Had a gift voucher for afternoon tea for two at the tearooms.
Probably the best food we’ve had. Made on site and very fresh. Staff very helpful and friendly.
This is a small rural building which apparently used to be the farm’s chicken sheds. If you want luxury silver service it won’t be for you but definitely couldn’t fault the food. Price is fairly high.
Delicious fresh cooked food with generous portions in a historical setting ( the old school). Very friendly service and as we were the last ones to leave we had the privilege of talking to the owners all about Greece. It was a really enjoyable evening and good value too! Would highly recommend.
According to my very fussy 7 year old granddaughter, this is the best fish & chip shop in the whole wide world!! and I agree that it is the best that I have visited too. They do a childs portion of sausage, chips and gravy for £2.50 and they always give her a lolly. We have actually been using this chippy for years although we have two chip shops closer to us, their food is not as tasty and not as good value as this one so it is worth the extra distance.
We have been to sohas a few times now and the food has always been lovely , fresh , hot and extremely good value for money. The staff are very friendly and you can take your own drinks will definitely be going again.

The chips are anemic and raw , the fish is defo frozen fish not fresh and is so greasy and the kebab is like something off the bottom of your shoe definitely will not be using again
Took my mom for afternoon tea today and it was lovely! Food was amazing and got to pick my own cake to go with the rest of the afternoon tea. Staff were kind and attentive will definitely be coming back. Gluten free option for my mom was amazing.
Pleasant surroundings outside, unfortunately the food was not too a
very high standard. Ham and piccalilli sandwich, ham tasteless (wafer thin and breaded, supermarket family pack springs to mind). Should have been advertised as a Piccalilli sandwich, Coffee was fine.

Came here for a meal with family for a birthday last night (25/10/24).
The food was fantastic, full of flavour and fresh, but the service, lacks severely.
It took nigh on 15 minutes to present us with the bill, to which we reviewed and found they had added £10+. We looked at the menu we were presented with when entering and found that they had increased each meal we had by £2.
Yes, £2 isn't too much of an increase, but it is the principal of it. Without any prior notice, they had increased the prices without changing it on the menu we were handed.
They also said the card machine was not working, even though we saw a customer (who happened to be my uncle) come in and pay on card (via contactless) as he had no cash.
It's such a shame to be honest. The food itself as aforementioned is brilliant, but the service from the 'manager' is disappointing and very poor. He did not even apologise for trying to pull the wool over our eyes with the prices.
Check your final bill when it comes to the table and make sure nothing has been added on.
Just been here for a coffee and cake. Fantastic place, very quaint. The garden centre seems to get bigger as you walk round and you have to try the scones and chocolate crunch. Brilliant place, recommended.
