Can’t really say yes as it was closed at 10:45am Saturday. Ahh now it’s open ,11:30am and good service! Enticing cheesecake patisserie freshly baked they said.

Excellent family run restaurant fronted by Gino and his sister, Alfonso , their dad in the kitchen, food ,service superb, highly recommend.

Grest atmosphere and fantastic customer service. Throughly enjoyed the beef bergionan pie. Very tasty and full of meat. Fab catch up for my friends 60th x

We got married here in 2024, and have had drinks and afternoon teas in the bar, and food in the restaurant and bistro. The service is always impeccable and the food is excellent. We LOVE Manor House and cannot say enough good things about it!

We keep going back! The staff are all very friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere. There always seems to be lots of people there and we book in advance (on line is easy) They bring you a bread roll or mini baguette with butter before your meal which is a nice touch The food is lovely and you get exactly what it says on the menu… no silly sprigs of green or dustings of herbs or salad, just the food! I usually get the Calzone and the garlic bread is thin and crispy with a tomato drizzle and light cheese topping, totally Italian. The sauces are full of flavour and very morish. Everything comes perfectly cooked and arrives swiftly and they’re very reasonably priced as well - Bargain!

We have ordered takeaway several times from Viet Bistro. Menu is grouped well. Each dish you can choose meat or tofu. Being plant based eaters this is a real plus. The summer rolls with peanut sauce are amazing. The pho is great & you get a large portion. Coconut sizzling is to die for. Both curries are good. Mango lotus salad is very good. Would really recommend you give it a try.

Very friendly staff but much too noisy. Food okay.

The pub is fantastic, absolutely packed with really happy friendly people and a lot of hanpumps on. Unfortunately that's when i noticed they were all Ossett beers (I really don't like them at all) apart from one, White Rat, which everyone seemed to be drinking, and was recommended to me by regular and was spot on.

Overall disappointing as a beautiful building, but it stops there, i arrived in the evening, bed room was very cold as heating was off, took ages for room to warm up after turing on the rad., breakfast was lovely but staff seated people based on profiling..good tables went to well dressed people or people with titles..the rest were directed towards the side tables

Our recent stay at The Minster Hotel, York was very comfortable indeed. The staff were exceptional, especially our breakfast waiter Stuart, they couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I liked the little touches like the fancy biscuits, tea, coffee and milk as much as you wanted. The location was perfect, just a stones throw from The Minster, Shambles and Viking Museum. There were also plenty of great places to eat during our stay. I would not hesitate in my recommendation of this hotel.

Beautiful food and friendly staff! Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu
