Utterly delicious food, so good I never even took photos 🤦 Gentle cosy vibe, good beer, nice wine, quietly attentive staff. Definitely recommend.

Service was brilliant, at bar and when food was served. Food was amazing - very good portion sizes. (salad is the best ive had in a long time) table cleared quickly once finished eating. Overall a great lunch and will definitely go back

Wow, that really was a poor 1st experience. A shambles on arrival for a pre booked table, expect to wait by the busy bar to get your seat. When sat, expect 10 mins before you get a menu, then timetable 45 mins for your food. I wanted steak, but saw a guy trying to chew his way through one when we entered, so went for the safe option of fish and chips (and pork belly). Chips were hard inside, all 7 of them. The fish had 13 bones in, though was very well cooked. The peas were minted peas, which I found odd for fish and chips. The pork belly was poorly cooked, seemed to be pan fried rather than roasted and rather chewy, the black pudding was good though. £44.00 2 meals, a pint and a g and t. A couple of very drunk gents f'ing and c'ing by the bar as we left was the last memory for us. Sadly this failed to hit the mark.

Busy lunchtime and no tables left inside. Fortunately a day you could sit on the narrow outside deck over the river. An interesting cafe/bar hybrid place. Largely bread-based menu of baguettes, sandwiches, wraps, etc. Decent pastrami and mozzarella wrap plus a pint of Platinum Blonde.

Had lunch on a Friday at 1ish with 4 of us. Can't praise it enough for the food (lively & tasty), service (brilliant so attentive & helpful) & atmosphere (an excellent vibe). Was very impressed, thank you very much we will back.

This is a very busy little place - and no wonder! The food was wonderful! I ordered a simple ham and mustard sandwich and a side order of Cajun dirty fries. I couldn't eat it all, despite its deliciousness. The portions were very generous. My fussy sister ordered the chicken, goats cheese and pesto on ciabatta, and loved it! (She's looking for an excuse to go back to Slaithwaite so she can visit the Little Bridge again!)

The Little Bridge Bistro and Wine Bar is actually in Slaithwaite, near Huddersfield. We were in the area and wanted a nice lunch so decided to try here. Certainly not disappointed! As we had our dog with us we sat outside at the sheltered tables. I had a prawn salad which was delicious, lots of tasty prawns, lasted vegetables, olives no a very varied salad with a lovely dressing. My husband had a Brie and ham panini, again with a lovely salad plus a plate of dirty fries which I did pinch of few as they looked so tasty! Service was quick an the staff were very friendly and helpful. Certainly recommended and would return if in the area again.

We enjoyed our unexpected al fresco lunch today. A really good selections of sandwiches, ciabattas, panini's etc. Generous portions, tasty fillings and well-priced. Service is fast and friendly. Nice choice of indoor and outdoor seating.

a friends birthday lunch was ruined but a rude young staff member(brunette) who keep hurrying up when we'd only eaten half of our food! on top of that the food was mediocre at best.

This wine bar is always so cosy in winter and in summer has nice outside seating. We had lunch here last week and it was absolutely gorgeous. The staff are so friendly and helpful. There is a good menu and they are very happy to cater for gluten free, vegetarian etc. It is always busy in this bar which is a good sign. It's one of our favourites places to eat and drink.

Nice friendly little place. Food is really good ,they don't serve food Friday Saturday nights. Very popular in summer lots of room to sit out. Popular during the day for lunches.

I'm in a wheelchair and was looking for a bite to eat after going along the tow path, but I couldn't get past the owner's range rover that was parked all the way across the path. I also couldn't access the town because of the obstruction.

Just come in here,not particularly busy,bought 2 drinks,sat down,rounded on by local pensioner's club about having our pug dog with us.Turns out it is not a dog friendly pub,and the bar staff didn't spot us with the dog at the bar.Pity as we would have left before buying their expensive drinks. Now sat outside with our 10 quid round.Hopefully it doesn't rain again Pub across the road happy to have dogs,and beer much cheaper as well. We won't be returning here

The Little Bridge is a little gem. Such a lovely, welcoming and cosy place to eat lunch. The food is consistently of a high standard and very reasonably priced. It's a tastefully decorated, comfortable and atmospheric place to eat, with a good vibe, next to the River Colne. Staff are welcoming and service is always good. We keep going back, as it's never disappointed.

We stopped for lunch today and we left it a bit late, so we were quite peckish. We ordered sandwiches (I ordered a chicken & sundried tomato and my husband had brie & cranberry) and an order of chips between us. The food came out promptly and it was a decent sized portion with a side salad. They provided salad dressing (which was wonderful). We would definitely go back there and would highly recommend. The service was prompt and friendly, as well.

Pub food. And delicious. Beer on tap and that was the busy part. A bit slow but worth the wait.

Our table was cleared by bar staff on instruction of the portly landlady of four paid for drinks, two partially drunk and two full drinks only just purchased on the call of last orders. When I raised issue about it I was made to feel that I was in the wrong and was not compensated for or apologised to. Avoid or pay close attention to your drinks especially around last orders!

Called in Easter Tuesday was told there would be a wait for food, we were on no rush so said it was fine expected half hour or so wait but no.... 1 hr 50 mins later still waiting. Food was delicious when it did arrive but will think twice before going back.

Excellent food in very pleasant surroundings. The staff were lovely and the service efficient. It was a shame that we had to wait 45 minutes for our meals without being made aware of the waiting time when the order was placed. But the high standard of the meal when it arrived more than made up for that.

We went with high expectations, we waited two hours for food. I could have forgiven that if the food was worth it but to be honest the food was disappointing, overpriced and the place really needs to up its game.

The Little Bridge makes for a far better lunchtime venue than in the evening. The food & wine are lovely and the team are friendly, with a nice relaxed atmosphere, but for some reason, it feels an odd place in the evening as I don't think it quite knows what it wants to be. There are most definitely some unusual characters in there, and if you're not known to the regulars, there feels a little bit of an edge. If you're in your 20s and 30s I'm not sure it's the place for you, then again, Slaithwaite's not for you.

Its a wonderful little cosy place, nice warm with an outside iron balcony where people can sitt and eat and the lovely sound of the river and the nature bland all together. The food was lovely and not expencive. I really recommend it.

We'd tried two cafes and there were queues. Fortunately there was a table free at the Little Bridge Cafe. We found friendly staff, good value and tasty food, good service and will come again when we're in the area.
