The best restaurants in Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

Last Wednesday I was there around 5:30 p.m. the restaurant was closed. There was no information on Facebook or even a simple note on the door. I tried to call, unfortunately no one answered. The next day I wrote a message asking about the situation, no response so far. This is the approach to customers in this restaurant

Had a lovely afternoon at the open mic session yesterday. A lovely country pub with friendly staff, a great atmosphere and we were made most welcome by the locals .....we will be back 😊☺️

What a great team!!!! I had my son’s Walima on the weekend at this venue 99+ guests .The communication between the manager and myself was great. She went out her way to make our evening so memorable. It is a great place to hold a small function. I would highly recommend this place. The food was delicious and the service of the whole team was amazing. Thank you so much!!!!

Absolutely delicious fresh food. Brilliant service to go along with this, we will definitely be returning.

Meal out with friends We were welcomed on arrival. The restaurant is modern and tasteful and you could see a lot of thought has gone in to it. There was the main menu and also a spring menu, so plenty of choice. The food was FABULOUS some of the nicest food we have ever had in a restaurant. Thank you, Chef. We will be returning at a later date. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Fantastic restaurant Great staff Food amazing

Called in for my tea last night absolutely brilliant the fish was so fresh and tasty haven’t been for a while but definitely going back and only £6 not ripping use of like some others I had fish and chips doesn’t give you the choice to select further down been quite a few times now just been tonight and still brilliant queuing out of the door still £6 I come all the way from MIRFIELD for these their better than anywhere locally and on average £3 cheaper just shows how some places are still ripping us off vote with your feet .

A cosy place to relax and enjoy your chai without fuss! I'd recommend it fir all the chairs ❤️ 👌👌👌👏

Beautiful saffron chicken kebab! The nice person behind the counter got me to try the peri peri chicken and also let me try the vegetarian pasta, both were lovely and I will back to try more of the menu! Very accommodating and friendly staff !!

Very nice haddock but very disappointed with the chicken wings. Uncooked in the middle. Very off putting. Hopefully daughter will not get food poisoning...

We went to Lost Property Café for a private function early one evening. The room size perfect which gave the whole party a lovely atmosphere and the food was sensational. The staff made everybody feel very welcome and relaxed. It was the perfect venue for this intimate family gathering. We have since been back several times for lunch to the Lost Property Café and every time it’s been a very enjoyable experience.
