Amazing service wasn't able to come in due to my dog misbehaving they are dog friendly and offered us to takeaway the food was delicious will come back without the misbehaving dog next time

Visited Sheffield for the day and saw this place on Happy Cow so took a little walk over to check it out. We decided to get some lunch here and it did not disappoint, the menu is amazing and the food was perfectly tasty with good portion sizes. The atmosphere is lovely and I would definitely come back again.

Absolutely amazing experience at this vegan restaurant by Oli Sykes from BMTH! The food is beyond delicious—so well-seasoned and flavorful, you’d never believe it’s all vegan. Every dish is a masterpiece, with bold flavors and creative combinations that left us wanting more. The attention to detail in the presentation and taste is unmatched. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Whether you're vegan or not, this place will blow your mind. Highly recommend to anyone looking for incredible plant-based cuisine! Can't wait to visit again!

Comfortable seating and wonderful food!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a second visit to this amazing vegan eatery which offers way more than just a vibrant 100% vegan menu. This old steel mill converted restaurant now takes the style of a reformed church with a hoard of religious themed paintings and ornaments, and even aptly themed stained glassed windows! It’s a social hub with a stage for live performances and other creative activities (this time they had a figure drawing class in session!) retro arcade machines, a pool table, cushion-lined cubby holes with retro gaming and a Photo Booth in the form a of a confessional box. Plus they boast a good selection of homemade desserts and specials. After a good week, we deserved a treat and some of my work colleagues were curious when I was telling how excited I was to return here. Them being non-vegans googled the menu and were mouth wateringly surprised. One of them picking out the Hex-Mex Burger which is what I had here. A Beyond Meat patty coated in a BBQ sauce and crunchy tortilla crumb served on a bed of lettuce, salsa and guac. Topped with two cheese slices and their homemade tortilla parcels filled with their signature chilli, topped with diced jalapeños and chilli jam. The stack is sandwiched in a red Bring Me The Horizon branded brioche bun, topped with a mini panko pickle. Previously I had the “Syko” (also modelled here) which is a B12 burger served in a charcoal black bun. Topped with their smoky Syko Sauce, 2 jumbo crispy onion rings, layered with smoked Applewood cheddar cheese, lettuce,tomato and mayo. Served with a generous side of Satay Away Crispy waffle fries which are smothered in a rich peanut satay sauce, with Oumph chicken chunks, roast peppers, spring onions and a touch of sesame seeds AND (IKR!) Chick’n Tenders which is homemade seitan chicken fried in a spiced buttermilk crumb served with BBQ and Garlic Mayo. Cannot recommend this place enough and is certainly a worthy place of food worship!

Me encanta el asado de domingo de Wellington ‘beef’, estaba delicioso! Creo que este fue el mejor ‘servicio dominical’ hasta ahora 😋 El pastel de queso de manzana también estaba delicioso. Gran comida, gran servicio e incluso cuando había un problema con la factura lo ordenaron de inmediato. El personal es siempre amable y acogedor.

Este es un fabuloso restaurante vegano. Es agradable para perros, tiene música en vivo y la comida es tan buena! Sigo volviendo porque la comida es genial. Soy de Nottingham, pero vale la pena el viaje, tanta elección en la comida y tiene una pequeña zona de juego genial. Mi favorita es probablemente la hamburguesa de Mac con queso / humo santo y definitivamente el asado del domingo es para morirse. Lo mejor es que es todo vegano 🌱

Absolutely loved our visit! We booked in for my birthday, and the little touches that were made were so special and meaningful! The food was amazing and better than I even hoped for, being that I’m not vegan! 🌱 the service from the people that looked after us was also top tier! Every effort was made to makesure we were happy and enjoying our visit, without being over bearing! The restaurant itself was fantastic, and we were totally obsessed with every inch of the decor, including the Christmas additions, which we discussed whilst eating, my partner however, was in real debate about how the heck you managed to keep lights on upside down Christmas trees hanging from the roof 🤣 the gaming stations and Photo Booth are really nice touches too, and I could have happily stayed hours longer! We cannot thank the restaurant enough, and its wonderful staff, for such a magical time! We will definitely be visiting again!

If you're looking for a vegan Sunday roast, look no further!

Altas expectativas frustradas. El espacio es interesante, pero decepcionado por el servicio lento y la comida fría bastante aburrida. La salchicha estaba más caliente que el perro con papas fritas. Una salchicha que es vegana y sabe como un perrito caliente común tiene que ser ultra procesado. Un hot dog estándar es probablemente más saludable. Pobre.

LOVE this pub, it’s all vegan but you wouldn’t even be able to tell. The CBD ginger mojito mocktail is so good. And they’ve got old arcade games, PS4s (for free!), and a photo booth

La decoración estaba muy bien pensada y cubre todo el establecimiento. La comida era increíble también, todo es vegano, pero no pudimos distinguir la diferencia entre la carne normal (sinceramente pensamos que era mejor). El servicio fue increíble también. Nuestro servidor principal Katie estaba ocupado con un montón de mesas, pero nos hizo sentir especiales al mismo tiempo. Incluso trajo un brownie de cumpleaños que sabía muy bien para mi novio después de nuestras comidas principales, ya que había mencionado en la reserva que era su cumpleaños. El restaurante también se balanceaba con pequeños lugares de juego - perfecto para después de la comida para dejar que la cena se asiente. Incluso jugamos al billar y tuvimos nuestras fotos tomadas en el PhotoBooth. El personal no nos apresuró en absoluto a pesar de que estuvimos allí durante más de 3 horas en total. Sinceramente, una de las mejores experiencias gastronómicas que hemos tenido. Muchas gracias Katie y el resto del personal que nos atendió!

My favourite vegan restaurant! Couldn’t recommend more. Staff are so lovely and thoughtful. We all had the Sunday roast which was incredible. I went for my birthday and they surprised me with a brownie and a sundae! Can’t wait to go back

Used to eat here every other week, but customer service is bad. Sat waiting for the desert menu for half an hour and the blonde one in the restaurant with a fringe was sooo rude.

Paid £50 for one burger, a loaded fries and two cocktails. Not cheap in the slightest. Food was also very mediocre; not a lot of flavour, just drowned in their sauce. Paid £15 for one burger that was just a bun, a single lettuce leaf, a very thin slice of tomato, a vegan patty, a slice of cheese and an onion ring....for £15. Even Weatherspoons make more of an effort. Fries for both the burger and loaded fries were cold and stale...forget the fact that half the menu wasn't available. Sunday roasts on a Sunday but nothing left for them by 1pm? Shameful. Sunday specials that are unavailable by half way through the day. Manage your food produce better! Atmosphere was poor. Music too loud and completely off key with the aesthetic of the place, Jazz in an alt bar? Could hear my partner a metre away but was stuck listening to everybody in the immediate area shouting so they can speak to one another. Honestly, expected a lot more from this place. No service at all, left in a corner and ignored by staff. Go to one of the many other vegan places in sheffield that won't cost you £15 per dish.

Been wanting to take the Mrs to Church for ages and it didn’t disappoint! Staff were lovely, drinks were great ( we sampled a fair few) Fantastic place! Will be back again, and probably again.

Went here to celebrate 4 birthdays in one month. Fabulous atmosphere very goth and tongue in cheek. Soo friendly . Ate a wonderful Sunday lunch.

Had a lovely Sunday roast! The ‘beef’ wellington is great if you like the taste of meat (my meat eating bf loved). I had & loved the carrot wellington. We had a side of cauliflower cheese that was super bland not cheesy at all. We shared a Halloween special desert which was ok but dry, needs custard dyed with red food colouring or something. Overall, a really cool looking place and some good dishes. As a vegan it’s always good try new places and I would defo go again for the roast

Came for a birthday occasion and travelled from London, was not disappointed in the slightest. Food was amazing, as were the drinks. Atmospehere and aesthetic was on point. I had the hex burger, which if I’m being completely honest was probably the best burger I’ve ever had (and I’m not vegan myself). I’d get here if you get the slightest opportunity to visit. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the best place to go if for vegan / vegetarian food , we couldn't even finish it all with the big portions, perfect for a alt couples / night out for food and drinks

Fantastic place to eat. Love the fact that everything is vegan, so I don't have to worry. It's a lovely place to have some food or a drink & relax. There are plenty of options to choose from, all of which are yummy! It's good for kids and is also dog friendly. Service is excellent, very friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much fuss. The price of everything is very reasonable & you get a good amount. I had to have a doggy bag. I love visiting the Church - Temple of Fun 💚💚💚

Something different from Its console gaming style booths, gothic interior design and styled setting with a great selection of drinks, the vegan food always gets rave reviews but that is something we are yet to try

First time I have tried vegan food, only really came in because it's Oli Sykes restraunt, but genuinely one of the best dining experience ever. Me and my parents had a really great time, enjoyed all the references to both religious symbolism and pop culture. Loved the kool aid cocktail and the hex mex burger, and the cheese cake was a genuinely one in a million taste. The people where lovely and the WiFi is great. If in Sheffield definitely coming back, well done 👍

Every time I come here, I just love it even more. The staff are always so happy to serve and they are all quirky in their own ways, they were all adorable with my friends son too. The food though… just amazing, I got the frazzled frango burger which was delicious with a side of the mushrooms.

The food was delicious and the service was amazing, staff were all very friendly and very good at their job. Really lovely place and kindly provided a birthday brownie for my partners birthday upon request which was really special. Definitely would like to visit again, very much worth the 2 hour journey.

I travelled to Sheffield last weekend from Germany just because I wanted to visit the Dropdread Store and Temple of Fun and what should I stay... Was it worth it? YES! The whole atmosphere is unique and truly beautiful. The drink and cake were also beyond delicious and Last but not least, the service: everyone is so kind and welcoming, the experience really was so great also due to the excellent service:) cant wait to return with a friend!

Burgers are amazing but the satay chicken salad I ordered was too spicy to even finish.

The ‘meatiest’ vegan food I think I might have had! Attentive and friendly staff served us some wonderful food, the Hex Mex burger was so convincing even devoted carnivores couldn’t complain! Interesting decor and a laid-back atmosphere are the backdrop to the excellent plant-based offerings and although there was a miscommunication with our drinks order, the superb staff dealt with the issue swiftly and appropriately and it couldn’t detract from the overall experience as the rest was so good. When we’re in Sheffield again I’m certain we’ll be dropping by!

The food and drinks were nice enough, but I found the decor insensitive to people's beliefs at best and at worst downright offensive. In what world is it okay to have stickers covering Jesus' face?

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Temple of Fun with my girlfriend, her friend, and my girlfriend's brother with his friend, and we all had a fantastic time. As someone who has tried vegan food before and wasn't particularly impressed, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste here. The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making for a very enjoyable dining experience. The waitress who served us was incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. I highly recommend Temple of Fun to anyone, whether you're a vegan or just looking to try something new. This place definitely changed my perspective on vegan cuisine!

Obviously as a BMTH fan you'll love this place, the decoration, menu, everything is awesome. Everyone is really friendly and there's also extra entertainment like games, it's not exclusively a restaurant (you can also just grab a drink in the bar area). We came here for our anniversary (we don't live in the UK), and it didn't disappoint. The only downside is that the cocktails are extremely small for their price. We got a margarita and a daiquiri and the glasses are tiny and not even full, so 9£ for that was meh. Other than that, I'd totally recommend and I'll visit again when I'm in the UK.

Absolutely fantastic the amount of trouble they were willing to go to, in order to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Gluten free is catered for and they will adjust individual dishes to cater for preferences. Brilliant service from Kate and the other staff.

One of my fav places in Sheffield. Service is always great. Staff are friendly. The food is the best. I have friends who drive from Bridlington just for food here because of her gluten and dairy allergies and it's the only place she's found who cater for her that don't make food that tastes like dust. Wish I could give you more stars! Absolutely the best customer service I've ever experienced. My mother and I have special diets—she's allergic to gluten and chilli, while I'm allergic to garlic and onions. This makes eating out quite complicated, and we've stopped doing it for a while because it's easy to get disappointed with our allergies. However, the amazing waitress, Katie G, went above and beyond. She discussed our options with the head chef to accommodate our needs. Although I didn't get to try all the dishes I wanted, I now know we can pre-order when we book a table with our allergy specifications, and they'll customize the meals to suit our needs. I've never seen this level of service anywhere else before! The food was gorgeous, and everyone had great meals. We wouldn't be able to tell everything was vegan because it tastes so real, like actual meat! My family isn't vegan, but they were so impressed that they wanted to come back next time. Katie, I just want to thank you for being so helpful and enthusiastic; we all appreciated the experience you and your team offered. This place is now my top choice for dining out.

A great place to chill after a long week. The atmosphere is amazing. The restaurant has a lot of retro games and PS4’s to kill time. All of the items on the menu are 100% vegan. 10/10 would recommend it. It was a lot of fun!

100% vegan restaurant and with lots of gluten free options too. Delicious food and very unique decor/features. There is a bar area where you can order food/drinks on the bar or a table service area that I recommend booking as it gets quite busy. Recommend a visit!

I have never had such an amazing experience as I did here. It’s been a few weeks since I attended and honestly it’s all I can think about now. Can’t wait for my next visit in a few weeks.

I have visited twice and travelled for Sunday service from Coventry for my birthday knowing I wouldn't get a better vegan Sunday dinner anywhere else. Staff are friendly I would highly recommend visiting. The only thing I was disappointed with was both times they ran out of cheesecake which I was looking forward to but I'll still be back 😊

Church is what I look forward to every month! I'm here the last Thursday of every month for a colourful meal, phenomenal drinks, a relaxing pottery class, and I get to meet new people and listen to my kind of music the whole time! Service and staff are also amazing, I just love this place. If you haven't been, go!

One of the best vegan burger places

This is a fun place to visit with very unique decor. The menu is great, all vegan. And the food we had was delicious. I had the Budda bowl, which had loads of choices to make just how you wanted. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The whole place was covered in pride flags while we were there.

I visited here when I came to rhe get together festival, live music was fantasic, bar were friendly. I had a great time. Place is a rocky vibe and I loved it

Definition of a hidden gem (that really isn't hidden). This must be one of the most popular restaurants in all of Sheffield - and for good reason!! All the food is vegan! The church conversion is something else! It's next to Kelham Island and the trendy hipster surroundings. Visit here for at least a drink!

Food is 100% vegan, edgy cutlery, cool menus, lots to look at, and God is definitely watching. Amazing customer service, answers all questions, and are friendly. Tasty food, happy boyfriend!

Came here for a 30th birthday and 82nd birthday! Both times excellent. Food is great and the team are lovely and accommodated our large party at a busy Sunday service. Would highly recommend.

Had a burger that tasted better than ones with real meat

This is a place where even if you aren't local you HAVE to try. First and foremost the elephant in the room this is a FULLY Vegan food and drink menu but you would not know it if you walked in and tried it without that knowledge. If this is what all vegan food tasted like I would have no problem switching diet because it is incredible. People often write off vegan options because it has a stigma attached to it but as a hearty meat eater I could not tell a difference. I went for the Ma Doner Kebab, my friend had the Syko Burger and we shared a plate of Nachos topped with Chilli, Guac, salsa and cheese. And what I ate I can say with confidence was the best Kebab and Nachos I've ever had. So much flavour was packed into the food that every bite had us raving to each other about how surprised we were and how much we enjoyed it. By the time we left my stomach was full to the absolute brim. We also had the mango cider and tried some of their signature cocktails which were delicious and did not skimp on the alcohol, delicious and refreshing and highly recommended if you visit. Our servers were so friendly and kind that it pained me the card reader wasnt allowing us to add a generous tip on the day because they earned it and then some and dealt with us with great care. I will absolutely be going back though and with cash to make sure that's not the case next time. So if you have doubts about vegan food, want to go for dinner somewhere unique and beautiful, or are simply big fans of alternative culture and music please please please consider Church Temple of Fun for your next meal.

Excellent Sunday lunch, we had the smaller portions for £9.50 and it was plenty! Good quality, well presented, and fab service as usual. Even better, it’s fully plant based 💚

Best food I've ever had, I always go here when I'm in Sheffield, can't beat it!

My friend and I drove 134 miles to dine here and we were not disappointed! The decor is a feast for the eyes, the service is top notch and the food is AMAZING!!! You'd never know you were eating vegan. I will not hesitate to drive up here again and again.

Went to the official bmth after party for their Sheffield show, was a great atmosphere, staff were lovely, good music. 🖤Even got to meet the legend Ian Sykes himself 🤘🏻 Have recently visited again to give the food ago… although I’m not vegan this menu definitely could change my mind, almost certain this was the nicest food I’ve had in a while😋Also gave the photo booth a go and it’s a lovely little memento for the trip!

Great vibe and very friendly service but the food was just not up to scratch. Very Good cocktails however. The alternative chicken in the strips was more like a oversized sausage in every single way. The burger (not upgraded) was comparable to a value McDonalds burger, dissapointing for the price paid. Will give it another try just in case other menu items are better however as the vibe is just so good!

We booked a table for 6, 2 we're delayed on a train journey, we changed to 4 and requested earlier due to one of the party getting called in for work duty. Church accommodated us, the food was delicious the sticky toffee pudding is just a must! We love this place🧛‍♀️🧛‍♂️

Honestly probably the worst burger I’ve ever consumed. Deffo wouldn’t recommend , if I was oli Sykes I’d sick to singing weird remixes with ed Sheeran. Staff were nice though

Super place and nice atmosphere. Did not realise it was vegan. Food and service was good. However, when visiting most mainstream restaurants they offer vegetarian and vegan options these days. Suggest vegan restaurants also offer the odd meat dish for those of us not vegan. Two way street !

At £17.95 for a burger we were really expecting something special but the food here seems more style over substance. If we'd gone for a few of the upgrades we could've easily paid close to £25 per burger! The patty in the 'Hex Mex burger' was advertised as Beyond burger but it was dry and uninspiring. It was possibly not a Beyond burger or it was prepared in such a way it didn't resemble one, what a waste! Waffle fries- similar disappointment. It's no doubt very attractive vegan fast food, but bland food nonetheless, and at hefty prices. However... the staff are super nice, and the ambience is great so we'll definitely come back for a drink every now and then.

Really nice place. Booked for mothers day and a free alcoholic beverage was offered to MUM. Live music while we ate was perfect. Our service was provided by Samantha, who was 5☆☆☆☆☆

The food was amazing, and drinks were fairly priced. The Meat your maker burger was way better than real beef alternatives, and the Bang Bang Cauliflower was to die for! Portions of food and alcohol % in drinks were really generous too. The decor was beautiful in every corner, and the lighting made it super immersive ✝️

Quite a large open space and it can get a little chilly or loud on a weekend the food is quite nice with an all vegan menu & bar and they offer table service too but its seems quite pricey for fast food ultimately using branded/catering products not scratch made in house or wholefood based or many healthier options the old food offering by make no bones was better but sadly they are now closed too. Hopefully they release some new fresh options for spring/summer and cater for more allergies and dietary restrictions such as gluten, soya and nut free dishes and more freshly made in house options too would be lovely and encourage us to dine here more frequently

Lush spot for food and drink, amazing atmosphere, attentive staff, fast service and plenty of things to do. Retro pinball and arcade games, Photo Booth, gaming pods. And the mortuary is next door if you fancy getting your hands on some official Drop Dead Clothing before you enter the Church Temple of fun. Also look around, even the ceiling, this place to me is a work of art and is my idea of heaven.
