Friendly service from Faith with excellent food as always. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff are very knowledgeable about their food.

Absolutely brilliant meal, out server Ruben made it such a special visit. He was friendly and made us feel welcome. We had mentioned a birthday in passing and he had a candle and 'happy birthday' written in chocolate sauce for the desert. 10/10 service and food.

Excellent service, our server James was very attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely lovely, the steak was cooked to perfection. I will definitely come again.

They say first impressions count. We were shown to a booth, then we were looked after by Ruben who was so friendly and professional. He couldn’t do enough for you. It was our first visit to MILLER and CARTER so he explained the menu to us, when ordering. Nothing too much trouble for him. The food was very tasty .We had sirloin steak with beef dripping sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection. Melt in the mouth comes to mind. Ruben kept checking we were okay and didn’t need anything else. We had a wonderful experience and we will be back. Keep up the good work Ruben.

Went for Christmas Day Lunch. Miller and Carter food is good quality, hence our decision to put our trust in them for the most important dinner of the year. The vegetables were a tad too al dente for me. Otherwise the food was very good, hot, tasty and served with amazing grace, poise and humour by Destiny. Thank you for a very happy family occasion.

Just enquired about a table for Christmas Day and the person said I can’t check at the minute we’re too busy, unbelievably rude.

Had an amazing time, Kirsty was an absolutely fabulous waitress and food was spectacular!! Looking forward to going back in the future!

Ate here at the weekend always love Miller and Carter We had a few drinks in the bar area and were were escorted to our table by a young lady she didn’t give her name but she was nice and polite she retrieved my bag for me when I left it behind at the bar Our waiter introduced himself as Ruben but we had a table by the window which was very draughty and cold so I asked to be moved and Ruben promptly sorted that , but we lost him as our waiter , the lady that took over didn’t introduce herself 🤷‍♀️ I really enjoyed our meal the steak was tasty the ribs were delicious I had a offer for a free glass of Prosecco for up to 6 people but I was only given one glass and my partner didn’t get one 🤷‍♀️but he wasn’t bothered All in all we had a lovely night but I thought the final bill £120 even with 20% off was a bit steep and in my opinion Miller and Carter are risking pricing themselves out

Perfect place, lovely atmosphere, staff are professional, friendly and very attentive. I had a medium rare steak, it was absolutely juicy, tender and absolutely delicious. I had Tiramisu for dessert and it was superb. My favourite place to eat.

We visited this past weekend. Amazingly friendly staff, gorgeous food and lovely drinks. Can definitely recommend the 7oz prime rump steak meal and the mini dessert and cocktail deal.

I would always order steak. I ordered off the Christmas menu today for a change and was so disappointed. The turkey meal was so dry. Not just the meat but the whole thing. Definitely needs more work doing to it. I will only order steak from there in future because they always do that right.

Popped in here after the cinema at the weekend and was very impressed. The food was excellent, really tasty and the service outstanding thanks to Harvey. We had the cookie dough dessert for 2 and it was amazing!

Restaurant, food and staff amazing

Great visit food was lovely . Nat our server friendly and attentive but not over powering perfect host. We had our steaks which melted in our mouths two of our party had the set menu but still great quality. Family of five and all thoroughly enjoyed their meals Thankyou to the chefs and also Nat who looked after us .

Very busy, a bit impersonal. The burgers we had were expensive and not particularly filling and they were tasteless. Wine was stupidly expensive, ranging from £25 the cheapest upto over £50 was not reasonable. Jade our waitress was nice.

High standard as always at Miller and Carter. We had the Thursday set menu which is really good value. Steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce complements it so well. The cookie pan for two is a must-try.

Food expensive steaks not as tender as advertised but ok

Celebrated our anniversary here and it was as perfect as it could be! Greeted at the door by friendly staff. Nothing seemed too much to ask for and we were treated like royalty. Our waiter Ruben knew the menu well and answered all of our queries with expertise. The food was simply delicious. I can easily recommend this restaurant without hesitation. I’m willing to guarantee you will not be disappointed

I cannot remember are servers name (but she was from Doncaster if that helps) she was absolutely fantastic really really good service, polite, friendly very professional she even went above and beyond and brought us a plate saying congratulations on as we were celebrating are engagement. The food was cooked perfect could fault it in any way.

Came in for a lovely meal tonight and was provided with excellent service from our waitress Clare who helped with recommendations and looked after us for the evening. The food was excellent and service was impecable would definitely recommend and will be returning!!

Service was amazing 👏 we were really impressed with Erica's knowledge and her recommendations. Since it was our first time there she explained everything in the perfect amount of detail and sold us on the recommendations. Also the Camembert mash is to die for 😩 Would definitely go again for sure!

Our host Harvey was very helpful and a great host. He hadn't been there long but was very helpful in selecting a non acholic drink and service was exceptional. He made out 5th wedding anniversary very enjoyable.

We always go to this restaurant we have one closer but it’s not a patch on this one. The staff, the food and everything inbetween. Rube I think his name is the Italian guy was absolutely amazing with us!!! Can’t thank him enough he was so nice and knowledgeable. Very kind natured and not one bit false. You know when some put it on for a tip, he doesn’t he’s so genuine to us and to other staff members :) thanks again if you see this. We had 2x gift cards for her but only used one so we would definitely come back all thanks to him. :) oh and the food is good too! Hahhaah
