They have a variety of tasty food and of large portion. It was our birthday, and they celebrated us with free ice cream each and played a birthday song. Excellent customer service 👏

No, no and no. I ordered wings and a burger with fries, along with a drink. Please tell me why the drink was the only thing that was edible? The food arrived cold, and to make matters worse, the chicken was undercooked and pink. I had to send it back, only to receive the same dish again. It was truly a waste of money, considering nothing is below £10 on their menu. However, if you're in dire need of a laxative, perhaps Unit's food might serve its purpose.

Unit was impeccable when it had first opened, I used to live opposite it and went nearly every other week thought it was fantastic. A couple years later I decided to go again as I have moved away from sheffield and honestly the food was incredibly shocking. I am 5 months pregnant and honestly I feel absolutely ill. Mine and my husbands burger was cold like hardly any seasoning, I'm so shocked that I am compelled to write this review genuinely shocked at the quality. When the lady server came over to our table she had seen that I had not finished my food understandably and as an apology offered me a free icecream Sunday. Everyone I am being honest and fair when I say that I would genuinely never ever step foot in unit ever again. Paid £50 and feel very disappointed. A waste of money.

My fiancé and I travelled over 2 hours to try Unit for the first time, after having watched a YouTube video that spoke very highly of the food they serve here. However, we were left bitterly disappointed. The high steaks burger meat was dry, tough and flavourless, the bun was flat and soggy, and there were barely any fillings inside - small bits and pieces here and there. The burger didn't look anything like the one in the YouTube video, although we ordered the same burger. We would've been better getting a burger from mcdonald's instead of Unit, it would've tasted better and been a fraction of the price! Burgers were truly awful and were poor quality - They ended up in the bin. The fries were basic, not enjoyable, and the halloumi fries weren't much to write home about either. The only decent things were my oreo milkshake (very yummy!) and my boyfriend's loaded brisket fries (really tasty!). Although everything wasn't awful - most of it was. It really wasn't worth travelling over 2 hours for food of such a poor quality! We were excited to try Unit but we've been left shocked and terribly disappointed. I'd advise that you save yourself the journey and the money - best to pass on this.

The wings were so good. had a amazing flavor. just wish they came with more in one order, but that because they are that good. The curly fries had a great taste and crunch . The mother clunker was so tasty. highly recommend.

One of the best burger joints in and around Sheffield. We had a high stakes burger and a buttermilk burger and they both exceeded expectations! One of the Best burgers probably I have had. Also lotus milkshake was good. It could simply be my regular goto burger place if it weren't for a 20 miles drive!!! I shall return 💯👍

Lovely place. Staff very friendly and courteous. Food comes we'll packaged and looks appetising. Only thing I'd maybe do is to wrap the burgers up to retain heat whilst eating starters. Presentation on everything is really nice and plenty of sauces/dips provided. Food tastes good but didn't personally like the sauce that comes on the hot chic burger would probably recommend going for normal mayo instead. The milkshake is probably the best I've had from anywhere, really thick and fresh yet not freezing cold. All quality items here and everything is fresh. Only thing I can add is that if they use nawhals sauces they would absouletely kill the game! 5******

Just came in today ordered chicken waffles and lemon pepper wings. Everything was so dry, the wings had zero flavour. I think this is the worst food I’ve had in a long time. What a waste of money. Would not recomend wings went straight in the bin !

Called at the centertainment branch in a whim. It was a busy Friday night but the staff were great, really efficient and friendly. The food was top notch. Hands down the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had! Beetroot burger fab and my partners chicken he said was perfect. My only gripe would be better fries. Will be visiting again

Stumbled across this place online when I was looking for somewhere for me and my friends to eat and I am so glad that I did! Service was really quick and friendly, the restaurant was cool and quirky and the food itself was superb! Portion sizes were so big that I couldn't even finish. Would definitely recommend! Also 10/10 music

Was a good experience. Quite busy when we went. All menus are online so you have to order at table, which does mean no cash! They had some secret spicy sauce, it was amazing! Took the chef ages to prepare like a tablespoon worth but wow! Burger was good, fries where generous portions. Nachos where just average no wow factor there. Waiters are friendly and did make it a good experience. Would return if i was in the area!

I drove 3 hours to get to this place and it did not disappoint. I was in Sheffield for a powerlifting competition on the 10th of February, when I stumbled across this place. From the outside it looked unique, you wouldn’t think it’s a food spot. Nonetheless, the food was amazing and really filling slightly extortionate in my opinion, but then again I did get the biggest burger they got and brisket loaded fries, which was fantastic!

Really good and affordable food. Nice staff and are really good with allergens (gluten free menu). 10/10! Have a variety of different burgers and drinks.

Amazing food, service and ambience. Had food here before going to the MOBOs and they have a live saxophone player and food was at the table within 15 minutes.

Food was good but the customer service is shocking, I tried to order on the website but it said it was cancelled so I went and ordered at the counter, however both orders went through. When I asked about it, they said the food was made and there was nothing they could do about it so I couldn’t get my money back. After bankrupting me, they left my food behind my counter but when I asked for it, they only gave me half which I didn’t know till I got home. I enjoy the food at unit but this experience has put me off going. Anyone who is going, I strongly suggest you go straight up to the counter and don’t mess about with the shocking website nor the unbothered manager that wasn’t willing to see my side of the scenario.

The overall restaurant was great, unique design and great atmosphere and staff. The only thing that's a bit disappointing is the food, while the presentation is great, the taste is very bland and not much flavour, the onion rings were soaking with oil inside and you could barely eat 1 without feeling full, the burgers looked amazing but again, tasted a little bland.

First visit, food was quick, piping hot and absolutely delicious. Staff are so polite and helpful. We were greeted and left with such genuine warmth- a rare find these days. Loved the restaurant decor and we bought a bottle of the fabulous sauce !!We will be back !! Thankyou all !!!

This place honestly turned out to be better then I expected. The portions were huge. I ordered ‘the destroyer’ which was absolutely delicious.

The food here was actually a step above a lot of food places in Sheffield, great value for money, actually comes out hot and very very tasty :) plus the suicide wings are excellent for spicy food lovers

The manager was very disrespectful he came to our table and started talking to us in the language we speak Which was offensive and disrespectful. ( he isn’t the same ethnicity as us) we didn’t find it funny if anything it irritated us we then went out to ignore it and every time he came to the table he continued to speak to us in our language making weird comments. The waitress was lovely and there was no issue with her. We had a problem with a child’s burger and told the manager as in customer service. “Customer is always right” he then proceeded to tell us about the burger being cooked and that “there was nothing wrong with it” implying that we was lying. It was a very bad experience compared to the centertaiment unit so I would recommend going there if you want to be treated with respect l.

Fast food service and great gluten free options

I ordered the mac and cheese with fries and chicken nuggets and a mango jarrito. I couldn’t finish it all so I got it to take with me. Lovely food and drink and quick service.

They were busy when I visited. I was dining in. Was mistaken for a delivery driver so my wait was longer than the other customers dining in. Lots of drivers blocking the way in. (That's a whole separate conversation). Food was good, more for show, than flavour. And portions were plenty. One waiter was great.

Went for the first time today and in our opinion it's a runner for best burger place in Sheffield. Extensive burger offering across beef, chicken (Korean chicken was a highlight) and a range of vege options, plenty of sides (onion rings were very good) and puddings and joyous milkshakes that come with super thick straws that only just handle the thickness of the shakes. Service is quick and really friendly, two people asked how our food was. Food came in no time and we will definitely be back to try more of the menu. And you get cool free stickers in the style of the graffiti guy who did the sign. We weren't sure if it was in the same place the unit night club was in the olden days where we used to go in our youth. No booze or bacon. I didn't miss either.

Based in a refurbished warehouse of some kind, the environment is just perfect for eating delicious food. The combination of stone and wood sets the environment up perfectly for a meal. The food itself is served relatively quickly with excellent service from the staff. I advise eating whatever you get with your hands, and expect it to get a little messy; it’s entirely worth it. I’ve been here on multiple occasions, both for eating in and takeout. The food is always impeccable.

Spend £50 for the worst food you could ever imagine. I saw this page on TikTok and thought it looked amazing. Little did I know they would serve me stale chips, cold wings and a DISGUSTING portion of runny Mac & Cheese. Also my milkshake was given to me half split. DO NOT ORDER TAKEWAY, maybe eat in is better.

Ordering was a farce with the app. Food was only just warm. Came our really quick so must have been reheated. Burger was average. The place was empty so no excuse for not cooking to order. Waffle was only just warm. Expensive for a fast food feel and basically serve yourself.

We had unit cauliflower wings, curly, standard and sweet potato fries as well as a halloumi burger, ordered through deliveroo. The cauliflower wings were quite flavourless, and the accompanying sauces didn't make up for it, however it was nice and crispy. We were really disappointed in how flavourless the batter was though. We did order 3 different types of cauliflower wings but the flavour was exactly the same in all of the wings. All 3 of the fries (sweet potato, standard and curly) were really soggy as opposed to crispy and had a lack of flavour. The halloumi burger had the same problem in that it was really soggy and flavourless. We tried to speak to deliveroo but they said it was Unit that was responsible for this.

Best halal burger in town. The food come quickly in a big portion with reasonable price. You can order through your phone but one thing they need to install is a wifi. I also love the vibes, young and energetic

Everything was great. I recommend that the places be a little cleaner.

Unit is very consistently excellent. No matter when you go or which of their restaurants you go to you are always guaranteed a quick and tasty meal. There are options to order at the counter or via their website which is very convenient. There's a reasonable amount of veggie options as well as chicken, beef and fish options. This is a halal establishment so don't come here expecting pork, but the turkey bacon is so good you won't even notice. I love the milkshakes although with the generous portions I don't always feel up to one, and my husband says that their mac and cheese is the best in Sheffield. We love Unit. It's our go-to for a casual meal that we can rely on.

Been here a couple of times now & have to say never am disappointed. The beef burger was finger-licking good & fries were seasoned to perfection (no need to be dipped into sauce) & the nachos were flavoursome! Friendly staff, fast service & a warm/cosy environment

Went here not too long ago, ordered the buttermilk burger with fries and some chicken wings. Burger tasted like it had very little to no seasoning at all. The fries and wings were average. The staff and service was good but overall would give it a 3 star.

1st time trying this place after hearing great reviews we were a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The food was some of the best we've ever had and that's a massive compliment as we eat out a lot. The burgers were succulent and the fries were seasoned perfect and don't get time started on the desserts they were amazing to a point where I did t want to wait around for my partner to take a picture lol. The staff were friendly and overall this was a very enjoyable experience

The best thing about this place is the burgers. I ordered the American beef burger with an egg added inside and it was lovely, the chips were also crispy and well cooked. We were let down by the starters however which was the mac and cheese and nachos which I wouldn’t recommend. The milkshake was also a big let down as it wasn’t even a milkshake, was basically all ice cream. The service was very good and the seating and interior is also very nice.

Visited for a 2nd time on 1st Oct 23, and food/service did not disappoint. A great range of eats on the menu, sides, desserts, milkshakes and drinks. Well worth the trip. Great atmosphere and staff, what's not to fault!!

The website ordering is horrible and there is no free WiFi that could have made the ordering experience better. Eventually we had to just order at the counter, which wasn't offered as an option originally. The atmosphere is a little confused with some very clever design decisions muddled with empty bottles and stickers that look like a five year old was given a free pass. Once we ordered the food came quickly and was really good. The shake is so thick the straws cannot handle it but once thawed it was very nice. The bathrooms are nice and clean with a baby change/disabled and two floor to ceiling rooms with their own sink. The two rooms are sadly and pointlessly gendered.

Service honestly the person was nice it was just the fact the way thay do it honestly feels like mac Donald's no glass with my soft drink no table cheek back and very little contact even had to ask for a menu was told to oder online witch wasnt thrilled about doing i would rather give my oder at the till are to a meber of staff Atmosphere honestly kinda dead in there and was a bit cold nothing to bad Food was good just the brisket was dry it defo been reheated and my bun was a bit soggy

Bit of a mixed bag but I have to say the staff were lovely. Order was by an App which was clunky and didn't make customising orders that easy. Yes, you can speak to the staff who are helpful. But why not just do a decent App if that's the route they want to take. Dtr had the American Burger which she really enjoyed, nice juicy burger with plenty of taste. So that was a winner. I had the fried shrimp Po Boy sub. The prawns were over cooked to the point it was hard to tell what was in the coating, and the sub roll it was in was very similar to the Aldi 'Subway' copy rolls, only this one was pretty dry at each end. It did feel like the Po Boy was the least worried about 'filet-o-fish' of their menu. Fries were lovely and crisp but asking for salt and sauces is a needless phaff. Good range of soft drinks, but no alcohol and no byo, so worth noting if you like a beer with your burger. Wasn't all i was hoping it would be and could be better with a few simple things. Undecided on giving it another go.

This place for me is Sheffield's hidden gem, the place is out the way and looked different from the outside but when you come in you can see the effort that's been made. The food was lovely, portions are large and well done in all areas. The onion rings in particular were extra special. The burgers vary in size depending on what you order and the customisation is off the charts with the ability to add all sorts of add-ons. I won't list as I will be here for ages however the full menu can be found online and they deliver which is an extra bonus. The options for vegetarians and vegans was also impressive with more variety that I would have expect for a place this small. The fires are lovely too I ordered the sweet potato but someone else got normal and both lovely. Normal didn't look very crispy in colour but was lovely none the less. MILKSHAKES ARE TO DIE FOR! I love milkshakes and will often try them anywhere I go and but I think these take the 1st place, the range isn't as good as I would like but the salted caramel one was amazing and the thickness of them shows the quality of what you are ordering. Creamy and thick with tons of flavour, there is resistance when putting the straw through which I think says it all. Atmosphere isn't the most important but can help make a meal out even nicer and this place does not disappoint, small and simple with comfy setting and well setup areas. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough and to end your visit you have the ability to get stickers and/or pins of their little logos. To sum up I would highly recommend and will look forward to going back and maybe trying a different shake!

Had a great meal here last night! Superb burgers, including a korean chicken-style special, with great fries. Chicken and waffles, and halloumi fries both excellent too, and fast, friendly, attentive service. But the milkshakes?! To die for. Really good food, and a great vibe to boot.

Had the sharing fries and brisket, and we ordered a kinder shake and strawberry shake. The fries were really great, quite filling and a decent portion! The kinder s’more shake wasn’t too sweet and the quality of ingredients was good. I’d definitely dine in next time and try other things. The service was really fast and the staff were quite friendly too. Look forward to going back

A must try if you're in Sheffield or passing by. We stopped off at Unit, 30 mins before closing, on the way back from a roadtrip up north and it was one of the best decisions of the night. You can see the how much time and effort the owners have put into making the restaurant the way it is and they have not cut any corners. One of the best American style burger joints about. We were welcomed by the staff and it honestly felt like we were home. Been to many restaurants and the staff haven't been as nice (even at the fancy ones). The food was bang on, compliments to the chef. The brisket juicy and tender, not dry at all. The burgers the same. Everything was fresh and it came out minutes after ordering. No complaints here, and would definitely visit again.

Stopped here on our way back from the peaks! Service was great from the moment we walked in. The servers were extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay! Food was delicious! Milkshakes are a must here we had the flake and Oreo concrete and although near impossible to drink when it arrives it soon melts and was hands down the best milkshakes we’ve had!

I saw this place pop up Instagram so thought it was worth a visit as people were raving about the burgers. I have to say, the service was quick, even though a slightly complicated way to order via the table QR code. Tasty burgers, lots of fries! Overall good value and for £11 it’s a cheap meal. They don’t serve alcohol which I didn’t know, so my burger and a pint plan didn’t work out! Would go again and try some other menu choices.

Our girl got a kids meal Initially thought ‘wow but steep for Sheffield but the burgers come with chips as standard, Curley fries were little extra but so delicious 😁 Much needed halal quality burger Then got some milkshakes towards the end, was extremely thick! Personally not big on milkshakes but I know some that would love these Overall great experience would absolutely visit again if in town Maybe this is why Prince Naseem got those curves 😋
