Went with family for lunch. Busy, but plenty of room and a very nice atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming staff.
The menu had something to suit everyone and included some interesting choices you don't tend to see in many eating places, which were totally delicious.
Well worth a visit.
Pulled up in carpark and made to feel really unwelcome. Outside doors being slammed and just being stared at. Requested food, it was a Sunday after all, and was told that there was a buffet later. Could not even offer a sandwich. New to area but will not return. The pub had been recommended to us by locals but first impressions are everything.

The fish and chips were the most disgusting I have ever had. Will not be back here.
I ordered two special (large) cod, one chips, one mushy peas. I got two small fish and chips and one mushy peas.
Why?I don't know.
Service was terrible.
The chip fat has a dreadful smell to it, which taints the food.
I have been ill all night after eating this food.
We certainly would not go anywhere near this place again.
I wouldn't even give it one star for food.

Very basic pub. Toilets were disgusting. Disabled toilet was used as a cleaning cupboard and I couldn't get in to use it. There where two other toilets in the ladies. One had no door on and the other had no lock on. Being disabled I could not use the ladies as the toilet was too low for me and the toilet roll was on the floor. No paper in the proper dispenser. Needless to say didn't stay long. Will never go again

Stopped off here for a sausage sandwich and tea for one. although the food and service was good I think your price for a sausage sandwich at £4.75 and tea at £3.25 was very expensive the total I paid was £8.00 after taking a walk I saw I could have got the same 2 minutes away for less than £5.00
Stayed for a Wednesday evening meal. Wow! Had the rack of lamb it was absolutely stunning, melt in your mouth, with a beautiful accompaniment of vegetables and chips Highly recommend a visit.
We called the pub asking if they were able to cater for 3 of us carers a Sunday lunch.
They explained how they’re under a lot of pressure today with it being Mother’s Day and fully booked up. But still said to pop in and they would sort 3 meals to take out.
Food was smashing!
Service was fantastic!
We will definilty be back
Thankyou again
We have just returned from a 2 night stay in one of the refurbished suites, and we must say it was exceptional. From initial check in with a warm friendly smile to our beautiful suite everything was perfect. We stayed for dinner on the first evening enjoying a 3 course meal finished with baileys hot chocolate. It was perfect from start to finish. The second evening we would have definitely eaten there again but we were attending a wedding. We really would go out of our way to stay here again.
Working away from home and staying in a lovely guest house up the road and we decided to go for a pint. I saw other customers food being brought out and I couldn’t resist!!!! And I was the furthest from disappointed than a fat man who loves his food could be. The roast of the day Yorkshire wrap is beyond words and I will be returning when I’m over this way again and to top it off as this review is titled? The landlady and the staff are so welcoming I felt like I’d walked in to my local not a pub 200 miles away from home!! Thank you so much and I will be back.
We were looking for some were different to have Sunday lunch. We certainly made the right choice. The staff were friendly and the surroundings were very welcoming. We ordered at the vegetable soup for starters, when it arrived it looked perfect and appetizing served with a bread roll and butter. On tasting the soup was nice and hot and completely full filling a perfect starter. The main course we ordered was a traditional roast with beef our choice of meat. Our main course arrived and looked delicious the presentation of the food on the plate looked perfect. Once again the food was hot and really satisfying in fact wonderful. We were eager to try a starter even though we were edging towards very full, never mind let's ' Push the Boat Out'. We ordered treacle sponge and custard. It arrived steaming hot with a generous jug of custard also very hot. On indulging on our desert it was lovely and we did not want it to end. All I can say is we believe we made the perfect choice, and would like to thank the staff at The Hase for making our Easter Sunday very enjoyable. It won't be long before we will be visiting again.
Now called Lyndseys cafe, popped in for breakfast with my daughter. Friendly staff, quick service, hot freshly made coffee, good breakfast, clean toilets.....nothing we didn't like.
We had the breakfast stack, was really good.....bigger than you think!
We will be back :)
