my other half is a board game nerd. I booked him a birthday party months ago which we had today. It was fantastic, the owner and partner were fantastic, atmosphere was lovely and we managed to fit in lots of our family and friends. Accommodations were made to the best of their abilities and there was a game for everyone. The staff were lovely and tried hard to be helpful. We were all very happy! A fantastic job done. Thank you!

Since Zaika changed hands, the service is beyond terrible. We've given them several chances, but takeaway is always horribly late and often with items missing. Takeaway 2 weeks ago took 2 hours! Went to collect tonight - 40 minutes after the stated time and still stood here waiting. No free bhaji with delivery anymore and there's always something missing from the order. Such a shame as the food is lovely. Tonight was last chance saloon and it's been a big fat fail.

I have been here a few times now. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely food, very good prices. The staff & owner are lovely and very accommodating to anything that anyone can think of to eat, as long as she has it in she will do a combination usually. The full English I can highly recommend, cheap, and a very large portion for it. I personally think that it's £1-2 too cheap and that if it was me I would put it up by that given the other places I have been to are usually £2-3 more expensive. But that's just my opinion of course. The flavoured lattes are nice as well. The cappuccino's are to die for. I don't know what else to put, but I highly recommend this place. Closed on Sundays and Mondays but open the rest of the week so pop along. You won't be disappointed. (I sound like I'm writing an advert, hahaha, I'm not but it's a true review from me).

Well I went very early on Saturday morning. The staffing so lovely but the pies is not proper Tues. I m cook myself it is look like its been trough meat dryner. TASTE not great at all if u on hangover it will do for U! The pastry cheap puff pastry n feellike babe food if u know what I mean. Even though the staff was talking about other client that they have earlier had laugh about. Robin to pit my rubish out either..

Pub previously closed as a Wetherspoons has been purchased by the Mountain Pub Co and has reopened for business. Very busy when we visited clean and presentable with a reasonably priced pint

Very comfortable stay at this beautiful traditional hotel..with my elderly father and very well behaved dog. Its currently being refurbished so the bar and restaurant are not open but they provided an inclusive delicious continental breakfast..and with Weatherspoons next door and many other restaurants and quaint bars in town it was no bother. Easy convenient clean and very helpfull friendly service...could even see Studley Pike from both our rooms, Would stay here again..

Reasonably good Chinese takeaway but charging 10p extra for the bag that you would have to put food into anyway. Really !!???

Total rubbish and that’s what I think on a good day Hey have a laugh and try and ring them You’ll not get through as the number is not recognised The place itself is grotty having walked there and I wouldn’t like to eat anything they cook there Pure bad

First time eating at the cafe we always eat at the cafe in the garden centre. First and last time We ordered the carvery very poor. The food was a best warm not hot. There was only 2 of us and the meals was brought out separately I waited for my husbands to arrive. I didn’t understand why they was not bought out together on a tray Service slow and not very friendly We have always had lovely meals and service across the road Will definitely not be returning and will stick to the other one

AVOID TWO HOURS wait for a 45 min order, speaking to them twice on the phone... being promised a call back - twice - which didn’t happen.... only for the order to be wrong... Chicken burger instead of beef burger, no BBQ sauce on a BBQ chicken pizza, cold chips..... Both pizzas flaccid to day the least: Worst takeaway I’ve had. I certainly won’t be ordering from there again...

Always the best pizzas and very friendly and kind delivery drivers
