Came to Hooyah for my sisters hen do, Caryss went out of her way to arrange for my sister to have exactly what she wanted for food and drink. Also gave us options where to sit and put air con for us. Lovely and friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere, great menu and amazing food! Highly recommend!

I really liked thier friendly service and food as well especially Shauna was amazing to welcome us to seat in table and showed us all options and I really recommend chief phelly cheese steaks it was so good

Rita was amazing to us earlier today as her customer service skills and welcoming nature made us feel at home. She recommended the lunch time offer which had popular burgers on it and I had the vegan Area -51 burger was well over the moon in how good it was. Would definitely come back here again and recommend others to visit this top independent joint; especially if you love your burgers!

Can't rate this place highly enough. I had the special NYC chopped cheese, and it was one of the greatest things to grace this gob. Go check this place out!

What an amazing place for scrumptious burgers. I loved the burgers there absolutely. We ordered two burgers and I got the chicken one it was Halal and so yummilicious Recommended 10/10 Food 10/10 A bit pricey as compared to Bradford but its leeds 😂

Stumbled across this hidden gem whilst out shopping. The food is spot on...freshly cooked. Can't complain about anything. 2 cocktails for a tenner that were stunning. Lovely young lady serving didn't get her name. But she was so attentive, polite and funny. You can build your own burger which for me is a plus cos I'm so fussy with everything. Great atmosphere. Can't recommend it enough. We will defo return.

Popped in for lunch while I was working in Leeds centre. I had a burger and my colleague had the loaded fries. The food was amazing, and the staff/atmosphere was great. I'll definitely go back now that I know this place exists.

Superb food and a great little place I'd been meaning to return and try a burger here having visited for some fried chicken a few months ago. I remember the staff being really nice so thought it would be a perfect place for me and my girlfriend to enjoy. I had the 'Only Ten-I-Ssee' burger and it was delicious. Plenty of juicy pulled pork piled on tasty beef patties. I enjoyed every bite. My girlfriend had the chicken which she devoured. Too good to share apparently! Good size portions of skin on fries and curly fries. Everything got eaten. Once again the staff were a delight and it was a wonderful eating experience. Previous visit: I only visited for some chicken pieces having already scranned a massive burger elsewhere at lunchtime. The staff were fantastic, really chatty and welcoming. The Korean chicken bites were great. Perfectly cooked chicken. Although as normally the way when it's coated in sauce, the chicken coating had very little crisp to it. Definitely somewhere I'd go again when I'm in Leeds to try a burger next time!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant today between 3 and 5 PM. Not only was the staff incredibly accommodating and friendly, but the food was also fantastic. The highlight for me was the option to customize my own burger by ticking off ingredients—such a fun and personalized way to enjoy a meal! The burgers themselves were incredibly fresh, delicious, and filling. Plus, they're halal, so our entire group could dine together. I highly recommend this place for both the great food and the welcoming atmosphere. Here a video of the food we got.

Probably the best burger place I ever visited. The menu and the way the food you order is very unique. Gives you a lot of choice! Very yummy and the music in there gives proper American vibe! Definitely gonna be back there again!

Recently ordered the burger from Deliveroo and the quality of the burger was horrendous. The patty was bland. The buns were just awful. Not even toasted or grill on the hob. Felt like they have forgotten about this and made the burger feel cold. Fries were good though.

First time dining, great welcome from Rita , a unique ordering service and some great new beer. Get down here, you’ll not regret it. Wish we had one in Scotland.

I do not know how to explain this enough. This is the BEST vegan burger I’ve ever had in my life. Out of all the burger places (vegan & non vegan) this wins. It was so good I ordered the exact same thing 3 nights in a row, and then again a few days later.

Was a fun menu where you can put together your own burger which was great. Lots of good accessories and sides. Very nice service and it's nice to sit up on the second floor. The only downside is the wait for the food, but it was more than worth it!

Visited here recently when staying in Leeds and got a takeaway. Service was quick and staff friendly. Only downside was the chicken tenders, a bit chewy/not a load of flavour but the burger was great.

Had a great lunchtime meal here with Rita being a great host. Opted for a beef burger which was spot on for being filling, was possible to expand if feeling hungrier. Had the loaded fries which was very cheesy and large.

The waitress was attentive and polite, however the burgers (every one at the table) were incredibly dry. Either they are being overcooked or the mince fat ratio is wrong. What should typically be 80:20 seemed more like 95:5 (they were bone dry). I would forgive this of a pub, but not a burger specialist. Inferior to Franksters and 5 guys, and every other comparable burger place ive tried in leeds. A juicy burger is just the basics; very disappointing.

The chicken burger was nice, but the beef burger wasn’t juicy and tasty. It’s too expensive compared with other burger restaurants in Leeds.

Great burgers. Our son built his own, and basically just has a load of meat. I had the Nashville, and my hubby had the Nasville (may a little too hot). All were really tasty. Ate a side of the dirty fries and onion rings, again really good. Staff were excellent and friendly. Love the idea that you tick what you want, rather than having your order taken. Defo try if you want a good burger in Leeds

Front of house Service was outstanding. So friendly and great with my 10 year old. Ordered 3 different burgers and loaded fries. All were delicious. My son wrote his own review on the back of the menu, and the staff put it on the wall for everyone to see. It says, "It puts McDonald's to shame" 🤣 Everything was wonderful. We will be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hooyah Burgers are absolutely delicious! Every bite is packed with flavour, and their burgers are hands down better than Almost Famous. I actually tried AF after I tried HB and I was gutted, so disappointed! I won’t make that mistake again as HB is my go to place now! The quality of the ingredients and the perfect balance of taste make each visit a memorable experience. Highly recommend to all burger lovers! Try it you won’t be disappointed!

Got the spicy chicken burger - huge thing that barely fits a human mouth, and super tasty. Good value, good food, friendly, chill vibe to the place. There's plenty of great burger joints in Leeds and this is one of them.

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was brilliant and arrived in less than 10 minutes. Definitely the best burgers i’ve had in England so far. 10/10 I would definitely recommend it to anybody.

We went here today on a recommendation that was given to us, Hooyah came highly recommended so we thought we would give it a try. I can honestly say the food was amazing, very flavourful and generous with the portion size. The staff were just as amazing, as we hadn’t eaten there before we asked them what they would recommend and everything was spot on. All 7 of us really enjoyed what we had and all 7 of us would highly recommend Hooyah!

Hooyah is the perfect treat when craving a burger and fries. The staff are welcoming and friendly, top notch customer service 👍 during lunch the atmosphere can be a little more relaxed and in the evenings it's a great restaurant vibe. Great food that can cater to a wide range of budgets, from decent portions of nibbles to full on meals that are all equally delicious. I highly recommend this place, my favourite is their classic Hooyah dirty curly fries, spot on 😋

One of the best burgers I have ever had- the buttermilk chicken one with some add ons! Its easy to choose ingredients to build your own burger. They have gluten free buns, the staff is lovely and there is a very nice stylized atmosphere of an American diner. Will definitely be back

We happened to stumble onto this place whist visiting Leeds. The food was amazing, was very impressed. Me and my boyfriend had a burger each and shared a loaded fried. We were both stuffed! Cocktails and beer were soo nice. 2 cocktails for £10 can't go wrong with that! We were happily surprised by how affordable it all was. Staff are very friendly and approachable. Had a lovely chat with them and was made to feel so welcome! Found our new place to go everytime we are in Leeds. Would even travel from Liverpool just to eat there again. This is a great little place. I ended up here while looking for somewhere else. I am so glad I did not find the other place. Nice friendly staff, with extremely tasty food. I will definitely be visiting here again while I'm in Leeds.
