Lovely place very busy for Sunday lunches and this meant the kitchen were under pressure as our meal took to long to arrive and lacked flavour and meat over cooked, otherwise this would have been a 5☆ rating

Service was good, no waiting and service with a smile. Food was OK, but I was expecting better for the price.

I took my friend she had never been before as the day was so nice it was a good drive. We had a great time.

The Sunday Roast and the Smoked haddock was excellent so 5 star for that but the negatives are , charged £3.95 for a bottle of water which you don't realise that's it chargeable till you read the bottom of the menu but did not get the menu and we had opened the water considering the food is expensive it's a bit underhanded you should be asked . Plus strictly no small portion or light bite my partner only eats a small lunch We were not asked if everything was ok till we asked for the bill and the staff did not seem welcoming We had the crab cone which you have to see the size to belive its so small Wine is also on expensive side In all nice lunch felt overcharged so no tip

Love this place. Great choice of beers. Lots of space inside and out. Lovely place to have a pint in the sun in the extensive beer gardens.

Had lunch myself and my family, food was terrible and cold. The owner “Craig” was very abrupt. A lady called Nicola was very rude also, please AVOID!!!

Let’s turn a corner from our most recent experience of this place: It’s so sad to see a pub, a eating place and social centre slip so badly, My wife and I brought old friends here for a midweek evening meal and how poor the whole place felt, dirty, cold, unkempt and even the public toilets provided really run down. This pub needs more than just a bit of TLC; The whole place needs to turn a corner

Shocking food,service and hygiene. Wait times unreal even though nearly empty. Dirty glasses etc. even for a marstons this was poor

Great little country pub, had a lovely family meal, great options and vegan options too, service was brilliant and the meal was gorgeous! Happy family all round! We will be back soon

We went on a sunny morning and sat in the garden.....we thought it was very welcoming and food was good and coffee was hot....(been to chain of coffee shops in past who serve luke warm coffee!!!!!) Very pleasant....

Went here with good review from a friend, whom came along with us for her birthday treat. I thought altho, it wasn't too busy we waited at least 20 mins+ before our meal arrived . We all ordered the ' Roasted lamb rump and mini pie duo' asked how we would like the lamb cooked etc. When the meal ( finally) arrived didn't understand why asked, how we would like our lamb cooked.. It looked like the meat had been shared between the 3 of us. Can only describe it as 3 small round clumps on each plate didn't even resemble a roasted lamb rump. Therefore a little disappointed with main meal.

Can not fault the watering can cafe and bistro. The food is great, have had both breakfasts and lunches and are always delicious. Quick service and friendly staff. Highly recommended

had a lovely night with the family at the local and thought id treat myself. if you want to DINE at hell on earth this is the place to be. waited an hour and half for a single chicken and rice. the service was terrible. to my surprise they kept burping and farting in and around food. i looked in the back at the bloke who was making the food continuously kept re arraigning his trousers and to what looked liked he was having a cheeky scratch with no gloves while handling the food. They were also listening to 'SKEEYEE by SexyRed' & sang all the words (including the n-word) while my young daughter was present, who now is now repeating what she's heard, she's non stopped called the dog racial slurs since getting home. My other son was stranded at the bottom of establishment due to the lack of accessibility. My child who had to sit on the floor due to lack of chairs available and the owner ridiculed him & mentioned his 'vast waistline' and kept calling him 'greedy belly' and shoved a chicken ball into my sons mouth. Then, as I went to pay (CASH ONLY btw) I didn't have any cash, so the owner launched my fried rice over the counter & ridiculed my son one again.
