Hooyah Burgers in Leeds

Every time I’m in Leeds I go to Hooyah. Whether it’s in person or delivery. This place is AMAZING. Amazing food, amazing staff. Always feel welcome and not rushed. You gotta get the Kentucky Fries. They literally changed my life.

Burgers were amazing. Create your own a lovely touch. Service could have been better especially as was quite quiet at the time. But still, will return.

Me and my wife had never been to Hooyah’s before but had heard great things about them online. We were greeted by a lovely lady who explained how to build our own burgers. I had the most delicious beef, bacon, egg and nacho cheese burger ever! Top burger, top staff and top place! Highly recommended!

My son and I called in Hooyah Burgers, today 20.1.25 for lunch. It was lovely and warm when we entered. The style was a cozy, a little quirky and clean and tidy. The lady who served us was so helpful, polite, friendly and explained the menu. The chef who made our Burgers,Chips 1 Chicken and 1 Vegan, it was a work of art, the size, taste and price was great. My son also had a lovely Cookie Milkshake made by the friendly waitress, it's size and style was immpressive and the taste was delicious. I am looking forward to bringing my family again.

Great burger! this place has been on my radar! Lani made us feel very welcome, and the service was excellent.. We had the Hooyah burger super tasty well cooked and presented.. flavour in every mouthful.. Really good independent burger joint, good atmosphere and tunes, warm and welcoming!

Lovely and quiet place. The order was customised for most of us and was very quick. Absolutely lovely food and big size portions.

Fab location and atmosphere. Food was off the charts in quality, great service time also. 2 burgers had, one with pulled pork and other was made using the "Create Your Own" menu. Fair pricing for the quality. One of the best burgers I have ever had, lovely chips, chicken, house sauces and more. Staff were welcoming and smiley throughout. Brilliant establishment, will come back again.

it was a dark winter night, 5th january 2025 (happy new year). our group was venturing in the thick blanket of snow. arctic foxes preyed on the weak, the wolves got us. yet we persisted. 5 men down, 3 women in custody of the wolves. yet all we wanted, was a hearty feast after our pereless journey. hooyah, you delivered that. you saved our weak survivors (not the fox prey) love it. also get the tennessee burger it bangs

Came here on a recommendation, and we were BLOWN AWAY. The menu was so exciting, lots of ways to create your burger. The food was exceptional, tasted incredible. The service was a bit slow as the restaurant was busy, and we had a slightly longer wait on our food, no checkbacks and noone came to offer us drinks. Probably the best burgers in Leeds!

Absolutely amazing food husband had the biggest burger ever seen and I honestly had the best salad I’ve ever had they offer loads of lunch deals and the lady serving us was so friendly and approachable helping us order as we hadn’t been before! Would definitely recommend and definitely be back

A girly family shopping afternoon to Leeds was topped off by the amazing service at Hooyah. The staff could not do enough for us, the manager was so helpful in helping us decipher the menu and how to order. It was worth the wait, my burger was the best ive ever had. We also got a portion of pulled pork loaded fries, wow, the portion was huge, enough for two. I Would definitely recommend this cute little place. We will be back x

We walked in off the street not knowing what to expect. It was apparently the best burger in Leeds. As Americans, we have a pretty high standard on burgers. It actually was really good and allows you to get the stuff you want on it. The fries were awesome and the staff were very kind and attentive. I would recommend it!

Ordered the festive loaded fries and was presented with an overcooked, sloppy mess with missing pigs in blankets. I tagged them about it, which the completely ignored. Not the first time they have shown a complete lack of care for quality and consistency.

Whilst visiting Leeds for the weekend we stumbled across this little burger restaurant and we are glad we gave it a try. The burgers were delicious, staff were friendly and service was quick.

Burgers are spicy, juicy and a treat! Was thrilled to have found this place. Although the chicken and beef are halal, there’s pork on the menu as well. The onion rings are only so-so wouldn’t try it, given there are other options as well m!

Burger was 5 stars. Ordered 6 beers, 1 of them was warm and we had to return it. Ordered fries with burger which we didn't get. The premises smelled extremely of fried food.

Received 3 burgers with basically all batter, no meat, just oil between bread with some spicy sauce. Terrible service. Had to get up and go to the counter ourselves to pay so we could leave. Massively overrated

Nash ville burger is excellent. Fried chicken is crispy outside, juicy inside and good spicy, perfectly matched with passion fruit smoothie. One thing to improve is the sauce in burger. The chicken is crispy, but the sauce made it soggy after some time. The air circulation need to be improved at the seats near the kitchen.

Hooyah Burger is where you go not just for the food but for a memorable dining experience. The staff at hooyah deserve awards for their service if management is reading this please do your best to reward everyone on shift especially elodie and Iani.

Atmosphere was lovely and the food was decent. Rita our server on the other hand can definitely improve in her professional approach as a server. When asked to bring our missing drink she cut our conversation midway and bluntly instructed to wait until she was able to manage the orders. By the time the time the drink arrived we had nearly finished our meals and instead we were blamed for the delay since we apparently hadn’t mentioned what drink we wanted, which we did😂 When paying the bill, we were almost verbally forced to complete the review and she went on to explain how she would bully customers or even force them to put reviews down which we all personally felt a little uncomfortable with, aside from this I would recommend ordering in from here or swinging by for a quick bite if you’re in a rush but definitely not a place to bring friends and family until service standard is improved, Bon Appetite everyone !

The food was absolutely delicious, but the service was non existent unfortunately. We sat upstairs but our waitress was too busy talking to a table of her friends who came in, so we had to bring our menus downstairs to order our food and drink. After waiting 25 minutes for 4 drinks, I had to go down and ask for them again. About 15 minutes after that our food arrived. Once we had finished, we again had to go down to pay our bill as there seemed to be no servers who wanted to come up the stairs to look after the upstairs table. Lovely food, but won't be going back due to bad service

Amazing little gem in Leeds. They claim 'The best burger in Leeds' and you can see why.... Massive variety and the burgers are to die for. Really good portion's too. If you love your burgers you can't go wrong here. They were extremely accommodating for the coeliac member of our group too. We mentioned about coeliac as we entered and they prepped the kitchen ready, to ensure the food was all cooked correctly and on-time. The staff are really friendly and will do anything for you. Next time I visit Leeds, I know where we're going for food!
