Ordered take away on Saturday via Just Eat. Arrived late, was very expensive (over £35 for 2 pizzas and I portion of chips) Pizzas were disgusting. Soggy bases etc and chips were cold They ended up in bin ! Phoned the take away to complain and was told a full refund would be offered via just est. the person who ordered these pizzas has had an awful time trying to get refund … only offered £9 ! Still not got full refund. Will not be using this ever again

2 drinks and 2 inedible “melts” for £18. Very strange service, got bombarded as we walked through the door. The older lady working there got in a strange mood because we hadn’t decided on drinks yet, even though she was politely asked to let us have two more minutes to decide, got in a huff and a puff and stormed downstairs. The food was awful. 2 raw baguettes with a burnt edge on one side, not sure how that is possible but they achieved it! . Sloppy tomatoes, half melted grated mozzarella and some oil dripping out of it which was meant to be “pesto”. Only positive thing was my canned drink! Pricing is absurd for the food that was given.

Overpriced rubbish small potions way overpriced, get yourself to Poppa Piccolinos holmfirth way better quality, bigger portions cheaper price

Great little pub, staff always lovely. Food is great value, always have burger of the month on a Wednesday with their offer

Had lunch here a couple of weeks ago, it was lovely highly recommended 👌 order 2 x homemade takeaway pizzas for £18. Absolutely delicious 😋 will be going back. Staff are friendly and lovely 😍

Anything fried was dark as the oil needed changing. Chicken Sate was tasteless, fried rice was ok though. Chicken Balls we’re dripping oil and inedible.

Took my daughter out for a late Sunday roast and we weren’t disappointed. We both had the beef and it was delicious and a generous portion. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the views were amazing. The price was really reasonable and we will both definitely be back to this gem.

I visit this cafe regular with residents I look after at the dementia home I work in. They are always so friendly and helping in any way they can to give our residents the best service when there. If I ever want to go all i need to do it ring and reserve a couple of seats on the ground floor. Fantastic place with fantastic staff

I have a severe peanut allergy and was going out for a family meal at Da sandro a couple of weeks ago. I spoke with the manager Angelo on the phone ahead of our visit and he was really helpful and understanding. On the night,he came over himself to take our order and took extra care and attention when helping me select an appropriate meal. He made sure to effectively communicate my dietary requirements to the kitchen staff and I felt really at ease. The food was absolutely delicious and based on this experience we will now be regulars at Da sandro!

As always great value and good quality. Cameron, the carver, friendly and chatty whilst being served and food was hot and delicious. Would have liked to see onions in gravy on veg deck again though! Seb, our server, really pleasant and friendly, attentive but not over the top, and as always enjoyed the choc fudge cake which is gluten free!

What a fantastic breakfast, lovley quality produce , it was quite busy but didn’t have to wait two long for a table. Fab service and what a view from the windows 😊

Staying in Huddersfield as i work away from alot (Scotland) and been here for a few months now so i came across this hidden gem and i will say that the chicken biryani was delicious full of chicken tikka and veg and to ve honest it was one of the best meals i have had in a while, seriously try ur self n not trust other horrible comments you see and pop in like i did to try ur self, HIDDEN GEM MASHALLAH
