Volare Restaurant in Kirklees

Went to Volare to celebrate a family birthday and we had an excellent time. The staff were very polite, efficient and the service seamless. The food was delicious and I say this as someone who has experience of Mediterranean food. Finger-licking meatballs. Thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic food, lovely service. Sorry the mrs forgot to tip, we’ll make it up next time, the lovely staff deserves rewarding.

After reading reviews on tripadvisor, my wife and I decided to give Volare ago and I must say we were not disappointed, on arrival our greeting was very nice, the service very good and the food freshly cooked, steaming and very tasty, overall an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend. Lovely interior, and there’s parking in the nearby Co-op. We went after seeing it advertised on Happy Cow and, true to the reviews, there were lots of vegan options - tapas, mains, and desserts. Even the wines were labelled as such. The food was excellent and the service second to none. It was pricey for a midweek meal out for us but not complaining as everything was quality. We’ll definitely be back!

Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant, the interior has been designed with a cosy vibe and the atmosphere is always great. There is a great selection of Tapas and drinks. The food is always served efficiently and is very friendly.

We are so lucky to have this fabulous restaurant on the Shat strip in walking distance. Nicola always gives you a lovely welcome and the service is very efficient. The tapas food is fantastic with a great selection to choose from.

Lovely resturant with a great view. Whoever designed the interior really put a lot of effort into it and it really adds to the experience. The food was very good and tasty. My wife had a great time for her birthday and we were made to feel looked after. Highly recommend

We went for a meal for my boyfriends birthday meal last Saturday after hearing great things about this place, and we were not disappointed. Quirky decor, lovely staff and excellent food. The four of us all went for the tapas menu which has a good selection of vegan and vegetarian items. Absolutely recommend! It's not a surprise that you may have to book in advance.

5 out of 5 is an insult to this, one of the highest regarded restaurants in the area. Top notch food and first class service throughout. We had 12 tapas choices and a couple of bottles of an amazing Argentinan Malbec. Too good to review. Bravo all !!

Went to the volare tonight, I was invited by the owner Martin about 20 years ago thought I'd better make the effort and go b4 it was too late, it was a brilliant experience the food was wonderful, the service was excellent too, my wife and daughter and her boyfriend all had a great night, didn't see my old mate Martin from school though. Would defo recommend.

Italian food is everywhere but I don't know any as tasty as Volare's.

Where to start... We were a party of 24 celebrating a colleague's retirement. The food was both amazing and reasonably priced, great choice, tasty, presented really well and served promptly, even though we were a big group. Nothing was too much trouble for Nicola and Martin and their team, from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. I would highly recommend Volare and will definitely be back. Thank you Volare for making the evening such a memorable one 💕

Saw this place from the road as we were passing through; it looked very inviting. We weren't disappointed at all. Everything was great and I'd recommend it if you're anywhere near.

My wife and I visited the Volare in December. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The decor was good and the atmosphere and ambiance was perfect. The meals were fantastic especially the pizza. We will definitely go again.

What a brilliant evening we had last week!! 6 of us, welcomed like friends, served totally flawlessly by the best staff. The food was piping hot, fresh and tasty and we loved every mouthful. The desserts were lovely, such an interesting choice. So lucky to have this gorgeous place here in the village and we really must visit more often!

One of my favourite restaurants in Huddersfield. Really delicious food, lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Try are also so accommodating of dietary requirements. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Went to this restaurant after driving past and thinking it looked a lovely place for a long time. Went for wife's birthday with our little boy. Hospitality was excellent, food even better and Sangria EVEN better. Highly recommended.

Beautiful food, a gem in the village of Skelmanthorpe

Amazing tapas menu, food was hot cooked and full of flavour. Very small venue, so cosy but not intimate. Wine menu limited. Desserts not a favourite, ordered sticky toffee pudding, when it arrived quite obviously from a local shop microwaved and very dry. The sort of small dome shaped puddings you can buy in any supermarket. I complained as inedible and front of house apologised and removed from bill, they also explained too many puddings on menu and impossible to prepare fresh on site, unfortunate as the food and service was very good and nice atmosphere. Would go again but management need to realise that public expectations have risen over time and expect homemade food at realistic prices, i.e would have paid more than a fiver for dessert had it been of quality standard.

Early bird menu is very tasty and good value for money. Other menu choices also of good quality and value. Two draft beers and bottled beers of quality help the meal along. Mine host is welcoming and staff efficient and friendly. A good experience all round.

Booked a table for 10 plus a toddler. Food and service were great. We're planning on returning as a couple without child to enjoy it a bit more. Can't complain about the price either, felt that the food was very reasonable.

Not where we planned to be tonight, but so pleased we stumbled across this place. Staff friendly, helpful and attentive without being pushy. All the dishes we had were flavoursome. Thanks to all the team, we will 100% be back again.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Lovely bustling atmosphere, great decor and extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Great selection of wines and beers etc, but, the food is really what makes Volaré a star show. There is loads of choice. Tapas, pizza, pasta and tagine dishes to name just a few. Volaré is well worth a visit if you are in the area. An absolute favourite 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
