Been visiting here atleast once a month for years but the latest visit left us very disappointed. Usually we order 3 regular fish and chips but due to the menu board saying only small and jumbo fish available i ordered 3 small, only to notice just after ordering it states in very small writing 'regular when available' so i asked if they had regular and could i change my order, they had literally only managed to serve the person behind me it was that quick. The request was passed on to the guy frying and wow to say he didn't seem pleased would be an understatement, because he had already put the small fish in the fryer? Awkward. Either you can change the order or not no need to act like i was trying to con the place. Thankfully the girl who was serving me said she could alter the order as people came in and ordered small fish and asked me to give it a minute or two. A few minutes passed and she called me over and asked for a further £13? I asked why is it that much for 3 regular over 3 small fish and she said they are jumbo? I said i asked for regular and she said regular are jumbo? I said i didn't want 3 jumbo as we have had jumbo previously and they are usually very big? So i said I'd take 2 jumbo as we could just share the fish out. All good until we came to share out the fish, we have been to this fish ship many times and i can confidently say the fish where no bigger than the usual regular (one maybe smaller) and no way jumbo! I understand people can have off days and i also understand prices everywhere have gone up but selling regular fish as jumbo resulting in 2 normal portions of fish and chips for £30 is way overpriced. Servers tried their best though. Such a shame.
Visited for the first time today with my sister. What a lovely little gem of a place. Nice, friendly, relaxed place to go & eat. We only had one main course plus a drink which was fine for us. Will definitely recommend to others.
We went on Friday night for food and live music. The food was gorgeous, the staff were brilliant and the live music was amazing. Such a fantastic atmosphere.
First visit although we live at Ingleton and remember this being a Little Chef many years ago.
Very busy.
Three adults to feed so we chose cream scones and egg sandwich. All served very fresh, fries with the sandwich were hot and crispy.
Scones were a good size crispy on the outside soft and fluffy in the middle, suggest homemade.
Lovely latte coffee hot and milky but still tasting of coffee.
Will recommend to friends and we will return as a family and perhaps try a meal next time.
Small menu but good choices and also daily specials to choose from. Reasonably priced.
Thank you
We enjoyed our visit.

The cinema is good, the staff are friendly, the prices are absolutely ridiculous, the glass is always filthy, the entrance always seems grubby, but my biggest gripe is the advertising of some events & limitless membership, my wife & I have just been to see Six, we already pay £40 a month, then we've just been charged a further £42.50 to see this show, billed as a live event? Well, it's not, it's a recording of a live event, its no different to any other film, ww got more enjoyment out of the Luther Vandross film, again something we had to pay for, but a fraction of the cost. When we enquired before going in, & just because the stage show had just started doing the tour again, the explanation was, " it's because it's a live event, fair then to assume it's something to do with the new tour?? Nope, it's not, it's a rip-off! is what it is, & whilst a good show, certainly not worth £42.50 to see a show, just like any other show or film just because it's popular, it's no wonder cinemas are failing if this is their policy.
This was our first visit and will definitely not be our last.
We were greeted with a very warm welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. It was a very busy Saturday night around 7.30 pm, but the staff were so attentive, friendly, and treated you like family.
We were seated straight away, and our drinks order was taken. The waiter took time to go through non-alcoholic options for myself, with me being pregnant. The drinks took no more than a few minutes to arrive, and our food order was taken. Again, the waiting staff were spot on offering advice with food allergies and alternative options.
The food arrived in a very reasonable time. It was exactly as asked for. Presented beautifully, great portion sizes, cooked to each of our preferences, perfect temperature, and absolutely delicious.
Although the restaurant was extremely busy, it still kept a very intimate atmosphere and felt warm and cosy at our table for 2.
Waiting staff checked if everything was to our liking, chatted, and offered drinks top ups without any prompting from ourselves.
We opted to order desserts these again, were presented beautifully, and tasted amazing.
The whole evening was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff I can not praise enough. Yes, some might say "well they are only doing their job," but for me, it was them, their attitudes, their attentiveness, and their passion that made our whole experience what it was for us.
Can not wait to come back again 😊
