Brewdog Huddersfield in Kirklees

Visited this afternoon with a client and a colleague. I didn’t get the chaps name who was working but he was fantastic. Saw we were having a meeting, offered to bring drinks to the table and then sorted food order. Really attentive and the food was fantastic. Never been to Huddersfield BD before and was not able to have a beer as with work however would certainly return and look forward to having some of the great beer, cheers

I was invited to a beer School by a good friend on this particular Sunday afternoon, which was nice. We were on time however our “teacher” was running slightly behind so we sat down with a complimentary drink as an apology from the staff. After a short time Lewis introduced himself and we headed off to a booth to begin. Cut a long story short the experience was both informative, good humoured and bloody tasty! We learnt a lot about marrying cheeses with the beers, invaluable knowledge in my opinion. Lewis was very knowledgable and a genial host, Brewdog Huddersfield have a sound lad there….thank you so much. I would heartily recommend a Beer School afternoon to anyone who likes beer and cheese and, let’s face it, who doesn’t?

Up in Huddersfield for a few nights and decided to grab a few pints. Stumbled across a brewdog bar and found it amazing. Lovely staff! So friendly, really helpful with ordering some unusual drinks that I wasn't familiar with but ended up loving all of them. Lovely bar, super friendly staff delicious pints and sexy vibe!!

Friendly staff, great beer, made regulars out of us. Lovely food for vegans and meat eaters and perfect accompaniment with the beer. The shuffleboard is just the cherry on top. Jesus loves Brewdog Hudds, you should too.

I had a lovely experience at Brewdog huddersfield! The staff are so helpful and approachable, Lewis particularly allowed me to try numerous beers before I found something that suited my taste! Would highly recommend!

The bar was clean and tidy. Lewis and Lydia were attentive, polite and knowledgeable in helping me choosea beer suited to my tastes. Me and my friends had a delightful meal from the kitchen which was hastily prepared. We also liked the various games like Shuffleboard and the retro games. We will happily come back again.

Last evening with an old friend for a few drinks and this venue was simply a wonderful place to visit, Tom and Lydia were great bar tenders and Tom the manager was a perfect character for this position with his bubbly personality just like a fine glass of IPA. I would recommend this place for friends and a party. I will visit again next time. Thanks Lydia and Tom for a wonderful evening and good luck to Lydia in her future studies.

Absolutely amazing staff, service and atmosphere. Also fantastic music being played. Highly recommend to anyone who likes great beer, great food and awesome times.

Great food, lovely pints and even friendlier staff. Facilities are clean and tidy, loads of places to sit also.

I love this place. I am well catered for as a vegan (which isn’t the case in most places!). The food is delicious and there is always a warm welcome from staff. My dogs are the stars of the show here and they are always made very comfortable. My experience definitely doesn’t match the few disgruntled reviews on here.

Great staff and tasty food. Always feel welcome with my dogs. Never had any issue getting a table, and there are plenty of games to play.

I have to echo the review below. We were enticed in by their social media ad giving 25% off food for HTFC season ticket holders. Only to discover only three burgers from the whole menu are available die to an upcoming menu change. Also no sauces any more (one of the best things about Reds). Their social media also advertised 'Wings Wednesday' and how you should book for this week. Why advertise that when you knew full well it wasn't available?? Also had to ask for cutlery and then got a smaller discount applied than the advert. Too embarrassed to correct it. Shoddy all round.

Booked for a family meal for my Husband's birthday. We arrived and were asked for our drinks order before we went to our table. We ordered drinks and were ONLY THEN told that most items weren't available on the food menu (no items from the bbq section, no salads, no wings, so basically 3/4 burgers and chips). Surely it would be obvious that we booked planning to eat, since we booked a table and weren't going to be planning a boozy night out with 2 children in tow. Felt very much that we were prompted to order drinks before they told us that there were practically very few food options! We paid for drinks and left to go elsewhere, but many places were already booked up by 5:30pm, so it absolutely spoiled my husband's birthday meal and the children were left hungry until we could find another restaurant with availability at no notice. Very disappointing as we were only one of 3 tables booked so we felt it wouldn't have been difficult for the staff to book to tell us if we planned to come and eat that the menu was very limited.

It’s a fantastic looking venue, wide selection of drinks and a tie in with my favourite restaurant, Reds True Barbecue. Should be the perfect evening. Sunday night saw retro gaming and some shuffleboard action along with our drinks. And attentive staff. We tried ordering drinks from the app, alas the app was too advanced and items available on the app were not available in reality. We ordered food, most of which was fine. But the chicken wings were appalling. They had the sound and texture of wood when eaten. Not a scrap of moisture or flavour. I’ve had these at Reds Call Lane restaurant but these were unrecognisable. Like they’d been cooked, left for a month and then cooked again. It’s the second time I’ve eaten here and it’s the second time I’ve left feeling disappointed. I’m currently undecided if I’ll ever try for a third time.

Great selection of beers and also reasonable bar food too. Very spacious and perfect for some decent drinks if you’re staying nearby!
