Great place, the always a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. A great atmosphere and not overpriced either. But be warned it can and does often get very busy

Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon on Thursday afternoon and

I popped in for a quick lunch - the menu has so much choice, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely.

Great little find. Everything excellent. Well worth a visit.

We called in on a friend's stag do, we were all presented with a warm welcome. Indeed we were still in the good books when we left. A very nice bar, with pleasant staff and plenty of atmosphere.

A little bit bland and generic bar. Perfectly acceptable but nothing exceptional.

Popped in for a breakfast after reading reviews, eggs were over done, hash browns cremated. I would of explained this to the waitress if she would of asked, how was your food. Walked past the table several times with out taking our plates. Shame!

What a find ! Came to a party for a friend and I am new to Sheffield . Bar Kelham really stands out as being so friendly with great atmosphere. I entered as a stranger but left as a friend - coming from London I really appreciate great friendly service and that is exactly what I received ! Great place, even better staff, food lovely, the staff are really nice,polite and really helpful they can’t do enough for my friend who recently had a stroke. Also a mention for the Sheffield Aces scooter club who meet there on a Saturday morning who gave up their table so we could all sit together to celebrate my friends birthday much appreciated gentlemen. Well worth a visit

Wow! Bar Kelham is fabulous! Felt compelled to write this review as what a fantastic place! Superb service from wonderful friendly staff. Atmosphere amazing, food amazing, owner, super amazing! Best place at Kelham Island. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Don't advertise that you show live sports if you're going to pipe in ear-meltingly loud music instead of the commentary.

What an excellent place. Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful friendly staff who are kind and very help. We will be going again.

It's such a shame. We called in after a meal at the nearby steakhouse, but the rude staff couldn't wait to throw us out when they wanted to close. We weren't even allowed to finish our drinks and were made to feel really uncomfortable. Spend your money somewhere else.

Wow what a find down at Kelham Island Sheffield! This place is chilled with a feel good atmos, great coffee, great food, my breakfast was amazing with fab ingredients sausage and bacon are fab. The staff are friendly and welcoming, welcoming me with a smile is a win win. Nearly full at the time of our visit which speaks volumes.

This place is just fabulous!! The staff are very welcoming and the whole place has cool and relaxed vibes. Could have chilled all day! We had the big breakfast and veggie breakfast which were delicious. Coffee is superb too. Make sure you’re hungry before you go! Oh and dogs are welcome too, bonus!

Finished our drinks (£50 worth) and instantly was told to buy another drink or leave despite the bar being half empty and pouring with rain outside. Dead atmosphere. Would recommend going to the fat cat instead and being a valued customer.

Whenever we come here the staff are always very friendly and helpful, the food is always hot well presented, the staff are amazing. We love coming here, either for breakfast or just a drink. Fantastic staff.

I'm sorry to say that my (indirect) experience with Bar Kelham has been less than satisfactory. While the concept of a neighbourhood bar is appealing, the reality has proven to be a major nuisance for the residents in the surrounding area. One of the biggest issues is the noise level. The customers at Bar Kelham seem to have a habit of yelling loudly, creating a constant disturbance for those of us who live nearby. It's especially frustrating during the evening hours when we're trying to relax in the comfort of our homes. But the noise is not exclusive to evening and can start from the morning hours. Additionally, the bar seems to attract a crowd that engages in anti-social behaviour. This has become a concerning problem. The sense of community that a local bar should foster seems to be overshadowed by the disruptive behaviour of some. Another problem we face is the cigarette smoke. The fact that the bar is located in a residential area means that the smoke from customers' cigarettes often finds its way into our homes. It's unpleasant and creates an unhealthy environment, especially for non-smokers. Advice for management: addressing the noise levels should be a top priority. Encourage your staff to remind customers to be mindful of their volume and not shout as it is a residential area.

This is our go to place for breakfast or a quick dinner in Kelham. We always have a lovely, friendly and warm welcome on arrival. There is a lot of choice for different types of breakfasts from a classic full English to pancakes and a variety of Eggs Benedict’s. It’s excellent value for money and the service is great even when it’s busy, they’ll always let you know how long the food wait might be before you order and are more than happy to accommodate any changes or dietary requirements there may be. Would definitely recommend.

I had a truly disappointing experience, and I cannot stress enough how much I would advise against visiting. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I had made a huge mistake. The ambiance was dull and lacked any charm or warmth. We had to ask multiple times for simple things like water and napkins, and staff seemed annoyed by our requests. The menu boasted a variety of dishes, but the reality was far from appetizing. My partner ordered a burger, but it arrived cold and overcooked. The bun was stale, and the toppings looked like they had been sitting out for hours. My friend's chips was equally disappointing - greasy, soggy, and lacking any flavor. The prices were absurdly high for the quality of food and service we received. I could have had a much better meal at a fast-food place. What infuriated me even more was the complete lack of appreciation for vegan options. When we inquired about any plant-based dishes, the staff looked puzzled as if they had never heard of the concept. They offered a sad-looking salad that consisted of wilted lettuce and some dry tomatoes. It's 2023, and any reputable establishment should be aware of and cater to dietary preferences like veganism.

Great place to stop and have a few cheeky cocktails great price ..good music ...staff lovely, place very well designed loved it .. highly recommend.

Lovely atmosphere and the staff were excellent.. hardly any wait at bar as staff so organised... Great choice of drinks and the Blue Moon was lovely....

Had two breakfast's at bar kelham, both really good, great location and atmosphere. Would recommend.

Came for coffee, which was ok, and stayed fo a sandwich. Bacon very good quality and delicious, plenty of it and a very reasonable price. Decent choice of tea to go with it. Staff very friendly and helpful. Stylish place with good prices. Will try lunch next time.

We only stopped for a late morning coffee; which was lovely. The service was great and everyone was extremely friendly. The food did look delicious so next time we're in Sheffield (from Kent) we'll stop for food too.

Top place , great drinks selection and nice decor , from memory it seems to close earlier than other pubs but that maybe because it's near accommodation so there maybe conditions in place for noise reduction in that area

Stopped off for a cocktail as it started raining. The menu had two cocktails listed and it also said we could ask for a cocktail at the bar. The lady behind the bar looked very confused and said they did not offer that even though it was on the menu. Anyway, had a vodka and orange and left

We booked our daughter's 18th birthday celebration at Bar Kelham. The staff are fantastic and the venue is spot on. Would highly recommend.

Lovely place to eat and socialise. I have eaten breakfast here which is always displayed and cooked beautifully. Staff are friendly and extremely pleasant and prices are very reasonable for the quality of food received.

What a gem!..discovered this bar recently when attending a family birthday. Landlady was very welcoming and took time to speak to customers, not what you usually get in a bar inside the city, but she made a point of ensuring that customers were welcomed in. This is definitely a bar not to be missed if visiting the area. Staff were polite, bar area large enough to get served..what more could you want? They do serve food and the menu did look appealing, however we did not purchase any due to going for drinks instead of food, so cannot comment. Overall we had a fantastic night for our first visit and would we visit again? YES!!

Nice little bar, relaxed, the menu looked good and they showed football on big screen TVs. The only alcohol free beer option was the ubiquitous Heineken 0.0, but the staff were lovely so I forgive them.

Amazing relaxed place in Kelham! Great music, brilliant ambience, live sports, awesome staff. We’ve been here twice now, once for a big group friends day out and once at the start of a date night with my wife yesterday. On both occasions we had a fantastic time, the staff are superb and very attentive. Definitely recommend visiting this place. Would give them 10 stars if I could. Fabulous place! Food is amazing at good prices..and the owner and staff are just lovely!!

Decent beers on tap, however the place was packed and only a single woman in the crowd. If you're looking for a mixed environment maybe this isn't the place. The owner is probably the bars biggest customer. Not a bad thing but don't drink all your profits!
