Blythe and the team are amazing!! Recently we came for brunch as a large group the day after our wedding. We chatted in advance to arrange everything and everything that we wanted was accommodated for. Food was pre ordered from a fab and carefully selected menu which made things easy and relaxed while we were there. Our table was in the conservatory so we had the space to ourselves too! The food was fabulous as ever and we were truly looked after from start to finish!! Thank you 🤩

Great vibes and stunning food ✨ we got the Turkish eggs and full English breakfast and couldn’t fault it, the homemade house smokey beans are a great twist on the traditional breakfast and love the merguez sausage to add onto the Turkish eggs! All the staff are lovely, very accommodating and are always up for a chat and not to forget the great coffee they make! Definitely not one to miss 🍴💗

This has got to be one of the best brunch spots in Yorkshire. The whole team were amazing, lovely little atmosphere, a buzz but not too crowded. Perched over the river it has gorgeous views & has the best menu from any brunch spot I’ve been to before. This place is surrounded by countryside walks and reservoirs so I’d definitely recommend brunch & a walk or a walk then dinner here. :) Can’t wait to come back to try more of their menu!

Little gem of a place, the server on the floor was very friendly, bloke behind the counter needs to lighten up a bit but still great.

The most amazing brunch location!!! Food, service, location, interior, drinks all 10/10… there is genuinely not a thing that I would change 🤤🤤 We tried turkish eggs with merguez sausage, the grilled cheese with chorizo, sweetcorn ribs, and the onion bhajis. We also tried an iced coffee and a cherry blossom matcha and both were delightful. Everyone was incredibly friendly and you were made to feel so welcome. We will certainly be back. If you’re looking for a brunch location - this is for you!!!

This bar/café has been a really nice addition to Marsden. Nice coffee and friendly service in the daytime and a good selection of beers for later on. Good decor and decent background music, a nice place to chill when you need it.

Fantastic food. Great price for the quality you get. The English breakfast and avocado toast are amazing. Steve, Blythe and Che run the place and are great hosts. Lovely atmosphere, always feel welcome. The beer selection on tap is eclectic. Lot's of good craft choices. The night time bar atmosphere is very chill.

Thank you to Peel Steet Social for a fabulous experience today. We had a lovely warm welcome from the owners and the coffee was great. Brilliant establishment, we loved the decor! Great beers, good food and friendly staff. Dog friendly as well. Tough call between here and the Riverhead for my favourite place to get a beer in Marsden.

Honestly can’t say enough about this place!! I’m a regular and every time the food, service and drinks never fail, but the absolute best aspect of this place is the customer service, all the staff go above and beyond for you, when it’s absolutely rammed they always make sure your needs are met. Can’t say enough about this place, honestly it’s such a little gem!!!

This place has been my favourite place to visit since moving to marsden. Brillant drinks and food. Calm and exciting atmosphere depending on the time of day. My mum loves going too and has become very relaxed to be able to go by herself and order her regular, due to to Brillant staff making her feel comfortable and been understanding. Thanks Blyth and Steve for making her the best hot chocky choc drink and extra crispy bacon sandwiches

My husband and I really enjoy it at Peel Street Social. The food is always delicious and the service is second to none. We bring our dogs in here and have always been welcomed. The biscoff brownie is a favourite of ours, we’ve also always had amazing coffees. You can work from here during the weekdays too.

Visited with a friend on the bank holiday weekend, for a Saturday it was relatively quiet. Our food did seem to come out much slower than other tables around us, but it was on a special so maybe slower to make? Other than that food was nice and coffee good.

People of West Yorkshire you need to visit this amazing spot for brunch! If you know food around this area then you probably know Blyth and how much of a fabulous host he is. Well he has taken the plunge and opened his own place up with his partner Ste and what a great idea that was. From the minute we arrived it was packed and constantly busy. The menu was full of amazing brunch dishes and we were spoilt for choice. Everything we tried was delicious and full of flavour. The atmosphere was buzzing yet relaxed. We hope you both continue to smash it as its well deserved 🫶 Onto the food and we started with one of the specials Sobrasada, Whipped Avocado, Pickled Radish, Feta, Poached Egg on Sourdough- Sobrasada is very similar to Nduja, which is crushed Chorizo style sausage mixed up with a blend of herbs and spices. A good version is on the hot side and this one fit the bill perfectly. The avo was buttery smooth and nicely seasoned. The sharpness of the radish and the feta really cut through as well. The dish was rounded off with the perfect egg yolk pop! We really enjoyed this dish Wild Flower Honey Roasted Chorizo, Black Pudding, Poached Egg, Pickled Pink Onion, Chimichurri, Sourdough- As soon as i saw the menu on the socials, i had my eye on this dish so it had to be our second choice. The black pudding was excellent, it had a really nice texture and wasnt overly salty. The chorizo was cooked to perfection with a char to the outside- it was really good quality meat too as it wasnt swimming in grease and oil. The honey added the right amount of sweetness to the dish. Another spot on egg pop too! The brunch dishes here are the perfect balance of light but full of flavour No brunch is complete without a cocktail or two so we had to give them a try. With the rising costs in the current climate, you cant complain about 2 cocktails for £14. My husband absolutely loved his Espresso Martini which was the perfect balance of bold rich coffee and sweet caramel. He enjoyed the Old Fashioned too- using rum made it on the sweeter side rather than overly alcohol forward. My two drinks were exactly what i look for in a cocktail- fruity, refreshing, flavourful, summery and easy to drink. A great little cocktail menu They also do supper clubs too and we tried the Indian themed one, which consisted of four courses and a cocktail per person. We have to say this was an amazing menu- everything was cooked from scratch and the food felt very authentic to the Indian cuisine. The portions were very generous and filling- lots of carb heavy dishes balanced out by a lighter dessert at the end. The food was beautifully presented, super flavourful and we enjoyed everything that was put in front of us. The event was fully booked, which tells you how good the food is here. Service was outstanding once again, they let you eat at whatever pace you wanted and gave you a break in between courses if needed. This definitely wont be our last time trying the supper clubs

We recently went as a large group (including a couple of toddlers) and had a great time. We had brunch which was lovely, really tasty and loved the cocktails. Great welcoming atmosphere and service. Highly recommend for brunch.

A far few of us came for Mother’s Day lunch and were blown away by the food and service. We were really well looked after , no one needed to ask for a drink as Blyth was on it! All the staff were brilliant and welcoming, always warm smiles from Ste behind the bar:) Hands down my favourite coffee, even more delicious in an espresso martini! And the food was as ever, wonderful. If you’re looking for somewhere to go for a family gathering or event I’d highly recommend!

Dog friendly venue. The far seats in the box bay offer quite a nice view over the River Colne. Food is good, some fancy options available but the coffee alone is worth the visit.

Absolute gem. We couldnt get seated anywhere we tried and managed to get a table here. We were all glad thats where we ended up, food was amazing, amazing little place, will be back for sure.

Amazing eating venue by the river. The menu is superb with many different and interesting options to choose from all of which have been carefully thought through. The vegetarian breakfast was delectable with so combinations of flavours. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Absolute gem of a place! Just what Marsden needs. The food and drinks are spot on, however it's the ambience & service that make it what it is! I can't speak highly enough about the staff, always leave with a smile on my face. So warm & friendly! Good brunch, coffee, cocktails and laughs, what else do you need 🙂

Peel Street hosted a brunch as my friends wanted a laid back baby shower. The service was amazing, we pre-booked as we were a larger party and an additional option was given as many in the party had dietary requirements. On the day the team were helpful and prompt, food was prepared and we were frequently checked in on. Staff were friendly and made us feel really welcome so we thoroughly enjoyed our morning!

I recently had my surprise baby shower at Peel St Social and we had the most amazing night. Blyth and Ste were the best hosts and went above and beyond to make the evening so special (not forgetting the other staff who were also so friendly and accommodating … I’m so sorry I don’t know your names!!) The food was incredible as always and the place just has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If you haven’t already tried.. I would highly recommend a visit ❤️

It was our first time there and OH MY GOD what an amazing night we had! I'm not sure if they always have a DJ on, but the House tunes were amazing! It made me feel like I'm somewhere in a hipster area in New York! I loved the selection of beers and wine they had. We also tried their Bloody Mary's, and they were one of the best Bloody Mary's I've ever had! We will definitely be coming back for a House tunes and for some food next time, as we've heard food is amazing too. Oh and the guys who own it are amazing! Super friendly and welcoming :)

Fantastic food, best mocha in Marsden and the nicest staff and owners you could wish for. It has to be said the supper clubs are amazing! We've been regular visitors for a while and have never had anything but a lovely experience, which is a credit to everyone there.

Walked with a friend from Wessenden Head into Meltham. We paused for a bite before continuing down the canal towpath to Slawit. Thought Peel St Social looked OK, and were really happy with our lunch. An eclectic menu of interesting bits and bobs, much of which was vegetarian but could have carnivorous options added - quite a smart move. The Turkish aggs with a merguez sausage upgrade was vey tasty. Half a dozen craft ales on tap - the Peel St Pale was very nice. A pleasant room with a glassy side extension. We narrowly avoided some bum-numbing planks masquerading as seats though.

Peel Street Social is my favourite spot in Marsden. They make the best coffee in the village. The food is great and it has big selection of drinks. My son loves sitting in the overhang bit, looking at the river. Really friendly staff and owners too!

Had an amazing time at the most recent Supper Club last week. It was clear that a lot of love and effort had been put into the menu and environment. The staff were accommodating and friendly, the environment was warm and communal. I'd strongly recommend this to anyone coming out for an evening in Marsden.

Peel St social has it all, great coffee and brunch through the day, and a fantastic selection of craft beer on draft and in cans. Last night we went to the supper club event which was a real treat from start to finish- the cocktail, food and service was all amazing. Can't wait for the next one!

Popped in for a bit of lunch with my 2 year old son. Had a good time, service was good, food was nice but a little on the small side portion wise. My main gripe was that I wanted to order the £3.50 avocado on toast from the kids menu, but as my son didn’t like avocado, asked if this could be replaced with beans and a grating of cheese. He loved it, but upon paying I realised I’d been charged the £8 for an adults portion of the Smoky Beans, which seemed really unfair, especially given the replacement was unlikely to have been more expensive and it was on an English muffin instead of sourdough as it’s too tough for him. I’d would like to go again, but this has put me off a bit.

Good place, with a trip out. I wish they did dome live acoustic music like the Riverhead Brewery Tap do ( but RHBT only 1 x per month!).

The food was lovely, but did take a while to come out. We ate at 1pm, and a little weird that the breakfast menu is still in place until 3.30pm.

Really good food, service was excellent - efficient but not intrusive. Clean plates all round. Will come again.

Me and my friend wanted to come in to have some dinner and we thought it would be a nice place to go to. We found a table covered with drinks from previous customers so we moved it into the reserved table next to us as there was no place to put them and no one cleared them up. Then a tattooed, bearded gentlemen with stretchers in his ears came and passively aggressively asked if we moved them over. His rudeness towards us made me and my friend feel very uncomfortable and unwanted so we left. Will not be coming again.

The Arcade Marsden was a lovely find. The place was very cool and in a great location and a view of the river. We hade breakfast here, the food was really tasty. They are very dog friendly and is always busy.
