Always consistent. I'm a regular for the roadside service after 8. Very nice mocktails and the plain sugar donuts are delicious! When it comes to tea, my favourite is the Qatari tea as it has multiple spices!!

Ordered desi tea and assorted brownies. The tea was just the way desi tea should be (I had asked for less milk or strong tea) brownies were really nice and not overly sweet, just the way they should be. Customer service was spot on, warm, friendly and very humble people running it. Definitely recommend both if you’re passing by and fancy something sweet and a hot drink.

Really friendly people here, the tea was lovely and the food is always spot on. The brownie I remember it Melting in my mouth 😆 Kerbside is another beauty at this place.

Always my go to for my chai fix before heading back home to the Midlands. The variety is amazing and each chai is explained and even mini tasters are available to help you choose. Amazing service and the Donuts are an absolute must!

Far best chai in batley and dewsbury. Have been meaning to leave a review for a long time. I am regular to pappa chai. They make the best fresh brewed tea Arabic and Qatar are my favourite. This place is by far THE BEST place for tea and donuts!!! Its always been my go to since they opened few years ago service is spot on very polite and friendly. Everything is freshly made and you can just tell it is when you look at your treats and tea!! 👌🏼 If you're wanting a nice chai or some yummy desserts I definitely recommend this place!

Appalling attitude by the staff. Never again

I had seen this place open up so I thought I would give it a go. WHAT A DISASTER!!! I bought a cinnamon Tea. By the time I reached my car my hand was beginning to burn so I put the cup in the cupholder in car.i was a passenger in the car and noticed that the lid was leaking so kept pushing the lid back on but the tea kept leaking either from lid or the hole in the lid. I picked up the cup and the car went over a pot hole I got tea all over my clothes as the lid flew off. Went back to the place she admitted straight away that they had delivered the wrong lids. I said in that you shouldn’t be selling the tea as I nearly got scalded. She came out with a comment it’s not my fault they delivered the wrong lids. So I said to her I’m sorry but I’m not happy with this attitude of indifference it’s your responsibility. So I requested a refund. She begrudgingly gave me the refund 50p less than she had charged! But once I told her she gave me the 50p I told her I would give her a very good review for her service! Never Again!! It was never about the refund I think you guys keep mentioning that you have received a refund. It was never about the refund it’s your staffs attitude and lack of training, I had no intention of even asking for a refund, when she gave me Attitude I do not want to do business with you. Even now you don’t seem to comprehend if I had been burnt you would have had a liability claim against you !!!

Wow. I highly recommend the donuts, they're freshly cooked there and then, fluffy and straight up delicious. It's much cheaper priced than places like Heavenly Desserts etc, and better quality food.

I made a stop specially to try it on my way home to Leicester. I really enjoyed the tea and loved the service. The two ladies serving at the shop were amazing and really warm. I absolutely loved the peanut butter stack and Mars brownie was so gooey and delicious. What stole the show was your complimentary ginger tea. Ya Allah, I have never tasted ginger tea like that ever. I can still feel the taste in my mouth! Overall, a wonderful experience and look forward to coming again IN-ShāAllāh.

I love trying new tea places. On a visit to Dewsbury town I knew I had to try Pappa Chai. The staff serving were very helpful. They explained the difference between the teas. I opted for the Arabic tea and my sister had the Ginger tea. Also we bought a Nutella brownie. The tea came relatively quickly and I really enjoyed it. You could tell the tea was brewed freshly and not the powder that some big tea franchises serve. The Nutella brownie was really good. Will definitely visit again and try out the food. I have heard the tandoori seekh kebab paratha is really good. A lovely ambience and very clean. A fantastic quaint cafe to visit for a quick snack or a place to relax and enjoy your cuppa.

Papa chaii is trully the papa of all chaiis . It's a truly amazing place . Firstly , the customer service was great , if you of course treat them politely , since they were funny and polite . We ordered arabic chaii and we also grabbed a couple of brownies, one of them being triple chocolate, and for a good price . They were delicious. The chaii had the perfect blend of spice and sweetness which made the perfect cup of tea and the brownies were chocolaty and absolutely delightful . One request i would make to this brilliant cafe is that they neeeeed to add more seating area as if people are going on a long trip , they can sit down and relax . A great cafe .

Lady was lovely. I wanted to know what the Arabian tea tasted like and she gave me some to try. I've noticed they cater for alot of weddings that I have attended and their tea is lovely.

Amazing chai experience tried all the varieties and was surprised with every single choice. Also the warm starters are to die for the samosas are gourmet handmade and I just chomped down four of them. They also do freshly baked donuts and deserts I can honestly say they are 2nd to none..

My first time trying here and i recieved the most outstanding customer service! The people who served us are so humble, friendly and welcoming. They stood out to me because of their professionalism, honesty and how they put their customers before profit, unlike other businesses around here. On to the food, everything was made fresh and the homemade samosas and donuts were delicious. The Arabian tea with ginger was the best tea I've ever had. Love to see the menu expanded. Also beautiful decor, i love the rustic and homely feel to the place.

Been here a few times for tea and hot chocolate, which is always on point. had flapjacks which are very nice but what outshone all of these were the fresh donuts, lovely and soft with various toppings, since of the best I have had will definitely be back again for those.

Can't recommend Pappa Chai enough! We ordered a box of doughnuts, they were freshly prepared for us and while we waited we were offered samples of Arabian chai and karak chai by the very friendly staff. The chais were mouth-wateringly good. We would certainly have been tempted to have more had the weather not been so warm outside.. Rather impressed by the beautiful decor and the extremely friendly demeanour of the staff, we returned home with a box of 9 doughnuts. If the chais were divine, the doughnuts were sublime! Fresh, warm, soft and spongy; absolutely delicious! We will be back! Go treat yourself!!!

The thing which makes Pappa Chai stand out for me, compared to the other chai places in Batley, is it’s fantastic Arabian Chai. The brownies and milk cakes are also really fantastic! Will certainly be visiting Pappa Chai regularly.

First time trying Pappa Chai and wow I'm very impressed. I've had my fair share of karak chai and Pappa chai are killing the game! Absolutely amazing Arabian chai (with ginger takes it to the next level) and don't get me started on the brownies! Decadent, fudgy and addictive. We'll be visiting again and can't wait to try the rest of the menu. The gentlemen behind the till had great customer service and for the business only being on Week 9 after launching they are doing amazingly MashAllah. Congrats you've got two new regulars 👍

Definitely recommend all of you to visit Pappa Chai. Excellent service and friendly staff. I ordered the white chocolate hot chocolate and let me tell you, OH MY... that hot chocolate was the best thing I've ever had, even better than costa if I must say :) its just the right amount of flavour, not too milky and not too sweet, just right. I also had the samosas and you can tell that they are freshly made and taste amazing with a hot beverage.

First visit today to the shop and absolutely loved the decor and cozy look of the shop. Customer service was fantastic, the lady who served us was very helpful. We had Arabian tea which we very much enjoyed. Will definitely be going back again to try out the other tea varieties they sell.

Fantastic service backed up with genuine tea. I have sampled all their tea's and they really do have an authentic home brew taste. Their signature brownies are the most delicious I have tasted. My kids particularly enjoyed the Desi Hotdogs, kids might want to try these. All in all, genuine food and drink which sets them apart backed up with outstanding customer service. Already looking forward to what new food Pappa Chai's will be serving soon.

Love the atmosphere and deco of the shop. You can clearly see a lot of time, love and hard work has been spent on the establishment. The service is very efficient and fast and the staff are always so friendly. I have sampled all the teas and i have to say they definitely are unique and the best around. My favourite has to be the Arabian tea it has the right amount of sugar to spice ratio which never disappoints. The brownies are also delicious! We thoroughly enjoy our weekly Pappa Chai visits and look forward to you serving the community for a long time. 😊

I'm a tea man and I love to taste a proper good desi styleeee karak indian pakki chai 😂 I have to say papa chai karak ginger was a absolutely amazing however their Arabian Tea on another level , I go more or less everyday for my daily fix, Also I'm not a brownie person but their brownies was really tasty and I bought a few and my family loved them too, The staff and specially the owner Ali B are so nice and welcoming and also gave some freebies , May Allah SWT grant you guys plenty blessings in your sustenance, Aameen ❤️

The chai I ordered was really bad, it had a bad smell like the milk was gone out of date, my chai looked lumpy, tasted bad disgusting. The brownies I got were really hard, rock solid like they been out for days, definitely not freshly made, my daughter couldnt even eat them chew them. And the service was really bad, the man who was there was rude and kept perving at my wife, my wife felt really uncomfortable, this man doesn't know how to run a business, avoid completely

Lovely design and atmosphere and the best brownies!

The authenticly brewed tea at Pappa Chai is the real deal...none of that powdered stuff you get at other places..Pappa Chai serve proper brewed tea...made on premises.... Just how chai is supposed to be... I have tried the Karak Chai and the Karak Arabia and my own preference is the regular Karak..but on occasions I wouldn't mind the creamy sweet texture of the Karak Arabia which is also just as good. We also tried the brownies which were delicious as expected. Pappa Chai has wonderful decor inside and also offers kerbside service..Highly recommended.
