Our visit here was very nice , the food was very taste and the I the white mocca was lovely, the bit that counts was all good but why do companies think it’s ok to refuse to take cash it’s our legal currency and they have no right to refuse it!! I think they should review there policy on it, it’s put me off coming again.

Best Chinese takeaway in Beverley. Two starters, four mains, one rice - just over £35. Value for money as they aren't on apps etc, and the food is always good with quick delivery.

Had a Christmas dinner and pudding. It was delicious. Very hot, tasteful and well presented. The lady who served us was polite and helpful. The Shores centre was lovely and hot. Would really recommend getting a meal here, prices are low but food is top notch.

After booking a table we walked from the seaside camp site in red hot weather and two little dogs with us to be totally ignored by 2 young girls I had to ask several times were they would like me to sit and there response was anywhere There wasn’t much shade but I did find a table out the back (not the best) I then had to go ask for a menu and tell them we’re we were sat Minutes later we did get the restaurant menu that looked very nice but wanted something lighter so again went to ask for cafe menu Waited because it does say table service Then told order at counter. Again was totally ignored no one seemed to want our business When I did eventually order they didn’t have anything left what we wanted so we walked away very very unhappy with the experience and definitely disappointed ( one last thing I hope the lady I think the manager managed to sell one of her pieces of art because she seemed to be more interested in that than serving people )

First Time Trying This Chinese I tried one of the munch boxes and I would definitely recommend

The staff are always friendly and polite and the food is always delicious. I appreciate that they take extra care with dietary requirements. My girlfriend is vegetarian but I'm not, so they either prepare hers first or change their gloves, knives etc after preparing mine. They also have a decent selection of choices too.

Never usually have fish and chips unless I'm at the coast, they are very often a disappointment. The King Fryer is an exception!!! The fish and chips are delicious, the batter is crisp and not too thick. The fish, firm and white. They also make fish patties which are gorgeous. The owner and staff are lovely and the shop is immaculately clean.

Popped in yesterday 14/6/23 for lunch, opted for cold fish platter. FANTASTIC! Smoked raw/ fresh salmon, prawns, crab pattie, brown crusty bread, butter, salad, chips. This was all meant for one! We shared it! Everything tasted fresh, perfect. Served by friendly attentive staff. I rate this place the BEST EATERY IN BEVERLEY. Much Respect to all concerned. Mothers day: 30/3/25 Forgot to book a Mums day Table!! and it was so busy....However not a problem...The lovely Sarah found us a table, promptly took our orders. The food arrived ( brekkie menu) smashed advocado/ Cheriton, etc on toast, scrambled eggs on toast, sausage sarnies, bacon eggs...for 6 diners....FANTASTIC! hot, tasty food. Popped in for a drink. Very warm and welcoming staff. Pub was very clean and drinks very reasonably priced. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely lunch today. Staff were really nice. Really nice tomato & lentil soup, thick, hot & tasty! Had it with a cheese scone which was huge and lovely & tasty. My friend had cake & coffee which hit the spot needing something sweet.
