Excellent food quality and service. We ordered two small plates and a side each. This was plenty of food. Alongside the halloumi fries to start! Which have to be tried!

I have been to Home many times but probably not again after treating my sisters for dinner tonight. The place was cold and sisters had to keep coats on. One of them ordered coffee to warm up but that was also cold. More than half of the food we ordered was, yes you've guessed it cold. Onion rings greasy. My sister only took one mouthful of cheese cake and wasn't impressed. The person who looked to be in charge knew that I wasn't happy with the overall experience but didn't really seem to be that bothered. He was happy to take full payment. We thought it must be new owners but he told me they had been there four years. We will not be returning.

Amazing experience, as usual. Service from Georgia was outstanding. Some great dishes on the new menu. So lucky to have this place so close.

First time customer, and I will definitely be returning.

Unfortunately it was not a great experience and based on this we would not return. The king prawns initially served were far too over cooked and very rubbery. Whilst we got a replacement dish which was much appreciated, this was not great. They just tasted like recently defrosted prawns chucked in some bland sauce placed on a hot plate. The Jerk chicken skewers lacked the jerk seasoning completely. They tasted like unseasoned chicken off the grill. The belly pork was something we really looked forward to having but this was a disapointment. I can only describe the majority of this dish as chewy charcoal dressed partially in sauce (Nice sauce) i got the impression it was deep fried with little care taken. It was not all bad though, the Gnocchi special was amazing and the sauce was to die for. The chicken gyoza was nice also. First time trying the new Hawkstone lager and that was well worth having! Overall i felt the meal lacked love and attentive care from the kitchen with very little admiration to what was served.

Really great food, inventive dishes that you don't really find anywhere else, big portions for tapas too. Friendly and very attentive staff, nice relaxing atmosphere, our food came out really quickly after ordering and it was a packed out Saturday. Really recommend this place across the board.

We visited last night for the first time and will definitely all be back! The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the restaurant had a great feel to it, with every table full. The menu has plenty of choice and in fact we were struggling to choose as we really wanted to try so many dishes. The food was piping hot and every dish was delicious. We are so happy to have found Home on Lindley!

We chose the chefs selection which was so good. The combination of flavours and presentation for each dish was fantastic. The choice of cocktails was a bit more creative than usual and service was great! Highly recommend

Called in for lunch with friends. We had a selection of dish's. every one was really tasty. The service was good too.

Just had a quick bite and food was amazing. Very tastey, hot and quite quick. Tad expensive but you do het what you pay for, adequate portions well presented and again very tastey. If ya hungry fill ya face at mcdees, but here a touch of class and good food. Well done hope to visit again soon.

I’ve been here a few times as I live locally. Fantastic spot. Most recently dined on a Friday night with my girlfriend. Service was very good considering a very busy atmosphere. The food is fantastic, a wide variety including vegetarian and GF. I am a big fan of the small plate sizes and feel that 5/6 is perfect for 2 people. You also don’t feel like you’re missing out as you can try bits of everything. Personal favourite is always the pork belly here, definitely recommend! Not my first time here and definitely not the last. Thanks

Lovely staff, food and choice of drinks.

Not that impressed with the food or the attitude/friendliness of some of the staff. Generally service was good, though the food is over-priced for what you get and I would describe it as average, at best.

We visited Home with family that were staying with us from down south. Once again a superb meal. The menu and choices were great, the food was piping hot, the service was great and my brother is so happy he was finally able to try Hawkstone lager. Our favourite restaurant retains its title at Number 1 position. Thanks again to all the team.

We must have gone on a bad day, the reviews read so well, we turned up, the girl serving was really welcoming, we were asked for drinks, our first selection wasn’t available but the bottle we got was delicious. After having menus we ordered, 3 lunchtime offers and a steak, plus breads and sides. The bread arrived and had an aroma of stale bread, it wasn’t a good start, then thinking small plates/tapas the whole meal arrived, 7 dishes? My son ordered steak, it was slightly undercooked for him, our fault but he couldn’t eat it, we asked for M/R one side was cooked the other hadn’t seen the grill? It was also clap cold? We sent it back asking if they could just throw it back on the grill, it came back out looking exactly the same as we sent it back to the kitchen but colder? Don’t know how but obviously just put in the microwave, another dish we had was the chicken skewers, once I’d tasted i could smell something not right? I asked the other people in the party and they all agreed it didn’t smell good, I got a metallic taste on my tongue which confirmed it was off!! The onion rings were full of dirty oil, the food had no seasoning it just went on, we spoke to the young girl who apologised and left us, 10 minutes later we were given dessert menus? No offer of anything not that we want it as we want good food but you would have thought a gesture as most of the food we were served went back to the kitchen. The waitress did come back telling us all the food was fresh that morning, now for anyone in this industry knows and i do to prep that menu fresh that day would take a couple of days, this was last weeks food served on a Tuesday to get rid!!! Anyway we then got asked if we would like dessert, we were gobsmacked? Why would we order dessert after that shambles, after15 minutes of being left alone we then asked for the bill to be then presented with a £120 bill, It didn’t go down well and I told them so, absolutely disgusting that nothing was done , we were told by the young girl she couldn’t do anything as the owners were upstairs? Maybe the owners should have been down stairs looking after customers and overseeing a chef that can’t cook? £120 for a few bowls of fries and apology, absolutely disgusting.

We had a lunch time meal. All dishes tasted great and arrived hot. Friendly staff & good service. Value for money, will certainly visit again.

So I went in on Friday and was asked what can I help you with. I asked for a certain cider which they had but I wanted to take it home unopened and I was told that I wasn’t allowed to drink it off the premises which is apparently in their policy. I was very unhappy that my partner couldn’t enjoy a certain cider at home

First time coming to this fabulous place! It’s won’t be the last! The food was amazing, really nicely done and the flavours were so good! We had 3 dishes each and one dish to share between 2 of us, this was more than enough and we have good appetites. The portion sizes are really good for the price, we didn’t think it was too expensive. They have a nice selection of wine also decently priced. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere. Definitely 5 stars from us! Thank you

Had an amazing time at the mamma mia bottomless brunch, friendly staff who joined in the dancing and mayhem lovely food and prosecco, you must go to this event but get your tickets early as it sells out pretty fast....

Been to home a few times and the food and service are always excellent. Me and my partner shared 6 x dishes and they were all tasty, piping hot and a decent portion. Would highly recommend.

Booked a table for 11 people for this Saturday. Rang up today because I couldn’t remember exactly what time I’d booked it for. They’ve told me my table has been cancelled and now they can’t fit me in because I didn’t pay the pre payment. I advised I wasn’t aware there was one, turns out the person who I booked with has taken my email address down wrong so I didn’t receive an email for pre-payment. Not impressed.

I have been a number of times and upstairs can be very noisy. The food is really gorgeous and not small for tapas. We were downstairs this time and it was lovely. Relaxing and excellent service.

Visited last night . Very average food . Awful service . The waitress’ were miserable and didn’t smile at us once. One literally came over and said ‘ are u done with that’ in a very rude manor as if we were being rushed out the venue. Won’t be rushing to return.

We liked the decor, the food was mostly good and the waitress was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we were the only people in the place , so no atmosphere. One or two of the dishes were lacking in flavour - beef tenderloin and kimchi gyozas, but others were very tasty - beetroot spring rolls and cauliflower wings. Overall we had a pleasant lunch.

Came for a meal midweek. The positives was the service was efficient and fairly friendly. The restaurant is lovely with nice decor. Everything was spotlessly clean. The negatives were it felt very poor value for money. Two of us had the chefs choice menu for £25 per head. Starters were a small plate of shop bought flat bread (could see into the kitchen and the packet they were taken out of) with a small dish of oil and a tiny pot of hummus. Then we had four ‘main’ dishes and chips. The tuna dish was inedible as the fish was full of sinew and smelt really fishy which indicated it was not fresh. We did tell the server and she said she would let the kitchen know but there was no offer of a replacement dish so that meant we had 3 dishes. Everything had spice in it so all tasted the same. No pudding was included. This restaurant had come highly recommended so was disappointed overall. I definitely won’t be returning and would not recommend.

Great food and service for a full house on a Friday night. We went for the chef's recommendation rather than second guess what and how much to order. For £25 per person, there was plenty of food and extremely tasty. Service was prompt and polite considering how busy it was. We had been recommended this place for a while and I wish we had gone earlier. We'll be back soon.

Great food and service, waiting staff were knowledgeable on food they were serving. Portions were a decent size for Tapas, and reasonably priced. The only thing I would question and it is nothing to do with the actual place, is that we tried to book for later in the evening online but said not available, however as we left there were still plenty of free tables.

Food was amazing with a lovely atmosphere! All our servers were amazing and very helpful. When wondering what drink to Lewis on the bar was so amazing and wonderful and chose the perfect drink for us, even though it was very busy! helped us out so much!! 10/10 would recommend!

We have been to Home lots of times and always really loved it, however this time it was extremely disappointing. We chose to order the new Chefs Special deal, that was £25pp. It was advertised as follows "Let our chef send all their favourite dishes to your table by choosing ‘Chefs choice Menu’. This will include our weekly specials. Please ask your server for more information.£25 PER PERSON'. We both decided to do this and were sent flatbread and hummus, olives, pork belly, katsu cauliflower, fish pakoras and a portion of chips (bare in mind this is tapas, so not huge portions). We asked the waitress if this was all we got, as it didn't seem enough for the money. She checked with the chef and they said it was. I looked at the menu and calculated the price of all the dishes individually and it was only £39, so £11 less than what we would be paying! We then spoke to the waitress again and she said the kitchen would send something else, so I chose the beef birria tacos to add to our meal for free. These came out extremely burnt and inedible. We spoke to the waitress again (who was amazing btw!) and she said she would speak to the manager. When she brought the bill, she had individually priced the dishes, not including the tacos, for us to pay. I think it is very bad that they are advertising the chefs special as more than what it is worth! We will unfortunately not be returning after this.

Overall we had a great time with friends. Most of the food was very good, some was only average. The building has been very tastefully renovated. Great to see a business thriving with lots of tables filled but as they are fairly close together it makes it very loud. As they were very busy it took a little while to get served drinks. But certainly a nice place to go.

Such a shame! Food was ok. Staff was one upstairs and one down for the whole restaurant. Had to go down to get our own drinks as we weren’t asked for top ups. Pudding was terrible and refused to pay for it. Then we were handed the bill and asked to make our way downstairs to pay. The young server didn’t ask if all was ok, there was very little to no communication from staff. All the chefs took their last covers of mains and it was clear they were shutting down the kitchen which made it feel like we needed to leave. A very impersonal experience. Such a shame. Not much care given from owner when raised on the night. We’ve tried a few times but unfortunately that’s the last.

Lovely meal for celebrating, this is our second time being at Home on Lindley and I can’t recommend enough! Personally would love some more meat options, but all the food we had was amazing, highly recommend!

Tremendous food. Bit noisy though

Absolutely loved dining here. There were 4 of us and we all ordered 3 dishes, all arrived together which was fine. All got eaten too! The food was well presented, tasted delicious and good portion sizes....although a couple of family members did manage a dessert too! Would definitely recommend, and we will be returning again either as a couple or with friends.

Bottomless Brunch at our local tapas spot sounded too good to pass up as they were serving Southern Soul Food inspired small plates alongside a Motown and Soul playlist. You got 2 brunch dishes each from a choice of 8 and then unlimited cocktails, house wine or beer for 2 hours. The staff were very attentive and constantly going round everyone to make sure everyone was topped up with drinks. The soundtrack was amazing, love a bit of Motown and Soul music. The food was really filling and decent portion sizes for a brunch offering. We chose 4 different plates so we could sample as much of the menu as possible Louisana Chicken Gumbo- This was a really flavourful hearty slightly spicy broth packed with chicken, peppers and okra. We both agreed this was our dish of the day Sloppy Joe Sliders- These were packed with a mix of ground beef, cheese and onion in a slightly sweet tomato sauce- imagine a Bolognase in a bun. They were so tasty and moreish Southern Baked Mac and Cheese- We loved this- super cheesy and rich with a lovely hint of smokiness running through the sauce Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders, Blue Cheese Sauce- The chicken was juicy and coated in a really crispy coating. The spice was a little subtle for Nashville Hot but the heat was still there. The blue cheese sauce was delicious and really strong in flavour We had Mojito and Rum Punch first but then stuck to Mimosas after this as they were perfectly made- they didnt scrimp on the fizz and were nicely presented. We really enjoyed this brunch and look forward to the next theme that they come up with

Lovely and attentive staff, wonderful vibrant atmosphere, food hit or miss. My table was generally unhappy with the quality of the food we ordered and the quantity of food we got for the price. From the inedible steak, to getting just 4 baby squid for £8 and the raw potatoes as well as inconsistent portion sizes. I could go on with the issues but the point is that the food leaves some to be desired, which is particularly disappointing considering last month I had a fantastic meal there. I will point out we were offered a replacement meal when we mentioned the steak (at no additional charge) and did receive a discount due to the issues with the food. As general advice to people, when ordering your meal ask about the portion sizes.

Chose Home because it's local to us and enticed by the offer of 3 for 2 tapas. We ordered 6 and every dish had a fault with it, either overcooked, bland, too small etc. The only saving grace was the Cab Sav wine which was lovely. Apparently what we ordered hadn't satisfied the T&Cs of the 3 for 2, so we had a very expensive, poor meal. Would not return.

The atmosphere is very "homely" but still has a sense of occasion particularly upstairs. The food was amazing. Two or three dishes per person was plenty. The staff were very friendly and efficient too. Can't wait to come again so I can try all the other things on the menu!

We loved the food. Found the huge interior mirrors a bit weird! However it’s a must try and I would go back to try the rest of the menu. The staff were nice, could have been a bit more friendly and on it but can’t fault the food at all. We had five dishes between us not 6. And a dessert. I think that the meatballs were the best!

Food was good, service was very poor. Rushed and rushed us to take an order. When we were presented with the sweet menu we were left for a while and then told that we couldn't order because we had to give up our table in 20 minutes. This spoiled our meal out.

Went for a meal with friends and had a great evening. The service was exceedingly attentive without being too much, servers appeared miraculously when you needed something and were clearly well briefed. The food was delicious and there was a good choice in each section, the cauliflower with a blue cheese sauce option was particularly good! We will definitely be back! Thank you for making a nice evening out into a a really special evening out.

Food was top drawer, small portions but cheap enough to order multiple servings, platters were ace and halumi burgers were fabulous, service was good but staff have zero bants and not much personality, maybe thats the youth of today or management orders to be effient but bland.Our waiter kept banging his head on the lights which was about as good as the banter got. We came here on Sunday with a group oj friends and I was very impressed! Amazing service. The food was spectacular and great portions. Beautiful restaurant and lovely staff. Really great value. I will defiantly be coming back!! I could not recommend enough!!

We ordered five tapas dishes to share . Four were really nice , but the pork belly was maybe overdone a bit , which made it a bit tough . I'm not one to complain on the day , so I left it at that . Service was very friendly , but a bit thin on the ground , not their fault as it seems similar everywhere you go these days . Both of our drinks were excellent , my wife had a white wine , and I had a pint of IPA . I can't really comment on the atmosphere , as it was very quiet whilst we were there , yet another sign of the times.. Would probably go again , and maybe not order the belly pork this time..

We were greeted by a very welcoming young lady who quickly showed us to a table of our choice. Our meal was both nicely cooked and presented. Haloumi Fries, Hasselback potatoes for our starters - both decent size portions for starters. Followed by Tuna and Rump Steak for mains - two portions of chips, although one would have been sufficient to share. Great range of gluten free options to choose from.

Very disappointing. Untrained uncaring staff who did the bare minimum. Noisy pub like atmosphere. Asked staff 3 times to turn down thumpy music to no effect. Had paid £40 deposit for 8 people to reserve table. Place was nearly empty on a Saturday night. They "forgot"to take the £40 of the bill until challenged. Won't be back. They need to invest in training and basics if they are to stay open. Food ok but average.

Wow what a find this little gem was! Massive portions of really tasty flavoursome food served by very attentive staff . We had 3 dishes each and several bottles of the very lovely house white , all in all a very lovely evening and we will be back . The pork belly was a taste sensation !!!

Visited as a group of couples, each ordering 3 dishes alongside nibbles as starters. I don’t have a single complaint about any of the food, the portions were pretty big for tapas and full of flavour and in terms of the food/quality etc I’d happily return. Unfortunately, felt the staff let it down and dampened the experience. There was one young man with blond hair who was very friendly and interactive when bringing drinks but other than that there was very little personality in the staff, no consideration for the basics in terms of “would you like a drink” “is everything ok for you” etc etc When we did order a round of drinks as our food was arriving, this took quite some time that most of us were half way through our food and sat without a drink to help wash it down and had to chase up the order as thought it had been forgotten. It may seem like nit picking but for myself, your staff and how they present and interact are a reflection of your restaurant and unfortunately, on this evening, they really let down an otherwise really lovely restaurant and enjoyable evening.
