Always a pleasure visiting here. Great range of soups and reasonably priced coffee £2 or pot of tea £1.60 (Dec '18). The staff are friendly and there's a outdoor seating area which in summer is a real sun trap.

Ordered special taco tonight and what came wasn't a taco it was 2 slices of bread shocking I phoned up to ask why and he just said its Sunday they should of rang me and said no tacos who the hell wants bread I cud of made a sarni at home

I’ve visited My Peshawar Batley 4 times now, because it’s closer than the Bradford branch. While I do enjoy the food, I felt it was worth sharing my experience in the hope of some improvements and to help set expectations for others Parking next to Tesco means there’s never an issue finding a space. There’s plenty of seating, and we’ve only had to wait once for a table. Food itself is great, though I’ve noticed differences compared to the Bradford branch. The flavors are generally on point, but consistency could be improved. This is where things could be better. We felt rushed to order, with multiple waiters asking within minutes of being seated. Once we did order, the food arrived at different times, making it chaotic Mixed grills arrived, but no naan or salad. Requested sauces but were forgotten about. Some guests finished their meals before others even started, particularly those who ordered Karahi. Tea, we were told it takes too long to make. The Kabuli Pilau has never been available on any of my visits, which is disappointing Toilets, which were flooded with water and could definitely do with better maintenance. While the food is good, service and organisation need improvement

A superb station buffet run by lovely, friendly folk, serving a range of snacks, drinks, and incredibly tasty, and freshly prepared, breakfast sandwiches. A wonderful start to your day!

Fantastic new addition to the food scene in Holmfirth. Great atmosphere, good choice of drinks and food and fantastic service. Barnsley chop, Ribs and Lamb rumps were to die for. Excellent midweek trip. Our first visit but will not be the last.

the owners here are fabulous .... the nicest people... our experience was nothing short of amazing... have attended various events and general casual drinking ... the biggest event was a wedding, OUR wedding and honestly if you are looking for a venue that can offer it all then this is the one... if your not sure take a leap because you wont be disappointed.. we cant thank them enough now and always!

I've been going here for decades. It's absolutely top class.

Firstly forgot part of my order and didn’t realise until got home from picking it up. Had to drive all way back to be given some free chips only. Would of forgiven this if the food wasn’t so tasteless, won’t ever be getting food from here again didn’t even finish the meal very disappointed

We came using a voucher we had from our wedding three courses including wine the service was quick and friendly starters were nice garlic mushrooms and Stilton and broccoli soup and we both opted for beef for main with a lovely red wine gravy we asked for a breather for pudding and received a nice selection of cheese and biscuits and also New York cheesecake …the restaurant area is intimate and I would certainly try either an evening meal which would have cost £35 pp three courses which I think is good value or Sunday lunch

Visited this afternoon with a client and a colleague. I didn’t get the chaps name who was working but he was fantastic. Saw we were having a meeting, offered to bring drinks to the table and then sorted food order. Really attentive and the food was fantastic. Never been to Huddersfield BD before and was not able to have a beer as with work however would certainly return and look forward to having some of the great beer, cheers

Had a delicious breakfast at the cafe yesterday, first time I've visited. I had poached eggs on toast with mushrooms and decaf tea and my partner had a sausage sandwich. Both were delicious! Proper mug for the brew, fresh mushrooms on, plenty of toast and tasty eggs on mine. Cafe seating area is small but made good use of the space available fitting in plenty of seating options. Everything was delicious, one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while and will definitely be back. Thank you

This is no more. Closed some time ago Looks like was going to open as a Caribbean cafe but no work on it for some time

Good food and friendly helpful service. Local produce used in all meals. Warm and cosy on a cold winter's day.
