Delicious Asian street food with plenty of vegan options. Especially loved the gyozas and loaded fries. Totally underestimated the portion sizes. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had! The flavours were incredible—every dish was perfectly spiced and bursting with authentic taste. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. The staff was warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The owner -Jabba was so lovely! The restaurant is newly decorated and looked fab. We drove just over a 50 mile round trip to go after ordering a takeaway from there the evening before at a local glamping site near to Pocklington. If you're craving top-notch Indian food, Bengal Lounge in Pocklington is the place to go. I’ll be back again!

In our opinion, this is easily the best chippy in town. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly, it's one of our favourite places in Pocklington. Fantastic.

This has to be the best Breakfast Iv ever had. The service was amazing. The food was delicious. We had to Que which is normal, and I nearly thought I wouldn’t bother…….Im so glad we did as it was soo worth it. We were also able to order from the shop at our table which was convenient. Couldn’t fault anything.

We were in York for the marathon weekend and visited for food on Sunday and had an amazing roast dinner! The staff were lovely and welcoming and the prices were very reasonable. If ever we are in the area again, we will definitely return!

Went for a quick bite to eat on a Thursday evening and was delighted. Excellent food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, dog friendly, would highly recommend.

Lovely Sunday lunch at great prices in our local pub. Reasonable wine prices (and French to boot), great beer and lagers and superb roast dinner (beef, pork or turkey). Not to mention my pâté starter. We didn’t have room for a dessert. Next time! Thanks team.

Tonight was Pie Night, cracking value, great service, and delicious food. The Oddies is tops for us. This Village would be list without you and your team.

Popped in spontaneously for a meal after being out for the afternoon. We were waemly welcomed by name, as always! It doesn't matter if it's been 6 weeks or 6 months or more, Billy always remembers us! Food was absolutely spot on, as always. Great service; we left with happy tummies! Thoroughly recommended!

Had a great time at Number 10 Stamford Bistro for late-night drinks with friends! The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy, perfect for unwinding. We shared a couple of desserts, and they were absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Originally we were going to pizza on the square but that was very busy and very noisy with some large groups there. We opted to try this establishment having not been there before it was a bit of a mystery visit. Firstly we were greeted at the door with a smile and were quickly shown to a table the door, this was not a problem to us. The server came across straight away and gave us our menus and took the drinks order. There was a table of six and three couples already in attendance some were already served the others waiting. The server was under a little pressure at this time but was joined ten minutes later by colleagues and altogether the service was good, very friendly and professional. Our drink came with a short delay, the main courses took about twenty minutes to arrive which was very acceptable in the circumstances. The food was plentiful, well presented, hot and very tasty. I had the burger which was thick and juicy served with lettuce, tomato, three proper onion rings ( very good ) and thick cut chips. All our party of four had good food and the experience was very good and will return.

They no longer serve food, so this needs to be made public notice! When I asked the guy behind the bar he said he could not do anything! A party of Four, left very disappointed... Customers beware.

Once again it met high expectations from the last visit. The food is tasty, looks cheffy but isn’t overly fussy. So many flavours that melded. My son had the eggs Benedict and loved the chutney underneath to add a little sweetness. We shall return
