Food was lovely but took almost 2hrs to receive our meals. We had to ask for our 7 year old’s meal to be brought first as he was becoming quite fed up and hungry. Went up to the bar for most drinks due to wait time. Took a long time to clear empty glasses but began clearing plates when some of our party were still eating. A bit disappointed as we were out for our son’s 16th birthday.

came for my mums birthday back in may and she loved it! staff were super friendly and welcoming. food was delicious and the atmosphere was good too!

What had happened???? That’s what I asked myself!!! As being a member of miller and carter and having many fantastic visits previously - this was not a pleasant experience. Firstly, after the server had asked for the second time if my husband wanted cheese on his burger (response was no for a second time) his burger came with cheese - they would redo and it would be another 3 mins - which was not a problem. My food, however, was left - the burger bun was stale and the fries were cold - getting colder whilst we waited for my husband’s food which took over 10 mins. Upon paying we were over charged . When I questioned the server she said that the price was right. Only after I left and worked it out that I realised I was indeed over charged by nearly £10 I had to return for my refund ! Very disappointed visit, food and service .

Used to love Miller & Carter but its really gone downhill. Our latest attempt to get food it arrived late on Uber Eats despite paying extra for fast delivery. Then half the order was missing. Once we'd already complained on Uber we then realised the rest was stone cold. Had to heat up the steak and chips by which time it was more or less inedible. None of it would matter if there was any route to complain, but we've phoned several times and no one picks up.

First time at a Miller and Carter for a rare date night away from the children. Kelly provided excellent service, very attentive and friendly. Nice wide menu choice, cooked well. Only comment on food would be that the pastry on the apple pie dessert was a bit soft and the custard very runny, otherwise lovely food! Will come again.

I've been here a few times. Tried the 16oz Rib-eye Steak. Cooked to perfection and delicious. Was full for pretty much 24 hours afterwards. The weekday 2 course for £20 is okay, but pay the bit extra and get the proper steaks instead. Good service, friendly staff. A little pricey, but well worth it.

First time in Miller and Carter... Recommended a few times but always thought it was too expensive.... Saw lunch deal and used as stop before the airport. Not a bad word to say, food great, service impeccable and price accepted... When I can fit them in I'll eat my words.

The food was brilliant, staff was very friendly and polite, Georgie was really lovely! Would definitely recommend, the best place to get a steak in my opinion.

Chipotle chicken starter very small and not the best cut of chicken wasn't even white inside like chicken and Chips was awfully overcooked and hollow and the onion brick was exactly that deep fried dripping in oil and too hard to eat. The steak was nice pitty the rest didn't live up to the steak Gathering by the negative comments all they say is will pass it on to team but obviously passing it on hasn't changed the food or services! People complain about food and don't get a discount on next visit or asked to contact then to discuss their visit! Just the famous will pass it on to team!!! So tough in other words! FYI if you don't rectify the complaint people won't come back! Asking them to contact u to speak to a human about their visit n possibly a bit of discount might bring customers back for a chance to redeem yourself

Fantastic service, atmosphere and food. Such a great place for family meals as well as couples. Amazing standards like the rest of the Miller and Carter chain. Definitely glad we visited ☺️

I ordered a butcher's block to share at £75. All the meats with the exception of the rump were overcooked. The ribeye was well done and dry. The baby boiled potatoes were not fresh and hada toughened outer skin. I understand there has to be a merk up on drinks, but I don't like paying £30 for a bottle of shiraz I buy in the local Morrisons for £7. I was disappointed overall on this visit, and will be unlikely to go again. It's just not worth the gamble.

We had a really good meal here. The manager gave us a lovely welcome and Mary our waitress was delightful and gave us some great recommendations as it was our first time there. Delicious food all well cooked. We will be back!

Our son and daughter have both told us about Miller & Carter (there is no branch in Northern Ireland) as they often eat in their restaurants while in various cities on the "mainland." So on a short visit to Leeds, we just had to try the restaurant there. We weren't disappointed with the whole experience. Our steaks were cooked exactly as we like them, and having a wide choice of sides and trimmings was a real plus. Desserts added the finishing touch. A word also for our server Gareth, he helped us navigate the menu and was attentive throughout. Can Mr Miller or Mr Carter please visit Belfast to consider setting up a presence here. I'd be happy to show them around.

Had the Butchers Block - amazing! Wine was great served at the perfect temperature. Service was great - thank you Morgan. All together amazing.

We went on Wednesday 10 July for my birthday. This was the first time we had visited the Horseforth site and must say it was the best experience we have had. Mary our server was excellent, very pleasant and could not do enough. The food excellent, cooked to perfection This was a great meal for my Birthday and would highly recommend to everyone.

Friendly service from Lou, with detailed explanations on the menu. Lovely steaks and mocktails. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely meal to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and uni success. The place was lovely and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The manager was friendly and explained the menu etc...then our waitress Lou was very lovely and attentive and recommended dressings etc. The food was delicious...I had scallops and my boyfriend had tasty chicken wings...the meat was so tender and fell off the bone...sauce was delicious. We both had delicious steaks each! We ordered a trio of desserts and Lou even had Happy birthday written on the plate which was a lovely surprise. A great birthday treat for a special person!

Horsforth is a lovely place to visit and the Miller & Carter is always our top choice! Our server Mary was friendly, fun to chat to and made our night much more enjoyable!!! She's a real cool dude 😎

Lovely Father’s Day meal. The Father’s Day special was lovely. I highly recommend the chocolate orange bomb for dessert too. Petra our waitress was really attentive and looked after us.

Quite expensive and they tend to overseas on the steaks. This could be sorted if you request less seasoning. Staff were amazing,especially Megan. Quality of the meat is very good and sharing dessert was great. A much better experience than miller and carter in Leeds or Manchester as the steaks were cooked better and the staff much more attentive.

Nice food and drinks, a little more than usual I like to pay, but the food flavours are very good and worth a bit more than most places. Staff were great and the whole meal was relaxed affair. Tables are a bit crammed in in places and you have to squeeze between other diners when busy to get to the toilets. Lunch time was nice and quiet, evenings get a lot or popular.

Chateaubriand was phenomenal and the lobster tails absolutely incredible. Service was lacking as we had to try and find someone to order more wine and it took a while to get our order in.

Had been looking forward to going here for some time, finally got round to it and wish I hadn't bothered. Was very disappointed with the food. Starter was overcooked, steak was bland. Definitely won't be going here again. Expected something special for £85 for 2 people

The food was amazing, music was Beautiful and we had amazing services from a lovely lady called Alicia I would Highley recommend this place for anyone wanting a good time and delicious food.

Dreadful, overpriced, awful or average food, almost empty for lunchtime service but still items on the menu were out of stock, to top it off, 40 quid a head 😩there are far better and cheaper places to eat.

I've never been here before, and even though I've travelled the world, this is honestly one of the best steak places I've visited. It's one of 2 places where the fat on the steak is buttery and just absolutely beautiful. We were served by Petra, who was warm, welcoming, hospitable and made our visit an enjoyable and hopefully repeatable one!

Chautebriand was absolutely phenomenal and cooked perfectly, lobster tails were to die for and every aspect of the food was perfect. The restaurant was very quiet and this let the atmosphere down, it also made it a little frustrating trying to order drinks and not being able to find someone, to take an order.

The food was cooked perfectly as i got the surf and turf. It isnt cheap but the quality is great.

Food’s always amazing here. The service is immaculate and it’s always a great night out. Last time I reserved a table for my partner’s birthday I booked a birthday package which they said included a dessert with happy birthday written on it but it never came. Whoever took the reservation must not have noted it down but I got him a cake earlier so wasn’t too fussed. Would’ve been a nice treat though.

First time visiting and I will return. The steak cooked to perfection and tasted beautiful. Service was done very professionally with a smile and very pleasant girls. Like I said, I will return.

My wife and I have been visiting your restaurant for many months now. We have always had lovely meals and an excellent and friendly service from Mani.

Overpriced, took an hour for the food to arrive and it didn’t even taste that nice and then you have to pay a tip because they add it onto the total. Definitely not eating here again
