The best restaurants in Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

This is a fabulous pub,indeed,to me,the best in the Colne Valley by a country mile. Gary,the Landlord and his friendly/very capable staff are brilliant and the Real Ales on offer (several rotating) are always TOP NOTCH. I chose this as the venue for my Retirement-do and I'm sure it was a very good decision. Beer gardens are a massive plus in Summer,particularly the one tucked away round the back and if you're "into" Craft Beer ,up the hill 20 yards on the right is part of the same establishment.

Even though the bar staff hadn't a clue where the beers were brewed they were all well kept and and sparkingly fresh. Nice atmosphere for a short visit

This Sandwich shop is a must go to, the staff are friendly and the food is beautiful i would definitely recommend!

Went today as I had won a fish and chip meal for 3 at a fundraiser. Was lucky to win it as only 3 in my family and was looking forward too it. Went with our tickets got our food and left. Staff absolutely fab. Got home and set it all out. Can honestly say best fish and chips we’ve had in a long time. Will be going again now

Best jackets about friendly staff and reasonably priced pizzas are really good to and the garlic herb dip is a nice touch

The best butties in Milnsbridge, been going for my Friday butty now for the past 2 years. Food is delicious, and the bread buns are the softest I have ever eaten..

My family and I have just moved into the area andenjoyed our first Chinese takeaway from here last night. We rang to order in advance the collected 15mins later. It was hot, fresh and tasty with good portion sizes. Will return 😊

Ideal place for enjoying various social time, ideal for sports events on tv , along with live music on selected weekends

Have recently moved in nearby and pop in for a sandwich for lunch reasonably often. Haven't sat in all that often, but always lovely service, very friendly. The sandwiches are well filled, not short changed, although sometimes can have a bit too much salad cream and get a bit messy!

Spot on good service and very polite staff .food was warm and very tasty as always.very clean and welcoming.come for a bus ride out always go to this shop.

We use rainbow house a lot the food is good and the staff and drivers too i would recommend the rainbow house if you are looking for some good food

I go here every week for southern fried chicken, it's always fresh, good sized pieces and moist. I've tried other takeaways, but for chicken this is my favourite.
