Hosted our wedding brunch and we had a lovely time. Great drinks, nice food, lovely staff, and an area all to ourselves. Highly recommended. Especially the TFG.

Held my 60th at Springwell. We had exclusive use of the mezanine, There was no cost but we had to spend £500 at the bar. Had about 40 attending so this wasnt a problem, and they were comfortably accommodated on the mezzanine What a fabulous place. Booking was easy, everyone we met from Springwell was friendly and helpful. Great beer, but also wine spirits and non alcoholic options. Little Bao Boy provided the food. Worked really well as I arranged it so my guests ordered over the night and I settled up the bill at the end. So everyone could get what they wanted when they wanted. I think everyone who attended thought it was a great place for a do, with a lot of character.

I recently placed an order with the online store - there was a small stock issue with my order that meant the purchased beer wasn't available. However, the team at NM were quick to get in touch, let me know the problems and offer a refund or a replacement beer for the same price. Great customer service and the beer was very good as well. Thank you all!

I came here with my boyfriend for a couple of pints in the sunshine. That sunshine quickly turned to rain, but we didn't let that dampen our spirits. We stayed outside throughout, watching as less courageous punters fled inside to take shelter. The pints were lovely. We also got food from the little van. We got bao buns, loaded fries and gyoza - all delicious. Unfortunately, we did have to wait the best part of an hour for food (including queuing to order). At least when it did finally arrive we weren't left disappointed. It would be brilliant if I could return here for a proper brewery tour.

Had the absolute pleasure of working with Ash and Gaby to host my friends hen party in the mezzanine. The communication before the event was great and they helped to answer any questions. On the day Ash was amazing really helped us with anything we needed and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted on the day. I would recommend anyone to host an event upstairs in the mez it was amazing and everyone helped to make the night so special for all of us! We had catering supplied from Pocco who had a food van outside and it all went down so well. There was also food from Little Bao boy which always goes down well with our group!

Great venue, beer and super friendly staff! Gabby did an amazing job at getting us booked in. It’s our new regular spot for sure!!

Great vibe and Gabby the Manager is superb. Really friendly and accommodating and on both occasions we have visited, she has gone out of her way to ensure we have a table! Top service and great little venue.

Epic range of beers and what a venue to serve them in. Ample indoor and outdoor seating, epic for sporting events. Also want to mention how cracking the staff are here, friendly and efficient.

Really decent place, amazing beer… totally cool place, spot on, staff great too .. … but christ the music is far too loud… you have to sit inside upstairs in the corner to hear your self think….I’m not sure if you know this people of north, but we came to north to sit and chat …. We didn’t mistake it for a disco… we pay a fair whack to sip and converse, not to chug like it’s a weather-spoons happy hour before we throw up to some lady gaga hack song , it is unbelievable how loud the music is, If you’re music is Louder than me talking to a guest …you are not paying attention to the atmosphere….. it should be under the radar not sitting in my ear with a megaphone

Nice enough place but still ultimately a factory on an industrial site - certainly not nice enough to warrant charging £50 for a £15 bottle of wine. Won’t be returning.

A really nice brewery with really friendly staff. There is a great pub connected to the brewery which has a great selection of drinks at a reasonable price. A nice place to spend an afternoon.

Pub looks very cool inside, with a lot of craft (regional) beer to try. The prices are good with all of those types of beers! The pub is for gourmets and those looking for new flavors. Oh, I forgot to add that there is live music.

Had a brewery tour hosted by Michael and I can't thank him enough ! Such a passionate, friendly , knowledgeable guy . Definitely made our Saturday one to remember 😊👌🏻 Springwells has such a nice, inviting and relaxed atmosphere with the best beer selection !

North is really emblematic for how horizontal market expansions can happen without detracting from the quality of the produce (even the Monk started making maltwater). Top taste, really satisfying, sometimes even hitting below supermarket prices of competitors. Absolutely great company, hopefully it expands more, while keeping the quality.

We went for the brewery tour - overall it was great, really interesting and Michael our tour guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic which truly made the tour. At the end tried 3 different half-pints- I really liked the '8 times around the sun' gose- so tasty! Also really enjoyed the bao buns onsite afterwards :)

We had the best brewery tour with Michael, he was so enthusiastic and energetic and you could tell he was so passionate about beer and chemistry. We could have talked to him for hours. He let us pick three beers at the end to taste based on our preferences. I completely recommend booking a beer tour at Springwell! We’ve been to a few before and none were as informative or led by a more knowledgeable and friendly person as this one!

We went with some friends for the brewery tour and it was absolutely fantastic. We’ve been on a lot of these type of tours and this takes the number one spot as the best yet (by some distance!) Our tour guide Michael was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about both the brewing process and the science behind it. His passion for the industry and beer was infectious and had me debating changing careers an becoming a brewer! The bar, street food and outdoor seating are all amazing too.

I've recently started with the monthly beer subscription and I was absolutely loving it, ran into a slightly issue with a delivery. And customer service is where you find out whether a company is bad and or good, and North Brewing excelled in their customer service. After me sending a email, I got a almost instant honest reply and a resolution within a day. It was absolutely top notch service, Rosie in customer service was a please to deal with. Left me feeling like a valued customer. 10/10 well done

Great spot: craft beer made in Yorkshire; pretty kid friendly; boa buns and tasty fries; relaxed, friendly atmosphere; did I mention the beer. Very much enjoyed our visit. Would happily return.

Came for a comedy night. Fabulous venue for it with the tiered seating, and the beers are great. I didn’t use the food truck but the grub coming out looked and smelled lovely too.

We chose Springwell for our wedding party and we couldn’t have wished for better! My husband(!) took me here for a brewery tour on my birthday and we fell in love with the venue. We booked them the second we heard they did events! Two weeks before the big day, I had a phone call from Gabby, who told us she was going to be looking after our wedding. She helped us to plan the space in meticulous detail with boundless enthusiasm and I knew we’d be in great hands. On the night, I didn’t even have to order a drink at the bar, she made sure to replace my drink as soon it was low - I felt like a celebrity! The bar staff on the night were amazing and so friendly too. We couldn’t have wished for better. All we’ve talked about since is when we’ll be planning our next party here! Fantastic space, great range of beer and cocktails. On a sunny day the courtyard is the place to be, with little bao boy food van and plenty of benches. Family and dog friendly, staff lovely too. 🍻

Had a fantastic night drinking beers and cocktails with a variety of fresh hot food and a live band .It doesnt get better, it was the first time they have had the beer festival here and i hope its not the last The staff managed everything amazingly, very little waiting to be served

Springwell is a fabulous craft beer location run and owned by North Brewing Co, which is on the same location and on a rough guess has over 20 taps on at any one time, i didn't see any cask. I was lucky enough when i went to enjoy the beer festival that was on with some of the countries leading breweries pouring including Cloudwater, Queer Brewing, Duration and many more. A very pleasant place that is well worth a visit.

Got married here last week. Bar staff and Josh could not have done more to make it such a special day. A lovely chilled atmosphere and got so many compliments on the venue. Everyone loved the beer and range and the food from Little Bao Boy. A perfect day.

Very nice brewery in industrial style with chill out vibes. Good choice of beers. Oh the smoked one is the best I've ever had. Staff is very friendly and attentive. In a nice sunny day there is a plenty of seats outside as well.

I went in a large group to celebrate a friends birthday. The beer is nice and there is a good selection to chose from. The main issue I had was that I was pretty cold all night and that's probably due to the bar and seating etc. being part of the beer making production site. I was stood under a heater, but it can't have been on very high, as I was so cold. We try to support local businesses, but I don't understand where they get their prices from. £4.50 for a 330ml can of alcohol free beer. No tax paid and for me is just a rip off. The Aperol spritzer was £7 and not even branded, but poured from a tap behind the bar. I just think these places do not appreciate the financial pressures everyone is under and when I add up how much we spent over the course of the evening. It makes going out a very expensive. The food was a nice change, but again the Bao buns just a tad high for what you get. Albeit the first time I have had them, they were nice. But they don't make me want to go back again. My friends informed me the pilsner was very nice and other than a few who had bought beers that were too fruity etc. it was more the poor selection than the quality of the beer. The good beer stopped me scoring a poor rating. I know some will say you get what you pay for. But this is my experience and feeling after being there. I and others won't be going back, due to the cost, so this is more to give constructive feedback.

Great food, great beer, a little chilly

Visited for The Springwell Sessions. Loads of amazing beers available from loads of different breweries. Great food venders at site too. Would love to revisit when there’s not an event on as it was extremely busy.

Went to the Springwell sessions and it was a great way to spend the afternoon. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious and there was a fantastic choice of beers. I'll definitely be going back at the next opportunity

Amazing atmosphere and great beer

I love this place HOWEVER! The seats are only good for 30 mins. The beer is incredible but anyone over 29 needs more lumbar support than a picnic bench can offer. Please please can you consider adding some additional tables with proper seats?

Very cool venue, spent most of the day there. Great atmosphere with a hugely varied mix of people, from young kids to elderly people, all enjoying the chilled out vibe. Great service from a lovely team, good beers and food. Can’t wait to go back when we’re next in Leeds.

We visited for vegan food day. We're not local, and hadn't been before. We loved it. Great choice of drinks, brilliant, friendly and attentive staff, and the choice of vegan and gluten free food was brill - and very delicious! We'd definitely go again!

Exceptional service! Don't like going to the bar? No problem, a member of staff will ensure you have a drink before you even know you need one. Josh even charged my e cig for me and has good knowledge of the menu, answered all our groups questions. Cant fault this place really.

Amazing beer selection and great atmosphere

Springwell is excellent for beer, and the atmosphere is good too, always busy and generally has music on. Definitely on the pricey side so be prepared to pay 5-6 quid for a pint, but the selection is great and very tasty. The staff are great as well, very friendly and if they see you at about a third of a pint left they tend to ask if you want another bringing to your table which is absolutely ideal. Everyone always mentions the food, and it is decent, but when you're already paying 12 quid for 2 small bao buns and chips, trying to charge an extra quid for a squirt of ketchup on your chips is taking the mick.

Definitely worth the trip out here away from their central bars as it is a lovely tap room with good indoor and outdoor space and helpful staff who come and serve you at your table if you want (unusual in a taproom)

I really enjoyed their “sours” selection. Extra bonus are the little bao boy buns that go well with it! It’s a great place for large groups and afternoon drinks. Also, it’s dog-friendly!

Great place to drink. Industrial building turned into a brewery and tap. Excellent beers most brewed on site. Usually a small choice of cask beer, but a large choice of craft (keg) beers and lagers. Food trucks outside are great. Definitely worth a look.

Situated at the bottom of Buslingthorpe Lane, close to The Primrose pub, this spacious, modern, brewery tap, is the latest North Bar tentacle. It has a large outdoor seating area. As one might expect, it is frequented by posh 'craft ale' types, and their dogs. Great range of beers, good service, but no cash taken.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good range of craft ales but no choice of bitter during our visit. Street food outlets outside and you are allowed to eat their food in the brewery. We had a good fun evening.

They have an amazing selection of beers and we enjoyed the few that we tried. Also excellent food from Little Bao Boy. Can't wait to visit again!

First visit to the new brewery. The tap room is nice and although we didn’t do the brewery tour, we did do one at the old brewery which was great. Beer and food was great. Only issue is that it was pretty cold in there. One of the staff said the heating was in full!!! They might need a new heating system then 😅

Wow! What an amazing place for a few drinks! The taproom inside is stunning and the range of beers on offer are all first-class. The outdoor space is brilliant too and there's a really relaxed, friendly atmosphere at Springwell.

Wonderful building and atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. The variety of beers brewed on site is impressive and there is something for everyone's taste. Two eateries on site for wonderful bao buns and burgers make it an enjoyable daytime or nightime venue.

We all know the North Brewing beer is superb, whichever of the many brews, collabs and updates you choose. However, that is only part of a business. The other key component is the team and how they interact with their customers. My most recent order appeared to be a challenge for the delivery company, delaying the arrival date considerably. As soon as I contacted North Brewing I was greeted by Robert who apologised, reassured me he would sort it and then proceeded to do just that. It is not difficult, but so many companies get it wrong. So, thank you North Brewing for the fab beer and big up the Robert for 5* customer service.

Just about every main stay beer was not available including Pinata, Atlantis, Open space and Transmission, was told would be available in circa 10 mins and 2 hours later still not available, food was average burger not as good as previously and crinkle cut chips again left by everyone there, could have drunk beers in cans but what's the point as I have plenty of them at home and the shole point is they are brewed on site, small servings of the strong beers don't work as the beer cannot be pulled correctly and even the pints not pulled like at salt or magic rock, a real shame as a beer lover living local but sound rather drive an hour to Saltaire or Huddersfield to get what you expect and want although good music DJ etc every time I've been and a nice atmosphere but no pont in a brewery with no brewed beer available on tap

Tip... book! Parking is tight but plenty of space 2 min away. Scan the Table QR code and order beers (and spirits, wine or food). Drinks are a little slow when it's busy so double up / order in advance of needing a refill. Good 🍻 beers. Music, inside and outside seating, toilets... better than most!

So happy we could finally make it to Springwell. We went for an early lunch and a hope for a couple of brews. We were not disappointed. The staff were really friendly, and even whipped up a Bloody Mary when we asked! The beer selection is extensive. And the Bao's were as delectable as ever. My partner ordered a bacon burger and was not disappointed. The location is stunning. Even indoors, because of the high ceilings, you feel like you're sitting somewhere airy and safe. There's also merch available on site which will fully treated ourselves to. We will definitely be going back for more.

Great space inside and out but only 1 cask beer (which IMHO isn't great). Other beers better but keg so cold and fizzy. Well worth a visit though. Food looked good but not tried it.

Wow. It doesn’t take a Jeenius to work out how to show a football match on more than one tv at once. Don’t go for the footy what ever you do! Surely you don’t need to be a geenious to show a football match. Disappointed doesn’t even come close! And some guy was booing the knee! *Chips wa nice tho

I'm a long-time North Bar regular, but don't drink in the bars as much as in the past. They're always on top of their game, and there's no doubt this place will be a success, but it has that pretentious craft ale/middle -class/hipster vibe in spades.

Been to Springwell now it is open. It is wonderful. The outside area in massive and well equipped for all weathers and the inside in stunning. Goes without saying that the staff are attentive and extremely friendly. On a side not, my wife and I have been to New York a few times and we both said that this new Springwell North Bar has vibes of the Brooklyn Brewery and the Evil Twin Brewery combined. I couldn't be happier with what they have achieved and it is so close to my house. Well done North, you have done Leeds proud.

A lovely first time spent at Norths new brewery. The only drawback was where we were in the shelter, our table was back to back with another. I kept getting elbowed! Apart from that, good beer, good service and the toilets are lovely and clean..

When we needed a shelter (from the rain) were you there, were you there? When we needed a shelter were you there... And the name or the colour or the dankness didnt matter, you were there. We got on our knees and prayed to the beer gods for a dry day with some delicious beers and my word they did not disappoint. They provided shelter from the elements while titillating our taste buds with nectar from the heavens themselves. Our palate was tested but what we didn't expect was for our brains to get a similar workout. Step forwards May. May we have asked for a better bar-tender in the month of May? No we May not. May was a delight and she gave us a mental workout harder than trying to split a bill here with our mate Thomas who only drinks 3% beer. Would we come back? Yes we May...

Have visited a couple of times since they opened (seated outside). The beer choice is extensive and all the brews are top quality. Food is sorted by Little Bao Boy and is amazing and really goes well with the beers. Staff are very attentive and friendly and were able to confidently talk through the beer. Inside looks great as well so will look forward to when we’re allowed in.

My experience with North Brewing was 5 stars and always has been 5 stars. The staff and the beer are both fantastic. However I do have a few point of constructive criticism. I booked a table for 2 people over a month ago but today we were put on a table with another household that we didn't know. This would usually be okay but the other household were sat less than half a meter away from us. This was extremely uncomfortable for me as I haven't been vaccinated and I would expect that other people were socially distanced from me. We were also not aware that we would be put on another table with another household, in a pandemic, this is quite uncomfortable and we wouldn't have booked it otherwise. It was especially disappointing as I had to raise the issue myself to them (politely) and they seemed really unhappy/offended which was really awkward for me. It shouldn't be left to us to raise any social distancing issues as this was extremely uncomfortable for us, especially as it was just to look after our safety. Other venues allow you to discern whether you are placed on a table with others so I do not understand how it isn't the same here. I shouldn't have to share the risks that other households have taken, i have made so many sacrifices during the pandemic and I really want to keep myself and others safe. The tables in the shed/marquee at the top left of the outdoor seating were less than 20cm away from each other so I really don't understand how social distancing could have been maintained there and I am a bit disappointed that North Brewing encouraged this despite social distancing guidelines not changing. North Brewing has fantastic beers and staff and that is why I thought this was important to note

Unfortunately I found the woman allocating the tables very unfriendly. In fact so unfriendly that we left as felt very unwelcome.

Lovely venue, highly reccomend. They had great service, all the staff were really friendly and helpful, big up our waiter Andre he was fab!!
