Oscars restaurant in Kirklees

We had the 2 course Sunday special and it was amazing value for money and very tasty. We selected a starter and a main each for £12.95, the protions were massive and we all struggled to finish our mains.

Lovely evening meal as part of our travelzoo stay. My husband says they were one of the best fish and chips he has had.

Preocupado tras algunas críticas, pero supongo que la gente no siempre ser feliz y sólo quejarse. Sin embargo, alabar, donde es debido. Fuimos a una cena con baile fiesta de Navidad. A pesar de estar retrasado por un grupo grande que llegamos muy tarde tuvimos una noche fantástica. Es genial que no abarrotada como se puede acceder a la barra, vino a un precio razonable. La comida fresca y sabrosa. Dj fue muy agradable y mi petición. Sensación de izquierda muy feliz y alegre. Bonito para que toque personal en vez de hoteles corporativos donde sólo un número. Bien vale la pena.

Después de leer algunos de los comentarios, yo estaba un poco decepcionado por DR. Un establecimiento sólo será tan bueno como el de gestión. Dicho esto, Recientemente tuvimos una cena de grupo [30] donde tengo que decir que el personal, que bien podrían ser joven, muy entusiasta y de lo más servicial. Nunca es fácil salir 30 diferentes comidas, pero la cocina se las arregló bien. El hecho de que no había una sola queja de la multitud habla volúmenes. Bien hecho a todos, y volveremos. Wouldn't say this is 4 star hotel Was there Saturday night on a 50th birthday party and with the food served wouldn't feed it to my dog Ordered steak and told they didn't have enough steak and for the manager he just not bothered £200 for 2 nights and ruined by Saturday night be careful if booking at durker roods If that is what a trained chef cooks god help them

The food and service excellent I am a very fussy eater and told the waitress what I would and wouldn't like. Well done perfect! Will definitely go again. Only one negative we were quite cold and it was December.

We were pleasantly surprised at how our whole experience at oscars. From start to finish our waiter Tommy was fantastic and made sure we were well looked after. The food was superb both the taste and presentation was 10 out of 10! This lovely hotel and restaurant is a hidden gem in Meltham and is a Must for anyone who lives local or who fancies some good food and a great price.

We were there last night on a Living Social voucher other wise would not have known about it. The food is excellent as is the service. Four of us with different dishes & every dish was superb. We shall return.

Our meal in Oscars was brilliant! The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and I'm a very fussy eater! Service was good and with a smile. Stopped in the hotel bar afterwards for a few drinks while mixing with the locals. Genuinely a great night and place to eat!

Decided to try this establishment after a long break as it was local to my friend and I could use my Tastecard The service and the food were both top notch and the fact that I used my Tastecard meant it was bargain to. Only comment is that the restaurant was extremely quiet, it is a lovely room and we felt we had private dining which in some ways was a plus point for us as we had a lot of catching up to do Thank you to the staff for not turfing us out at 2pm when the restaurant is supposed to close for lunch, we were chattering until 3.40 in the end Will definitely return again, maybe in the evening next time
