We keep going back! The staff are all very friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere. There always seems to be lots of people there and we book in advance (on line is easy) They bring you a bread roll or mini baguette with butter before your meal which is a nice touch The food is lovely and you get exactly what it says on the menu… no silly sprigs of green or dustings of herbs or salad, just the food! I usually get the Calzone and the garlic bread is thin and crispy with a tomato drizzle and light cheese topping, totally Italian. The sauces are full of flavour and very morish. Everything comes perfectly cooked and arrives swiftly and they’re very reasonably priced as well - Bargain!

Tip top. A rich ragù. What more do you want?

This place was a real find. Delicious pasta and dessert. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Lovely restaurant can't wait to go again

We went with family as it was my nephews 30th birthday 🎂 I had the mozzarella, and it was very yummy instead of several small pieces. I had one large piece with a creamy tomato and basil sauce, and then I had the 10oz sirloin steak with fries. I asked for blue cheese sauce, but it was not very blue cheesy, very nice though, the staff and management were very polite and excellent at there jobs

Gluten free options were not available, even with pre booking. Given chips, again I believe these were not gluten free.

The food was ok, not bad, not brilliant. Personally I felt it was a bit overpriced for the quality and quantity: for example the large head on the two beers we had; and the small side mixed salad, which to me looked like the rocket salad minus parmesan. The environment is nice, but the table was a bit cramped for two people. The serving staff were pleasant and attentive.

Great restaurant, I had to give compliments to the chef which I rarely do, they have talent in the back!! I got trio of fish while not actually all being fish one is actually of crustaceans the three sea food parts were cooked to perfection and the tomatoes sauce they were accompanied with was absolutely fantastic not too salty not too sweet not too tasteless. It was literally a food orgasm. Furthermore, I rang up as me and my partner are very unorganised. So luckily they had a table free which we had to release by 7.15. It was about 7pm when we got our mains so I was a bit worried on time but they came to the table to update us that we had until 7.30 as they had moved things around which was great that firstly they let us know and secondly they were thinking about us!! I did have one issue where they waiter had given me a beer but hadn't collected the empty glass it wasn't until later that another waiter had to do it for them but I won't mark them down for it as it was very busy. Will defiantly be returning and with friends too! Kudos to the chefs 👏 they make that place special.

We went on Saturday for our wedding. Right from booking until we left the owner was extremely helpful and ensured everything was perfect. All the meals were beautiful and cooked exactly as we had requested. The whole team bent over backwards to make sure our day was special. All the guests have commented on the beautiful food and how special it all was. We cannot thank them all enough.

A really large group of us went tonight for a family birthday. The staff couldn’t have done anymore, the food was amazing (which it always is) nothing was too much bother included splitting the bill between us all. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.

We arrived unplanned as a party of 8. They were more than willing to push 2 tables together for us. The food was absolutely excellent and the service incredibly polite and attentive. I would highly recommend and attend again.

Looking for a bite to eat and happened across Julios. Brilliant, food, service and atmosphere - with an unexpected bonus of 2 courses for £18!!

Came in with my family and they discrimanated me for not being posh and because we didn't order food when they wanted. Terrible service and terrible behaviour and how they treated us. Telling me other customers dont want to look at people like me even though it was empty during the busiest time of the day.. i would never go here or recoomend anyone to go here

I had a lovely experience here. The staff were attentive, food delicious, and the atmosphere suited me fine (it was quiet). [update 1] two years later and it's still excellent. Best not wait another two years.

Me and my boyfriend go quite frequently here. The service is always as quick as they can be and everything is always served with a smile. The food is always delicious and always piping hot. You can tell that it is cooked fresh.

I've never been before. I went for a meal with my good lady for her birthday. £18 set meal. (No, I am not tight) just made sense to pick that menu it was fantastic, and the starter was lovely goats cheese. Main was steak cooked to perfection. We did have a desert. I had the apple and caramel pie with ice cream again, fantastic The staff were very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be going back

The best Italian Restaurant we have visited First class food, service & atmosphere to say we were a group of 26 of us we all got served at the same time and the staff were superb. Definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

Fabulous pizza, friendly staff and cosy restaurant.

I went here for a birthday treat. The steak and vegetables were cooked lovely, but I thought the starter of meatball could've been done with a bit more seasoning in the meatballs, the sauce was lovely. The tomato pizza bread was amazing. I'm glad I had some of that to try also.

Booked for our daughter’s birthday. The food was fantastic, salmon pasta, carbonara and pizzas and all were lovely. The staff are really friendly and there was no rush. Definitely worth a visit.

Great service, tasty food. Christmas eve booking, and the restaurant managed to find another seat for an extra guest at the last minute. The staff were excellent, really attentive without being obtrusive. The food is straightforward Italian, tasty pizza, pasta and some good secondi options. There's a decent wine list, but the house red was excellent value so we stuck with that.

Went for Christmas day meal, my wife and me. Well organised, very nice food. Staff all very friendly and helpful. We had Christmas day meal there last year, and was very happy with everything so booked again. Definitely not disappointed, just as good. Had other meals there, and always very good quality. Not a major problem really, but music could have been a bit louder. Could hardly hear it, in fact not at all quite a lot of the time. It would have seemed more of a party atmosphere if had been louder. With it being Christmas. Definitely would recommend for a very nice, excellent service at any time.

Lovely freshly cooked tasty food. Everyone's plate was well presented. Pre ordered as part of a large group but felt the service was a little slow. Had to order and pay for drinks individually at the bar and payment via party booker was unexpected, so a bit messy at the end. Food was excellent, so definitely will eat there again. No vegan options. Unsuitable for wheelchair users.

Julio's has been in Halifax for over 17 years with the same dedicated owner, that alone speaks for itself. Julio has the same compassion and dedication to his restaurant as he had when he first opened, standards are high and the staff are professional and pleasant along with excellent food and drink. Check out the early bird menu (Before 6.30 pm). Book before you visit to avoid disappointment, when I was there on Saturday evening it was packed, so book early!

Only the second visit but very pleasant

We were a party of eight, and everybody enjoyed their choice from the menu. The wine was also of good quality. A modern and re-furbished since my last visit. Excellent ambiance. Will definately be going back.

Couldn't fault this place at all. Food was perfect, service was friendly. 10/10. If you love cheese, I 100% recommend the mozzarella starter.

Booked by accident, but what a fortunate mistake! Just wonderful. Made welcome from the start to a vibrant and extensive restaurant. Fab menu with a wide range of Italian stables and some specials for the day. Service and food were prompt and the dishes delicious 🤌🏼 Pretty reasonable for the three of us for three courses, drinks and a tip...just short of £110. Pretty good these days. Definitely on my list to return, not by mistake next time! 🇮🇹

Very nice restaurant. We were here for business as part of a group of 10. The staff were great and the food very nice. In fairness, I was tired, so probably too much so to enjoy it as much as I should. I would recommend.

Best lasagna I’ve ever had. The servings were just right and the desert, Chocolate Fudge Cake with Ice Cream was just the right amount of sweetness. I would go here again in the future, without a doubt. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere was very classy. Felt like a fine dining experience.

Although the food was nice, I found it slightly bland. Beautifully presented though. The staff, I did find to be rude and a little abrupt and made me feel uncomfortable. Not a place I will be returning to again through choice

Retirement do for a friend therefore a large party. Food was delicious and plentiful. Service was a bit slow between courses but everyone recieved their food at the same time. Many of us had the set menu which has a wide choice of dishes, something for every taste. I think they were short staffed, still would definitely recommend.

The restaurant had lovely food, with good portion sizes for a reasonable price. Service was prompt, and staff were very quick with ordering our drinks and meals. We also received a free bread and butter basket as we waited for our mains. It was quite busy at the time (Friday evening), so I would recommend booking in advance. Pricing is average for an Italian restaurant, and you will probably spend around £20 per person

Good quality Italian food. Great atmosphere and attentive and friendly staff. Just be aware that soft drinks are very expensive so avoid!! I would recommend. Parking nearby. Clean and tidy toilets. Keep up the good work

The menu doesn't seem to be the same but a good meal all the same. Calamari and Pate for starters with a cheese garlic bread then tagliatelle and an off menu Fillet Rossini for mains. Not what the place used to be but still worth a visit.

Main course was nice the dessert was awful, to be fair they took the money off the bill

6 of us dined here on the 24th of March. The service from start to finish wasfirst class as was the food and drink both of which were well priced. Lovely restaurant with great atmosphere. Look forward to another visit.

Came for a family dinner... Received a warm and friendly welcome. The menu has lots to choose from. I had calamari to start, calzone for my main course and profiteroles for dessert. The portions were plentiful and the food tasted amazing. Service was great and the team very attentive. Would recommend.

Grande locale, caldo ed accogliente. Le foto alle pareti riprendono alcune città italiane, ti senti di essere "a casa".. Abbiamo mangiato la pizza (buona) ed il dolce (discreto il tiramisù, buono il brownie). Se avessimo avuto più tempo avremmo mangiato anche dell'altro.. ecco questo è l'unico appunto che devo fare: l'orario di chiusura (21:30).. troppo presto per chi, come me, è abituata ad uscire tardi la sera per cenare.

It's a genuinely friendly, non pretentious place to eat. Jeans and a T shirt or a smart suit, it doesn't matter, everyone is welcome. The food has always been great, a good choice on the specials board if you want something different. Personally I love the Calzone Pizza.

Great meal for all 5 of us and very friendly staff however I think service was having an off night. Had to ask for the menus, wrong starter arrived for one of us, main course arrived and a side order didn't of which we had to ask for (kindly deducted from the final bill). Then when finished and been sat a while we had to ask for the bill. As I mentioned earlier, bit of an off night as we have been here before and it was perfect so do not take this as a norm.
