My husband and I popped in for our coffee and almond croissant which is made on the premises by Petra and wow they are absolutely delicious, worth a visit

Excellent establishment, very warm and welcoming, great food and drinks and the staff are very friendly. Also happy to see Petra behind the counter, also happy to see you and makes you feel very welcome and nothing is a problem at all. Makes great conversation one of the reasons why I visit this establishment a lot. .would highly recommend.

Lovely coffee and selection of sweet and savoury snacks. Outside tables and dog friendly inside and out. Nice atmosphere

Nice food, but only 1 star as they do not accept cash. The company needs to rethink this ASAP. Busy, however I wonder how many customers you loose. Do we get our food free if there is no internet connection?

very disappointed that the girl brought the coffees outside without sugar . I enquired if there was any sugar ,she said it's inside ,so I sat there for awhile thinking stupidly that she had gone back in to bring me some..no she had decided to go straight back and talk to her 3 colleagues all stood chatting behind the counter ...nobody waiting to be served at the counter ,so I passed all 4 of them doing nothing just chatting away while I went past to collect some sugar right at the back of the shop .. no customer service whatsoever ,I really think 🤔 customers are invisible these days ...we pay your wages have some respect ! ???

Absolutely love this place! My favorite place in Beverly to grab a coffee and something to eat. The pastries are so good and the goats cheese bap is delicious. Plenty of options for vegetarians. Coffee is really tasty and staff are always friendly and welcoming!

I came in on a busy Saturday, the member of staff who spoke to me was friendly, informative and very quick in completing our order. My partner was unsure on what to have but Elsie (I think her name was) quickly suggested her favourite food and it was an excellent recommendation. Great food and great service.

Excellent establishment with very friendly staff. Was greeted by a lovely woman behind the counter, I believe her name was Petra. Very friendly, chatty and smiley. My drink was perfect and was not any trouble when I asked for a top up of hot water :) Would highly recommend 👌

Ordered a chai latte and a tea. These were fine. However... No cash accepted - I believe this is discriminatory. I use a card but my friend doesn't. Service was without a smile, or even a spoken word - drink tray just pushed towards me. ONE toilet for 70- 80 customers? This functioned as the baby-change, disabled , unisex. That is a joke. Will not return. Sorry.

Great place for coffee, all food delist, freshly baked. Staff amazing, friendly, welcoming could not ask for more. Gets very busy but you can always fined a table. Would like the option of paying with cash !! One toilet not enough. !! Saying that it will not stop us going.

The Cornish Bakery is my favourite place in Beverley for a coffee and croissant. It is bright and airy and has a relaxing laid back vibe. The staff are friendly and the service is great and you are always made to feel welcome. The pastries are always fresh and the coffee is always good. I would definitely recommend a visit!

The staff here are amazing. If your worried about been disabled and feeling left out. DON'T THE STAFF ARE AMAZING. And accept you as you. As they did with my son. In his wheelchair. Took the time acknowledge him. Which alot of people don't.when people are disabled or in wheelchairs. HONESTLY GO TO BEVERLEY BRILLIANT BRILLIANT STAFF pasties are spot on. As well. Staff are better than the food.

I enjoyed a big Chicken Tikka Pasty for a warming lunch: delectable, firm pastry and a hot filling. It was worth it for the price.

Dropped in for a drink and cake at 2 pm with friends. No cake and very few sweet options. Ordered a fruit scone, only to be told they do not accept cash, so I cancelled my order. I shall not be setting foot in Cornish Bakery again. SAVE CASH IN THE UK!

This is a lovely bakery in the centre of Beverley, a lovely and very pretty market town in the Riding of East Yorkshire. When I am in town visiting relatives, this is my go-to spot for a morning coffee and pastry. The cappuccini are properly made (not a watery slurry). I do appreciate the fact that they've been trained well. The pasties are delicious and a good size. I've had a few of the sweet variety as well as some of the savoury. All delicious. You won't be disappointed. My photos are from a few recent visits in Sept and Nov 2023. I would give a 4 out of 5 for service - not because of the serving girls ability or attitude, because that has always been excellent, but for the company's ethos of not taking cash any more. In my opinion, a big mistake with a bakery/cafe of this type. I'm a strong supporter the ''Don't Kill Cash'' movement. Highly recommended cafe/bakery in Beverley, East Yorkshire.

the coffee here is really good quality and the cakes on offer look delicious, my only complaint is that it is cold! the door was propped open when the wanted to close and it made it very uncomfortable and unenjoyable.

Went for some lunch and this place is really fantastic! Freshly made food each day, coffee is really good and the service is fab. We had a chocolate twist, tortilla, feta swirl and 4 Natas that all went down a treat They don't take cash so if your one of those people against that than just avoid this place but you are really missing out if you do!

Lovely pastries, service and coffee, shame it has been overrun by smelly (sometimes barking) dogs. Cash should be a choice since we still tender with this stuff and some people do not like using card! So- great for dog owners and card users but probably won't return.
