The best restaurants in Wolds Weighton East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

I've used the takeaway service several times now since covid and the first couple of times was hit and miss. I was not impressed with the plain rather overpriced hot dog. But I persevered and I have now discovered the beef Piri burger which is delicious, their chips are genuinely the nicest I've ever had! However, the 'home made' desserts were really disappointing. They come in a carton with the manufacturer's name on it. Clearly factory made and frozen, very small portion at £3.80 each I feel completely ripped off!

We love these tea rooms. It's a great spot to warm up after a lovely walk, there are so many lovely walks from the village. The soup is amazing, we have it every time. The service is so friendly. The cakes are amazing.

There is little you can do to re-invent a breakfast but these have done a good job. Amazing really, good fried egg, plenty of bacon, best black pudding and really dark, deep beans. This is the extra large brekkie that comes without a drink. Great place, great breakfast. This is a regular motorcycle meeting place and the locality is often patrolled by speed guns. If you are travelling towards the coast from Garrowby Hill this place is in the village on the left. Sorry we took no photos but it was scoffed before we thought about it.

I've never tasted Chinese food so amazing and the experience was so much value for money. The staff and owners are so kind and friendly. I've tasted a lot of Chinese food and this place is Miles above the rest!! Thank you for an amazing food and hospitality experience 😊

We love coming here after our circular walk following the Yorkshire Wolds Way. It was very busy on this cold, sunny Wednesday morning (we are used to it being quiet!) but luckily a table was available. We did have a longer wait than usual for food but the coffee was quickly served and as always delicious as was the Yorkshire brie & honey panini!

Llegamos a conocer a los tres chicos Wonky, Roo & Dave enseguida tan soo como llegamos ya que el gato encantador estaba esperando también presentarnos, conocimos a todos los demás animales de granja y Ginge el gato, pero fue 100% las increíbles vacas de las tierras altas que hicieron de este viaje lo que fue. Recently moved to Wetwang. The Victoria Inn is a very friendly pub, landlord and landlady made us feel very welcome. We popped in this evening to grab a quick pint and a takeaway from the bombay clay oven which is the restaurant/takeaway in the pub. Food was amazing, service was quick and we were given some complimentary poppadoms and pickles with our order. Would highly recommend the pub and restaurant. We will be back.

Really nice tasty indian and good value for money, would recommend for anyone thinking to try 😀 chicken tikka starter really tasty and vindaloo perfect spice

Bread was stale. Very dry and crumbled in my hands. Not what you expect from couplands. Considering they sell fresh bread I was very upset. Put me off my sandwich. I would have took it back but didn't eat it soon as I left the shop. I was at the other end of Weighton. Maybe if it wasn't raining I'd have gone back

Sad to say, it seems if you know the owner they'll serve them first rather than the line of customers. I'll have to have a very good reason to go back at all.

Such a lovely inviting place. Excellent menu and great quality food. Calling ahead is recommended. Although the mixed grill wasn't on the menu that particular day, they were more than happy to do them for us. Highly recommend.

No honro la oferta que anuncian, tienen una oferta si 2 cócteles por £ 10 3 hasta 5 todos los días de la semana, entramos y los pedimos y nos cobraron el precio completo, cuando se le preguntó al trabajador del bar miró la fecha y la hora y respondieron “oh, simplemente no los miércoles, ya que tenemos una noche de preguntas esta noche” fue risible realmente solo había nosotros también y otras tres personas en todo el pub, no volveremos ya que se hacen parecer poco confiables.

Lovely and clean exceptional staff very friendly Room was well appointed and spotless great nights sleep Breakfast was awesome as was evening meal on the bar Claire and her staff made our stay exceptional will be back

Didn't stay in the room but the food experience was lovely. Busy and friendly atmosphere. Food arrived quickly and good value. Presented nicely, hot and tasty. Would recommed.
