Best meal I've had this year....

Travelled from Scunthorpe and was not disappointed at all. From the minute, 10 of us walked in, the reception by Noori was 10/10. Ibrahim and Hannah too. Food was great, service was fantastic. Great ambience and atmosphere. 10/10. Will definitely be back.

Wow :) Incredible customer service from Abdul Quddis I was going to grab a takeout and was persuaded to eat in… so glad I did, food tasted much better than if I ate in my car. Am a regular of the Roundhay branch… Beeston branch is amazing as well. I don’t normally leave reviews as I don’t have much time, but Abdul really impressed me as a business owner I’m always Looking for impressive people and the team at Basin Beaston certainly do impress.

My wife had gone out with friends for the evening so what is a boy to do when he needs feeding. It was early on a Thursday evening and the trade was brisk. I was lucky to get a table. I started with the halloumi fries which probably weren't a full starter but they were a beautiful start. The chilli sauce actually tasted like there was a little chilli in there. A great start! I went for a ribeye with chips, onion rings and a peppercorn sauce. This was indeed a fine plate of food. The steak was of a very high quality and the accompaniments were really good, just cooked piping hot. Just a word of warning. I did have a bottle of wine in the car and I asked if it would be ok to have a glass with my steak. I was informed no wine here, so I'm really glad I left it in the car and asked. Service was very good, from busy smiling staff. The place is nice and functional and it's a nice place to get your tea. Prices are fair for the really good food on offer here. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great place, great food, readily available Street parking. I had the Ribeye which was very nice and cooked exactly how I wanted it (medium/rare). Family friendly and they have the better kids highchairs that make it easy to strap your child in meaning you can enjoy your meal. Staff were great. Will be visiting again inshallah.

First time here, but we loved it, the Steak was cooked exactly how we wanted. The kids meals were great. They had a prayer room, so was bale to use this for prayers. The atmosphere was also great. Will definitely paying them a visit again

The food came out to us fairly quickly, to start of the starters are actually like mains, e.g. if you get the ribs for starters it comes with mash as well. That’s why I opted for the wings, the BBQ chicken & lamb was worth it, it’s great for cheese lovers, the mash could be better. Service was great and the atmosphere. Parking could be an issue in the day but in the night time it’s fine 👍🏼

Bison is amazing We heard about it from a few reviews online and haven’t looked back. From the quality of the meat to the quality of the welcome you get when you go, it’s all an experience you want to repeat regularly. All the staff are professional and friendly and it’s well worth the drive.

Great food. Large serving sizes. Hana is by far the best server we have had in the UK. She was so patient when my 3 year old made a mess with the juice. Really looked after the whole family of 12 well! We will definitely be coming back. Food was great , fresh and cooked well!

Updated Review: Returned here since the refurbishment and its just as good. Steak was beautiful, the 10 wings to start were on point. They've done a terrific job of opening up the space without compromising food quality. Original review 2021: Came here with a friend and was very pleased with the food. We ordered wings for starters which were cooked perfectly and flavoursome. We both ordered sirloin steaks, medium, and they were really nice. I've tried previous Halal steakhouse like Toros and been disappointed, but not here. The mushroom and the peppercorn sauce were delicious. Would definitely return.

The service was amazing, your staff are incredibly friendly and make sure you have everything you need with regular check ups throughout our meals. Kemo was our waiter and he was great, he was timely with the food and kept us well informed with when the food would be ready. The food is nothing short of perfection. It’s halaal, and the owners go the extra mile to make sure everything is done properly with no shortcuts especially in the halaal certification which really sets a good standard for how Muslim need restaurants should try to be like. The prayer room is well kept, it’s clean and smells nice and there’s a hoover on site to keep it clean. Definitely would come back again.

First time here but certainly not the last. Cannot have my steak any other way than medium rare and DAMN did they cook it to perfection. Great food with even better service. Chahal, our server for the night did an impeccable job and really looked after us, always on top of her game, the restaurant is lucky to have her 👌

Following a recommendation my son and I came here after the football. From the moment we walked in the staff were friendly. Checking on us and smiles and humour throughout. The food was exceptional steaks , mash salad and chips etc all tasted good. The cooked food was cooked just as we asked. Thank you . I will be back

This was my 2nd ever visit to Bison. Upon entering, the manager greeted me with a handshake and asked the young waiter to seat my wife and I upstairs which was quieter and a bit more private (which I thought was a very nice gesture). The food we ordered was excellent. Everything was really tasty and reasonably priced. The service was exceptional! The young waiters kept coming up and down the stairs to check on us which was really appreciated as I know how easy it is to forget diners that are not in sight. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I visited yesterday with my friends after 10. The staff were really friendly and sweet and was patient with us. The manager gave us the big table in the room and also added an extra table so that we could be comfortable. The long hair lady was so sweet with us, I really liked her😅, she gave us everything we needed my mates asked her for few things every now and then and till last minute she served us with everything we asked for, even got us mocktails last minute. Thank you so much to her and she was really beautiful as well. We really liked everything the food, the atmosphere and the service everything was spectacular.

So the Mrs took us here, me for the first time. I have to say the way i was greeted by the staff was asif i was a regular so warm & welcoming and what made the whole experience better is i got the fillet steak and honestly ! Amazing ! I had this with sweet patatoe fries & mash and peppercorn sauce… so impressed!

After a visit to Bison Steakhouse in Huddersfield, we have decided to try the one in Leeds and it was amazing. The medium fillet steak was melting in the mouth with sauces and sides being a perfect addition to it. I have tried steaks in few different restaurants across Europe and UK usually left me disappointed but not this time. This was the best steak I had in UK and I must say that it is up there among the best I had in EU. I will definitely bring over some of my friends to have them try it too. Halloumi fries were tasty too which we took as a starter and blueberry mojito as really good too. We have also tried the sharing platter and my friend said that it is also among the best ones he had and definitely will come back. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. One thing I wish was slightly better was the atmosphere but it is probably limitation of the venue and I do not mind it much.

I'm gonna give these guys 5 stars for their impeccable service. Went around 10pm and the food was served fresh and perfect. The waiters were very friendly and did not rush us to leave. Would 100% go back

Good food at very reasonable prices, my only complaint is that the chicken in the chicken burger was a bit dry. Restaurant is also quite noisy, so would be best to keep in mind. No dedicated parking, only street parking for those coming with cars. Very friendly staff and immediately made us feel very welcome.

I visited the restaurant yesterday with my friends and it was so good. The food, the service, the drinks everything was on point. The manager Nuri was so nice with us he greeted us at the door, after which he accommodated us in a very nice big table. The service was quick and on the point, being there for the first time we were confused what to order, Miss Chahat suggested us Bbq chicken and pulled lamb, which was so delicious and spot on, also the mocktails were fresh and really nice. Young lady serves us really well and she was so kind and sweet with us, it was a bliss talking to her, at very point she made our experience really nice and apted us with everything we needed all the time, Nuri came to check on us time to time which happens rarely in a restaurant by the manager, all the team made sure to ask us multiple times if we were good. The starters and the food came out hot and the chicken was so juicy and tender, I do really recommend to try their peppercorn sauce it’s scrumptious. The restaurant has perfect food, environment and service. I highly recommend everybody to give it a try. It’s going to be my top choice now. Thank you Bison team for such good service.

Excellent and superb service by Noori and the team at Bison Steakhouse in Leeds. Noori greeted us at the door and welcomed us in to the restaurant. This is very rare and isn’t a practise in many restaurants in the area. He accommodated our group of 9 and made changes to the seating arrangements so that we could have a nice seating area in the restaurant. The steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection. The portions were very generous too. We all enjoyed our meals and it is evident that the team at Bison’s work very hard to make the customers experience as best as possible. Noori and the waiters came to us throughout our meal to check if everything was as it should be and this again is a very good practice. A big thank you to Noori and the team at Bison’s Leeds for their superb service. Keep up the good work and I highly recommend everyone to come and dine at Bison Steakhouse !

The sweet potato fries were nice, but unfortunately, the rest of the meal was disappointing. The vegetables tasted bland and under boiled and the Angus beef burger had more of a taste and consistency as a frozen/thawed patty like it was from a burger van.

10/10 food always. Consistency is alway on point.

Never heard of a steakhouse running out of drinks, mash potato, peppercorn sauce, and sides , cold food served, not happy with service and excuses, had to keep reminding them of items missed, waited over 50mins for food, not running a tight ship, won’t be going there again and won’t be recommending to anyone, we travelled over 1hr to get there and were left very dissatisfied and disappointed

Had such a lovely meal here with my dad the other day!! Would definitely recommend getting their lamb chops and mocktails! Couldn't fault their steak main either... all really delicious!! Will definitely be visiting again.

I would have given 0 stars if it was possible because this 1 star is too much. I Visited today with my 2 friends. Got told to wait 5 mins for a table even though it was quiet. Saw the manager and staff talking amongst themselves and looking over at us, didn’t think anything of it till he came over with the menus and said have a look in case you don’t like it. I didn’t like how he spoke and implied we couldn’t afford the food. They ended up giving us a table in the far corner away from the main restaurant, not impressed with this attitude and treatment. If you don’t want to be treated like dirt then avoid this place and go somewhere where your hard earned money is valued and appreciated.

Use to love Bisons sadly it's gone downhill. Ordered the Angus beef burger seems like it was processed was disgusting 100% it wasn't fresh. Shame I can't give zero stars.

4 stars because the burger and halloumi fries we ordered wasn’t the best. The fillet steak and ribs on mash was nice. The service was exceptional! I was fasting and one of the staff member said he would make sure the food came out hot and fresh just before the fast opens and it did so that was very nice of them!
