*Proper* pizza, with a base to die for. As good as any I've had anywhere, including Sardinia and mainland Italy.

Came here today with my family and we loved it. The food was delicious! We had a young waitress who was very attentive to our needs, lovely atmosphere downstairs in the restaurant. I would definitely come again!

The pizza base was amazing but the pizza was like they forgot to add onion and chicken all over as it was just on one side. Also fries were tasty but not a lot of them. Not sure about ordering again I will have to think about it but it was filled the spot well. Thank you.

We went for the first time on Friday extremely disappointing We ordered pasta garlic bread chips and pizza,firstly the young waitress needed training as they didn't know what was on the menu, we felt sorry for them having to keep asking them ,secondly the cutlery was dirty, then the starter and the pasta main came out, when asked about the pizza that didn't come at all the waitress spoke to me very rudely, then the owner came down being very loud and arrogant.he asked how the service was and didn't give us chance to reply he walked off ,we didn't get the side plates or chilli flakes when asked for them to begin with ended up taking the pizza home as a take out in the end as we had finished our meal so spolit the complete mood and atmosphere in the end.went upstairs was offered wine as a good will gesture at which I stated I don't drink alcohol then she offered me again wine.then offered to take off the pizza completely disappointing never returning again

Really good pizza but the burgers aren't the best. Also misleading as ordered a tropicana cheese burger but it had ham on it which wasn't advertised.

How does this place not have more reviews! Best Pizza I have had in Huddersfield and now officially my families Go-To for authentic Italian pizza. The base on their pizzas is classic and not greasy like most Indian made pizzas, and the selection is good.

This is a great pizza takeaway place that you always dine on at in the basement restaurant. Best thing for me being Coeliac is their extensive choice of GF pizzas, pasta and desserts. Pizzas are excellent and a good size with plenty of toppings. Staff are incredibly friendly.

The lady named Donna at service desk is very aggressive. She doesn’t even have the basic manners to deal with the customers. My order delayed more than 45 minutes and she didn’t even apologised and ultimately i had to cancel the order. However the owner himself is a gentleman and all this happened just because of his absence. If the owner wants to keep his business running then he must take responsibility and assign responsible and honest person at front desk.

Very very poor today. Not seen online for a while so was looking forward to it. The seafood pasta is 40% cherry tomato's 50% tiny mussels and cockles. 10% pasta. The sauce just tastes like vinegar from a jar. The spag bol was nice but only half a container. The carbanara ridiculous just full of pepper corns and only half a container. Pizza was absolutely tiny but it was nice more like a young childs pizza. Got no bottle of coke I order Iver. Other dishes have not tryed yet but they look good

We really enjoyed our food from Piccola! My pasta order was wrong, unfortunately, as I ordered the penne with meatballs and the penne with chicken, mushrooms and garlic came instead. Luckily it was delicious so no harm done!! We frequently order pizza from here and it’s always gorgeous!!

Absolutely fantastic meal tonight. Had the meal deal 2 pizzas and a bottle of wine for 24 pounds. Pizzas are Absolutely fantastic and the service is 5* service. Would recommend this place. Lovely little family business if your looking for a family meal or date night

What a fantastic little "hidden gem" of a place. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is friendly and the staff....... The staff pull the whole experience together perfectly. They are welcoming, friendly and could not be more accommodating. I have been here now on three separate occasions and will certainly be coming back many more times. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone

We have ordered from here many, many times. The food was the best takeaway pizza, Lasagne etc we'd ever had. I'm not sure what has changed lately. The last two orders have either had the wrong items or missing items and we have noticed portions getting smaller. This last time the pizza was tiny and burnt and a portion of chips was missing. Maybe the business has changed hands or something, it definitely seems to have declined since not providing their own delivery service. Previously we've told many friends about this wonderful take away but unfortunately our opinion has changed and we will not be ordering again. A real shame.

I was rather disappointed tbh….i ordered Greek salad and got mozzarella! But it had been placed on hot food so was all wilted 😶 also spare ribs only got two and they were very fatty and grizzly! Pasta was tasteless….

Popped in after a recommendation from a friend. We ate in (family of 4), although also operates as a takeaway. Service was excellent and food delicious (son said it was the best pizza he's ever had!). Fantastic family business, definitely worth a visit and loads of options on the menu!

Luca was incredible sorting us out 16 pizzas for take out. They were all hot, ready on time, and great value. Everyone was raving about them.

Second time ordering from this place as i thought i would give it a try as it is local to me, was disappointed to see my pizza toppings werent as described similar to last time i ordered, no nduja or roquito peppers on the pizza as was described, just green peppers instead. The caprese salad was just mozzarella tomatoes and salad leaf, but is described differently with basil, balsamic and cherry tomatoes. Overall pretty disppointing as i was expecting ingredients i order off a menu.

All toppings had slid to one side of the pizza. The delivery driver needs to take more care.

absolute joke of a place. nearly 3hours later it arrives, missing items. not able to get through on the phone! had to make my child something else as it arrived too late, past her bedtime. ridiculous!

This wasn’t a great take away. The pizza dough was really soggy. We ordered 4 cheese chips that listed goats cheese, gorgonzola and other cheeses but it was just a bit of mozzarella on top. Really disappointing as I wouldn’t have ordered them if I’d have known. Order wasn’t very hot and came 45 minutes late … I wouldn’t recommend.

I ordered for a family of 8, who all wanted Italian. I don't eat cheese but was happy to order a burger, as they sounded good from the menu description. The rest of the family enjoyed their pizzas and pastas - so that's what the four stars are for. But despite requesting 'no cheese' on my burger in the special instructions on Just-Eat, my burger was covered in it. The burger patties were of the kind you get in a fun fair, not hand-made as I'd imagined, and the chips were soggy. So no stars for my bit, which I couldn't eat.

Honestly the best pizza around. Napolitan style, fresh ingredients and made fresh. Great spot and found out that you can eat in aswel. Highly recommend.

A real shame as we order quite a lot from here, but this time the food was over an hour late and I had to get an update on delivery. When it arrived, it was cold. Left them feedback but no reply, so to Me that's poor service and I'll support elsewhere.

My partner loves this restaurant we ordered the calzone gluten free carbonara and a lasagne with the tiramisu and the food is to die for Mamma just knows how to cook it's our last night in town before moving across country and it wouldn't be right if they weren't our last meal if you want authentic Italian food this place is where it is if we could get them to cater our wedding or hell the rest of our lives we would stop wasting your time reading these and just order already 😍

4 cheese chips don't have 4 cheeses on anymore. When we first ordered from here the gluten free pizzas were absolutely amazing! The dough just isn't the same anymore, very cardboard tasting, thin and chewy! Lasagna was overcooked to high heaven so the pasta sheets were just like mush, what of what wasn't stuck to the container it was in that is!

Ordered a delivery it came really quick but the pizza was really dry and hardly any toppings won't be ordering again 😒

That was the best Italian I have ever had was hit good flavours will definitely be ordering a gain 10 out of 10 to the chef

Ordered a Calzone, which was just cheese and ham, no sauce. The pollo pasta had a very funny taste and smell to it, overly cheesy and the chicken was rubbery. Was very disappointed.

Arrived hot even with the travel from Huddersfield to Halifax. Likely one of the best Italian takeaways we have ever had. Penne pollo and Carbonara were ridiculously tasty. Garlic bread was excellent also. Definitely be ordering again.

First time ordering, and disappointed 😔 Ordered extra mushrooms on both pizzas (paid 3.00 extra) but no mushrooms delivered. Called restaurant to tell them to read the order properly, guy said he ‘forgot’ to add the extra mushrooms. Offered a replacement, which I declined. Pizza was fine, but disappointing first order.

Just bought 3 pizzas and 3 slices of chocolate cake from here… sensational! My pizza was gluten free I cannot begin to describe how good it was, this is the best pizza I’ve had since discovering I was celiac 10 years ago, I nearly cried tears of joy. My family has the regular gluten pizza, they said it was amazing pizza. This is now our go to place for pizza

Disappointing. We have used once before and all was good. Last night the food arrived at 9.05pm, the window for the food to arrive was 7.50pm to 8.10pm. The system is telling me I got my food at 7.55pm, I didn't. The woman who delivered didn't apologise for the lateness of delivery and seemed upset that our doorbell wasn't working and she had to knock. The irony being, that for that reason, we had watched for them coming on our security cameras and I'd only stopped watching the cameras on my phone to phone them to see if they were actually going to deliver to us!

Ribs were to die for and pizzas were stunning.

Earlier than expected time late on Sunday evening. The pizza was really good, if it was slightly less charred on the bottom then it would have been absolutely perfect. It's so nice to have a pizza that isn't mostly doug, and is actually a thin base. Thank you!

Had the pizza Romagnola and it was absolutely delicious. Very authentic Italian pizza, just what we were hoping for. Friendly chat as we ordered made for a pleasant experience. We'll definitely be back. I'll take a photo of the pizza next time because it certainly looked as good as it tasted.

I'm sorry but I used to like this place, something seems to have changed. Pizzas always seem undercooked, no colour on the cheese. I got 1 rib and 2 small pieces of meat for £7.50, and they looked rank too. The chips with toppings are just frozen chips with a tiny dollop of topping, real chips are easy to make and it will make you stand out! Sorry guys, just not happy again.
