Smallish traditional type curry house. Good menu choice. Not the very best curry we have had but still very worthy. All dishes were of a decent size and seemed very well prepared and presented. Staff were on the friendly side and we thought the prices reasonable. Only thing we were not so keen on was that we were we sat at the back of the restaurant next to what seemed to be next to an open storage type area, with boxes of wine stacked up and the like, this spoiled the ambiance of the place for us a little. Test is would we go back, that's a yes.

Excellent. Friendly service and food was really good.We bought 2 cakes on the way out and what a treat they were.Will definitely call again when visiting York

Tried the fish and chips today 😋 well cooked white fish with crispy batter. It's not a fish I've heard of, but definitely rate it 👌 The staff are very welcoming and pleasant, but not pushy. Always clean and inviting

Its McDonalds. . . You know what you are getting. . . This particular visit to this restaurant happened to be after a 16 hour days work and I was starving, so it was quite possibly the best I have had 🤣

We've being using this Chinese takeaway for several years and we've never had one bad meal yet. The food is always tasty and quick polite service. We have tried other Chinese takeaway's and they're not a patch on the Golden Star. Can't fault it.

The most unappetising doner kebab I have ever eaten. Donna meat chucked on top of a warm pitta, no salad and sauce in a pot. Presentation obviously not a priority!

Nice little pub to be fair. Meal we had was delicious, lambs liver and onions with chips and peas. Liver melted in your mouth. Good selection of beers and tea and coffee.

Very disappointed spent nearly £50 last night on a treat for wife and 4 boys, Ordered 2 kids fish and chips 2 regular and 1 large. Got home we all sat down fish was OK, but the chips wasn't edible , they was definitely chips from the day before recooked! They was like chewing rubber or you was biting into an empty chip, very very disappointed! Literally just ate the fish !

Comida excelente. Personal absolutamente fantástico servicio al cliente. Muy elegante decoración. La comida salió rápidamente. Lo único que podría haber sido mejor fue si las cosas se etiquetan veganas en el menú para que sea más fácil para los veganos.

This is a must visit place if you are in the area. The grounds are lovely to walk round . The cafe as an outdoor and indoor dog friendly area. The view is lovely from the conservatory. The staff are friendly. Coffee and cake was lovely. A favourite place of mind to visit. Free WiFi if you need it.

A tail end of a fillet , how this can be called large cod i would love to know , for the price this isn’t good enough. Disappointing

Fab room, plenty of space, clean, comfy bed, big powerful shower,friendly staff, good bar area and good breakfast would 100% say again!

This cafe is now called Miss Bs pantry. Very friendly ladies and delicious food. As a coeliac myself I have to have gluten free. This is very well catered for here so my partner and I have visited on numerous occasions.Various selection of savoury dishes and cakes. Lovely latte too. Well worth a visit.

my wife and I got a cold cut up chicken sandwich and way under cooked pasta salad with cheap mayo . it said grilled chicken so by some chance I thought it might have been hot.wwow!!and the French dip was equally horrific. the place smelled like a massive hard boiled egg peeling contest was taking place ..at least I hope that is what is was. geeez!!safe to say we won't be back.
