mins for your food. I wanted steak, but saw a guy trying to chew his way through one when we entered, so went for the safe option of fish and chips (and pork belly). Chips were hard inside, all 7 of them. The fish had 13 bones in, though was very well cooked. The peas were minted peas, which I found odd for fish and chips. The pork belly was poorly cooked, seemed to be pan fried rather than roasted and rather chewy, the black pudding was good though. £44.00 2 meals, a pint and a g and t. A couple of very drunk gents f'ing and c'ing by the bar as we left was the last memory for us. Sadly this failed to hit the mark.

Busy lunchtime and no tables left inside. Fortunately a day you could sit on the narrow outside deck over the river. An interesting cafe/bar hybrid place. Largely bread-based menu of baguettes, sandwiches, wraps, etc. Decent pastrami and mozzarella wrap plus a pint of Platinum Blonde.

Had lunch on a Friday at 1ish with 4 of us. Can't praise it enough for the food (lively & tasty), service (brilliant so attentive & helpful) & atmosphere (an excellent vibe). Was very impressed, thank you very much we will back.

This is a very busy little place - and no wonder! The food was wonderful! I ordered a simple ham and mustard sandwich and a side order of Cajun dirty fries. I couldn't eat it all, despite its deliciousness. The portions were very generous. My fussy sister ordered the chicken, goats cheese and pesto on ciabatta, and loved it! (She's looking for an excuse to go back to Slaithwaite so she can visit the Little Bridge again!)

The Little Bridge Bistro and Wine Bar is actually in Slaithwaite, near Huddersfield. We were in the area and wanted a nice lunch so decided to try here. Certainly not disappointed! As we had our dog with us we sat outside at the sheltered tables. I had a prawn salad which was delicious, lots of tasty prawns, lasted vegetables, olives no a very varied salad with a lovely dressing. My husband had a Brie and ham panini, again with a lovely salad plus a plate of dirty fries which I did pinch of few as they looked so tasty! Service was quick an the staff were very friendly and helpful. Certainly recommended and would return if in the area again.

We enjoyed our unexpected al fresco lunch today. A really good selections of sandwiches, ciabattas, panini's etc. Generous portions, tasty fillings and well-priced. Service is fast and friendly. Nice choice of indoor and outdoor seating.

a friends birthday lunch was ruined but a rude young staff member(brunette) who keep hurrying up when we'd only eaten half of our food! on top of that the food was mediocre at best.

This wine bar is always so cosy in winter and in summer has nice outside seating. We had lunch here last week and it was absolutely gorgeous. The staff are so friendly and helpful. There is a good menu and they are very happy to cater for gluten free, vegetarian etc. It is always busy in this bar which is a good sign. It's one of our favourites places to eat and drink.

I'm in a wheelchair and was looking for a bite to eat after going along the tow path, but I couldn't get past the owner's range rover that was parked all the way across the path. I also couldn't access the town because of the obstruction.

Just come in here,not particularly busy,bought 2 drinks,sat down,rounded on by local pensioner's club about having our pug dog with us.Turns out it is not a dog friendly pub,and the bar staff didn't spot us with the dog at the bar.Pity as we would have left before buying their expensive drinks. Now sat outside with our 10 quid round.Hopefully it doesn't rain again Pub across the road happy to have dogs,and beer much cheaper as well. We won't be returning here

Excellent food and a lovely atmosphere particularly sat outside in the sun though there are de luxe umbrellas for the shade.Good range of continental and Yorkshire beers severed by friendly staff.

The Little Bridge is a little gem. Such a lovely, welcoming and cosy place to eat lunch. The food is consistently of a high standard and very reasonably priced. It's a tastefully decorated, comfortable and atmospheric place to eat, with a good vibe, next to the River Colne. Staff are welcoming and service is always good. We keep going back, as it's never disappointed.

We stopped for lunch today and we left it a bit late, so we were quite peckish. We ordered sandwiches (I ordered a chicken & sundried tomato and my husband had brie & cranberry) and an order of chips between us. The food came out promptly and it was a decent sized portion with a side salad. They provided salad dressing (which was wonderful). We would definitely go back there and would highly recommend. The service was prompt and friendly, as well.

Pub food. And delicious. Beer on tap and that was the busy part. A bit slow but worth the wait.

Nice place but don't buy fish and chips from round the corner because you can't eat them stood outside the pub near the canal .
