Great service nice setting good beer

Wetherspoons, it is what it is. Good value, nothing too fancy. Shame it's closing soon.

Cheap and cheerful. Very clean always busy but plenty of seating. Warm and welcoming.

Bog standard food and unsightly views. Staff are friendly. Has a bicycle parking rack outside, overall appears to be a pleasant pub.. With a beer garden.

We had ham egg and chips with tea for two and it didn't come to £10 ! We were well impressed .Clean and the service was fast too. We are definitely going back next time we are in Todmorden.

Me and my partner came in yesterday. And we’re normally fine when we eat here. I’m pregnant; and I was craving a curry. So I got a curry, and my partner got some chicken bites for starters. Come today, since eating there, ever since last night I haven’t been too well. My stomach is spinning, I don’t think the chicken was cooked properly, because I’m not very well. And as a pregnant woman, me not being well can harm my baby… Don’t think we will be coming back for food, due to us now having food poisoning. Absolutely livid!

A superb Wetherspoons. Pity it's on the market.

Cold day and the place was not much warmer. Went to sit upstairs it was really chilly. A little scruffy too . Been in many Weatherspoon and all others beat this one.

Staff very friendly, food always fast and hot, service with a smile, cheap and cheerful. Shame it's closing down as there's nothing else nearby that offers the same food and drink for the price.

It's a nice place, sometimes it's a little busy for me, however the food is consistent and service is pretty good in my opinion, servers are helpful and friendly.

Absolutely bad.... Took 3 minutes to cut through the steak and had to get my money back..... Don't go there... Awful.

Shame its for sale, not sure what they'll do with all the microwaves.

Always go in for a breakfast. Always served pretty quickly. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

A very nice building with a history dating back almost 300 years. I had the Wiltshire ham and eggs with chips and a very good ale for £6.28, and refillable coffee for a bargain 99p. Millie is an enthusiastic bartender.

Typical spoons venue, cheap beer and food (although foods very hit and miss). Nice central location with seating out front and back.

Food was edible at least, very strange bar staff. Didn't really get the speaking in another language but wasn't over the top, however was very slow.

A very friendly and characterful pub with very helpful and accommodating staff; despite being busy I was served swiftly and with good humour and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Shout out to Abbie for letting me leave my luggage with them while I explored Todmorden! Would recommend, would definitely visit again. Many thanks!

We visited on a Sunday morning. The staff were very busy. However they we very helpful and polite. The actual pub was in need of the tables clearing. Overhaul a 4.

Gourmet sirloin steak, chips, peas, mushroom, tomato and peppercorn sauce with a pint under £15, bargain.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. We ordered our food and drink, 10 mins later our food arrived, we finished our food and still our drinks hadn't arrived. We asked a waiter and he said "you have to wait. We are busy" and walked away. 10 mins later, he came back and cleared 2 tables, still no drinks. I'd had enough, I walked to the bar where the deputy manager was serving, explained and got our drinks immediately with no apology. We will never go to this Wetherspoons again.

You know what you're getting with Weatherspoons but was pleasantly surprised by the burgers we had! They were really tasty, and I would definitely recommend it.

Cheap drinks but the food will have you on the toilet for at least half an hour

Horrible place smells of dirty old men. Please don't take children here swearing constantly my 6 year old daughter had to endure this whilst having food we left without eating out meal ! Totally unacceptable! Management are a joke. Let's hope this is the next wetherspoons to close!

Great 'spoons. Another unique carpet. Pizza and chips are as good as every other Wetherspoon. Try the curry sauce, it's decent! Would recommend a visit.

Seven of us just walked in but got a table and within a minute a member of staff cleared and wiped table down. We each ordered our food at bar and 10/15 minutes later we had it in front of us. Nicely served and hot! Good atmosphere and service

Beautifully architecturally restored pub! Wetherspoons have done a great job. I had the small plate chicken tikka masala, whilst my friend had the small fish & chips. Both had a cuppa (tea & coffee, bottomless cup).

Popped in on the way back from a run out to Hebden Bridge, just before Friday dinner. Plenty of room on the ground floor and upstairs and has a lovely terraced area at the back 🔙. Lovely oldy worldy with plenty of old pictures and history on the walls. Very well staffed and very welcoming, loved the food 🍲 and drink, top marks.

Really nice pub in Todmorden west Yorkshire near railway station,on 2 levels,

Was up to now a regular user coming from Rochdale, staff were rushed off their feet, and because of that got several of the items of what we ordered incorrect ( but I don't blame them) ordered what I normally order( well similar to empire state burger, not on menu anymore?) And lacks a couple of things like chip bucket and salad garnish ( I know these are little things but left dish suffering from lack lustre ( hope it's not cutbacks and the Ukraine influencing Witherspoon's?

Nice pub pleasant staff, the food was basic (cheap) my burger was beyond well done 🙄 but like I say its cheap 👌🏼👍🏼 I will call again but try something else on the menu.

Friendly bar staff, log fire to sit by in the winter, food and drinks follow the Whetherspoon standards.

I have been here lots of times and its always quite busy. There is a young member of staff called Abby, she is so friendly and polite, always smiling and nothing is to much trouble for her, a really hard worker. I work in retail and if Abby was a member of my team I would be over the moon. I hope wetherspoons in Todmorden do a staff recognition. she is a GEM and an asset to any company Keep up the good work.👏👏👏

Well done, what a fantastic building, even retained great big pillows, The gorgeous fireplace is so inviting. The staff allso need a pat on the back.

I like wether spoons great for customers who don't want alcohol , (unlike me ) tea /coffee on tap free after first cup .
