Cooper Kitchen & Bar in Calderdale

We had a celebration of life get together here. Gina was brilliant in sorting out the details. The staff on the day provided excellent service and the food was lovely and plentiful. We were provided with take away boxes for the party. I have to say I was really impressed.

The food was amazing The wife had tapas King prawn and fish. I had steak with wedges. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly l would recommend coopers to anyone. We will definitely be back.

Quality food and service , fab modern , clean restaurant with an industrial , vintage twist. Tapas was great value, portion size very good. Can not fault at all and I am usually picky!

First time here and we really enjoyed could t fault the food at all the Sunday lunch was excellent and very good value for money it would have been better if the beef had been slightly pink but the veg gravy and Yorkshires were spot on. The mash was lovely and creamy our only criticism would be the service. Whilst it was ok it could have been a little more friendly professional and attentive but we definitely weren’t put off coming again we will be back

First time at Coopers, what a fantastic place and well worth the price. The food was lovely, drinks were top notch unlike other places we've been. Can't fault this place at all, the girls serving us were amazing friendly and on the ball. Thank you for a great afternoon.

Wow what a little diamond in the little streets of elland, the food here was off the scale, even our children polished their plates, the staff were fab, and surroundings were nostalgic memories from my childhood, drinks were of amazing, choice but stuck to a good old red stripe , well done kadee who served us xxx

Found this place due to local Facebook page, wow that was a great find, what a brilliant atmosphere, families out dining, a really extensive menu all marked up with GF options, all staff were so enthusiastic, the chef went the extra mile and adjusted dishes to cater for my lactose intolerance. We opted for Tapas and they were very generous portions, some great accompaniments and simply amazing. The burgers that passed our eyes en route to another table looked really good. Prices are great, staff are greater!!! But the icing on the cake was their live music line up. Great to have a local venue at this standard without having to go to the big names and prices in Leeds which are not a patch on this place.

Great place to eat and drink! Can’t praise the service enough (thanks Ellie). Came for an afternoon meal with the family and fell in love with the retro vibe and excellent food. Kids loved the cheese toastie, which are almost adult portion size, and the adult sandwiches were tasty and filling. My wife had the brisket on sourdough and she went all When Harry Met Sally - which definitely means we’ll be returning. Highly recommended.

After playing musical chairs catering for an elderly relative, Ellie came up trumps and found us a table where we could all be seated together. The food at the restaurant was delicious and I especially like the personal touch with giving 'Mum's' a cupcake each. This was very thoughtful of the proprieters. We will definitely be back again and to listen to the band next time. Thank you wonderful staff for making our Mothers Day a lovely visit.

Grabbed lunch here the other day while at work and it was superb. Pick your sandwich and choose from a side of soup or swap to fries. Lots of choice including freshly made burgers and pizza and a childrens menu with everything freshly prepared. Busy at lunchtimes which is always a really good sign. Tapas menu in the evenings which is really tasty with plenty choice. The bar downstairs is cosy and friendly. Lots of local history on display. Staff are friendly and attentive. Brilliant addition to Elland centre.

Three of us enjoyed an evening of Tapas and Burger. A busy Friday evening but nothing too much trouble for the attentive staff. Our food was presented hot and tasty. Coopers is decorated with art and local memorabilia. Such a joy for Elland. Value for money excellent!

Amazing food and more importantly the staff were great, knew the food and made recommendations that we all loved. Great atmosphere in the bar afterwards too.

Went out for a few drinks, we ended up staying in coopers all night, we had a fabulous evening . Food was some of the best I've had. The entertainment was absolutely brilliant. We will definitely go back.

Well, a local told us we would struggle to find food in Elland. All I can say is, they must not get out much. This place is stunning. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, atmosphere, memorabilia and super food served...

The food selection is brilliant and the duck croquettes are second to none. Great local beer on tap and the cocktails are dangerous 👌🏼

Had a great time here with mates Really chilled and relaxed spot for a drink. Good selection of beers and nice warm atmosphere. Didn't eat but the food looked awesome. Defo returning with my better half. Highly recommend.

Went to coopers bar just before Christmas and had a brilliant night..the atmosphere is fantastic and the food is out of this world..the staff are friendly and the decor is out of this world..I highly recommend to anyone to give this place a visit

Visited for Sunday lunch which was delicious. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are available on the menus as well as a fab children's menu. Desserts to die for. The children's loaded milkshakes from the bar are amazing!

We went on Saturday night the tapas was excellent the staff very welcoming atmosphere and decor excellent. After the meal we went down stairs to watch the entertainment the atmosphere was great we will definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family.

Best night out I’ve had in a long time. Went for some tapas first upstairs and the food and service was amazing. Then went downstairs for a few drinks and to watch live music, all staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great.
