An amazing place to enjoy a massive burger and have a good time.

Good food but waiter was rude. Was trying to ask a question about the food. Not only did the waiter not answer the question but got more aggressive. Would not go again or recommend

Went for lunch. They do a pretty worth lunchtime deal with an option of loaded fries or burger or wrap with a drink. Quality of the burgers are decent, I do think the buns are slightly too bready though compared to the patty ratio. Fries are good and chunk and you can tell they’re homemade. Nothing else to fault!

I came here with my fiancée once on a weekend, and the burgers, fries and other sides were incredible. There was a lot of choice and customisation on the menu, so there are plenty of options. I'll most definitely be coming back!

First time last night and wow. The loaded fries are the best I have ever had. Southern fried chicken on top, cheese ousing, spring onions and pickles. So so good. The side of chicken tenders went down a treat and the main event, the burger. Perfect. Not too big and messy. Not too many ingredients. Great place.

We used to go to almost famous with work it was our place to go and then it shut for whatever reason and we tried to find somewhere else to go. Never in a million years would we think we would find something on a par let alone better, the burgers at Hooyah are unreal, they’re absolutely incredible!! And the staff are amazing. Can’t sing their praises enough

I arrived from Australia yesterday and this is my first meal in Leeds as it’s my son’s favourite place to eat. He’s Vegan, I am not and the menu catered to both of us. Great atmosphere, music, food and service! The lady at front of house is perfect.

Really good and juicy juicy burgers but it's a bit dark and the kitchen is too close to the customers, so it gets hot and a bit hard to breathe with the smell of oil and onions

We came here and were greeted and seated upstairs as we had requested. We chose this restaurant after seeing it for a while and wanted to see if they were the best burgers in Leeds (as it is advertised at the door). It's a very clean restaurant and the upstairs area is dark and cosy. The decor is really nice with cool lighting - the seating upstairs was comfy and had good sized tables. It's a very relaxed atmosphere to sit and chill during a meal or just for some drinks. We chose to build our own burgers and they give you a paper menu and a pen to select from the different categories from buns, types of burgers, different cheeses, salads, sauces and extras which was really good because you can have it exactly as you'd like it, with so many options to choose from rather than a bog standard burger menu elsewhere. We ordered the food and it did take some time but at least you know it's fresh. We ordered the "might be too hot Kentucky" loaded fries. And they were insanely spicy! This is not a complaint. We usually order spicy expecting that it won't really be spicy but these will make you sweat ! It's a good sized portion and we found it adequate for sharing with good flavour that wasn't overwhelmed by the spice. The burgers were great - the beef patties were a little dry but as a whole with everything else on the burger - very tasty. I chose to have bacon, hash brown, ranch sauce, nacho cheese, American cheese, tomato and red onion so as you can imagine it was huge and had a lot of flavour. We really enjoyed our meal -the service was excellent and welcoming. The price for two was not cheap but not overly expensive. I would say it is my favourite burger in Leeds so it lived up to it's claim of the best burger in Leeds. Definetly worth checking out and we will be back to try the chicken burgers.

Visited Hooyah today at lunchtime to meet an old work pal. Firstly, it was early so not too busy. Service was attentive, friendly and so chilled. The lady who served us was lovely and really friendly, with a warm and welcoming personality but also a little edge, which is great! Food was incredible too. We had a Nashville hot Chicken burger and a Smash burger. Both were incredibly tasty and freshly cooked. We also got the loaded fries with chicken. Again excellent. Portions were big even though the lunchtime burgers are meant to be slightly smaller. At just over £20 for two of us, exceptional value.

Food was properly good, resturant themed really well and a comfy atmosphere. Staff friendly too. Reccomend!

Really nice second visit to Hooyah burger. Little wait to be served, but it was a Saturday night. Nice music and atmosphere. Great quality food, lovely fresh crunchy salad, char grilled burgers and competitive prices, given it's in a city centre. Beer selection was not bad either.

Burgers were absolutely unreal. I've been all over for smash burgers and these are 10/10 even sold craft beer

Poor service Burgers wasn’t as great as I expected especially the veg ones. Barbecue fries were good. Chicken wings order was mixed up. The cheese for one of the burgers was not even melting, was solid and just broke off when touched. I honestly feel it was too expensive for a burger even with the tagline of being best in town. There was not enough sauces or toppings too. I wouldn’t recommend this to a vegetarian at least.

We dropped in for some food near closing time. The woman who served us and the 2 cooks were brilliant, they could have turned us away with how late we arrived. Instead, they gave us excellent service, were super friendly and helpful, and didn't try to rush us. I will definitely be coming back to try more food. Best burger I’ve ever had! I’d consider myself quite cultured/experienced in foods around the world, and I can’t say I’ve ever eaten a better burger. I was quite happy to pay £15+ when I walked in but happily found most to be between £11-13 mark, the beers are great also, between £4-6, they serve craft beers in cans, but they are from all around the world and imported in, so I don’t mind paying those prices at all! Back onto the food, amazing, next time I’m in Leeds I’ll be making sure to come back, you’re missing out if not!

Every time I’m in Leeds I go to Hooyah. Whether it’s in person or delivery. This place is AMAZING. Amazing food, amazing staff. Always feel welcome and not rushed. You gotta get the Kentucky Fries. They literally changed my life.

Me and my wife had never been to Hooyah’s before but had heard great things about them online. We were greeted by a lovely lady who explained how to build our own burgers. I had the most delicious beef, bacon, egg and nacho cheese burger ever! Top burger, top staff and top place! Highly recommended!

My son and I called in Hooyah Burgers, today 20.1.25 for lunch. It was lovely and warm when we entered. The style was a cozy, a little quirky and clean and tidy. The lady who served us was so helpful, polite, friendly and explained the menu. The chef who made our Burgers,Chips 1 Chicken and 1 Vegan, it was a work of art, the size, taste and price was great. My son also had a lovely Cookie Milkshake made by the friendly waitress, it's size and style was immpressive and the taste was delicious. I am looking forward to bringing my family again.

Fab location and atmosphere. Food was off the charts in quality, great service time also. 2 burgers had, one with pulled pork and other was made using the "Create Your Own" menu. it was a dark winter night, 5th january 2025 (happy new year). our group was venturing in the thick blanket of snow. arctic foxes preyed on the weak, the wolves got us. yet we persisted. 5 men down, 3 women in custody of the wolves. yet all we wanted, was a hearty feast after our pereless journey. hooyah, you delivered that. you saved our weak survivors (not the fox prey) love it. also get the tennessee burger it bangs

Came here on a recommendation, and we were BLOWN AWAY. The menu was so exciting, lots of ways to create your burger. The food was exceptional, tasted incredible. The service was a bit slow as the restaurant was busy, and we had a slightly longer wait on our food, no checkbacks and noone came to offer us drinks. Probably the best burgers in Leeds!

Absolutely amazing food husband had the biggest burger ever seen and I honestly had the best salad I’ve ever had they offer loads of lunch deals and the lady serving us was so friendly and approachable helping us order as we hadn’t been before! Would definitely recommend and definitely be back

A girly family shopping afternoon to Leeds was topped off by the amazing service at Hooyah. The staff could not do enough for us, the manager was so helpful in helping us decipher the menu and how to order. It was worth the wait, my burger was the best ive ever had. We also got a portion of pulled pork loaded fries, wow, the portion was huge, enough for two. I Would definitely recommend this cute little place. We will be back x

We walked in off the street not knowing what to expect. It was apparently the best burger in Leeds. As Americans, we have a pretty high standard on burgers. It actually was really good and allows you to get the stuff you want on it. The fries were awesome and the staff were very kind and attentive. I would recommend it!
