Once again it met high expectations from the last visit. The food is tasty, looks cheffy but isn’t overly fussy. So many flavours that melded. My son had the eggs Benedict and loved the chutney underneath to add a little sweetness. We shall return

White hof chocolate was a very strange flavour. So went to speak to a member of staff and only received a rude response..shame as its a nice little cafe but we won't be returning.

The food is fabulous & has a great selection to choose from. It was difficult to make a decision as it all looked lovely. We chose two different things to compare. We all get that food envy when you see other things coming out. It all looked amazing. The cafe is small & only has a few tables, but if the weather is good you can sit outside. The food is fresh & made to order & you can also see the chefs working in the kitchen. The staff were lovely & friendly & the food is hot when it gets served to you. (This is a rare case these days) I will definitely be coming again. The cakes looked fabulous as well,so next time we shall try those.

A great place for breakfast. Warm, welcoming and great coffee and food. Always served with a smile. Our ‘go to’ cafe in Pocklington, while waiting for our dog to be groomed nearby !

Came for lunch & just had the best & poshest salad I’ve ever had. The only negative is that I’m now going to undo the good I’ve done by trying the delicious looking cakes. Very friendly staff, busy which is great for business & you can see the food being freshly prepared *****

Called in for tea and cake My banana and chocolate cake was rather dry and just crumbled but maybe that’s how it should be. My husband’s Victoria cake was incredibly moist. We both had tea I asked for tea for two expecting a pot of tea and a pot of hot water when it came it was literally a cup with a tea bag and hot water !!! £2.40 each for a tea bag and a cup full of hot water totally ridiculous !!! So over priced we were both gobsmacked 😲 I know costs have gone up but your tea prices are shocking especially for what you get unbelievable. So obviously we won’t be calling in again for tea or cake.

We called here for coffee and a bite to eat. The food here was absolutely wonderful! It is so nice to see a menu with healthy and interesting options. I opted for the smoothie bowl with avocado toast - yum! There was about 5 or 6 things on the menu I was tempted by, which is unusual for me. It was fabulous and we are sure to visit again very soon. Maybe we will try one of the lunch items next time. Well done Whisk!!

Called in for lunch based on previous trip advisor reviews. Decided on the Rainbow Salad. I had lemon chicken and my husband had grilled haloumi. It was by far the tastiest and beautifully presented salad we both have ever tasted! Leaves, tomatoes, nuts, seeds, half an avocado, beetroot and other very tasty and colourful things. Our only criticism was that these salads were not advertised very well on their menu. It just said multicoloured leaves, nuts and seeds when there was so much more. Excellent service too.

Nice little cafe with a nice atmosphere and service. The food was lovely, and I will be returning to try the cakes. I felt the price was reasonable and fair, especially compared to some other places that I have visited recently. Thank you

This place is great, the hash brown balls are divine the coffee is good and strong and the staff are friendly and helpful. Been here for brunch a few times now and will be back again soon! Only knocking a star off as the furniture/table set up isn’t good for tall people, knees hit the tables etc and it’s a bit pricey (but still overall very good).

We visit my mother here regularly and Whisk is where we have our breakfast and occasional brunch/lunch whilst there. Fantastic food made in a very bijou space by a hard working team - if you feel you can walk it off do have the banoffee pancake stack or if you’re a purist like me, it’s got to be Laverack’s sausages! Lovely fresh juices if you want a break from coffee and my mother’s favourite cake - blueberry loaf.

Hit them just at the right time before it became really busy. Great choice of menu, we both went for the special of mushroom soup served with sourdough bread and shared a large portion of chips with chutney, chilli sauce and raita poured on top. The soup was the best I've ever tasted. The coffee was hot and strong, had cake to take out as we were full. Definitely recommend.

I really like this place. The coffee and food are excellent, and it’s a great place for breakfast if you get there before the crowds. However, the last time I was in my partner said that she didn’t want to eat there again, as the place was dirty. I looked at the wooden floor, and she was right. Even though we were almost first in, the floor needed a vacuum, and a mop, if not a good sanding! It was indeed quite filthy. I’m sure this doesn’t affect the food but it is off putting. Please put some more effort in here guys.

Having passed several cafés we called into Whisk and we very glad. My husband had a tea, with a bag in a cup which seems to be a ' thing ' and I had an excellent cup of coffee. We had Eggs Benedict with bacon on hash browns, which looked homemade and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend Whisk!

Another amazing experience at whisk. Had the breakfast burrito, my wife had a pulled prom sandwich and we shared a milk way blondie, all were amazing. The hash browns with the breakfast burrito and the milky way blondie were both respectively the best I have ever had. I love how the selection of cakes is constantly changing and I am yet to be disappointed by any. The coffee is fabulous and I have had it several times, today however I went for a ice tea which was perfect in the sun.

We’ve wanted to pop over to pocklington for a while now to eat here and we are so glad we did. Gorgeous little cafe, beautiful decor with inside and outside seating, lovely staff. Fresh seasonal menu with plenty of choice of food and drinks. Everything was so tasty and delicious. We visited late in the day but we will definitely be back again to sample the breakfast pancakes. Love how the hot drinks come with a little whisk, very clever idea

We stopped in on a Tuesday late afternoon. There was only one table occupied so it was nice and quiet. We both had double scoop cones. There were loads of ice cream flavours to choose from. Yummy.

We booked into the lodges next to the Gardeners Inn and decided to walk around for dinner & drinks. The venue is decorated for Halloween which I did enjoy and we had a lovely welcome from the waitress. A few item were sold out but the menu was plentiful and the food did not disappoint. I had the sizzling hunters chicken and my partner had Korean Chicken. Portion size was fantastic the side salad & slaw was fresh, definitely the best hunters chicken I’ve had. Banoffee Pie & cream for dessert again it was better than any other I’ve tried. Lovely atmosphere, service time felt right for the number of tables eating and the price was reasonable. Would recommend 100%

First visit to this lovely little restaurant to celebrate 🍾 both Mother’s Day and my wife's 60th birthday and we were not disappointed! The setting in the window table with background music and plenty of space was perfect. We ate off the a la carte menu and we both had three courses complimented by a bottle of fizz. Each course was food heaven and the service was exceptional so we will be returning for the Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday in April. Thank you
