Coffee#1 in Coventry

I ordered a Gingerbread Latte, a bacon bap and an Oat and Raisin biscuit for delivery. The delivery was on time and delivered with care. No complaints there. When I opened up my order the Oat and Raisin Biscuit wasn't there. Three items in the order and they couldn't get that right. Wow. When I went online to report this, they refunded my money and said it would take 3-10 business days. Are you taking the P. I used to work at Friargate so used to go to Coffee #1 regularly. It's always been a really slow service, and it's over priced. I wont be using them again - ever. They've had so many chances with me and failed miserably on many occasions.

We just wanted hot drinks: there was a reasonable (but not extensive) range available. Service was friendly-enough. They dont offer semi-skimmed milk (odd) but were willing to provide a milk mix for us. There is a fair amount of seating indoors but quite a lot more outside. They offer a take-away service too

Great vibe, great staff, reasonable prices and good range of vegan alternatives - nothing to complain about - and right by the tourist info centre - PERFECT!

A coffee shop I go to almost every day. In the morning, I order a mocha for breakfast, and in the afternoon, I have a latte or plain white. The coffee making equipment is top notch and the service is very good. Because of my poor English, I often made jokes, but they did not feel bothered by this, instead, they confirmed with me patiently.

Even though the barista was busy, he made me away of this and dealt with me as soon as he could. Great service

If you're travelling through Coventry Station, make this your coffee stop point. Obviously being Coffee #1, expect friendly service, great selection and a fantastic app payment system too (be sure to stack up those loyalty points). Big fan of Coffee #1 and great to see...

Thank goodness the other cafés I went to to kill an hour before my next job were shut. Only been here once before but I'll definitely be back. Why is most coffee in this country overpriced dishwater? Not here. What a relief. Decent strength of coffee without having to request (& pay for) a double shot. Good quality and amount of dense froth on my cappuccino. No wishy washy glorified milky latte. And a reasonable price too especially if you bring your own cup Nice looking selection of food. Friendly staff. Light airy space, peaceful & relaxed with non intrusive background noise. (my other gripe! If I want a disco /bar I can go there!). Highly recommended.

I love popping in here and getting a snack or lunch as part of my work day. The coffee is fantastic but I'd highly recommend trying out the hot chocolates! Great selection of cakes and food. The Welsh cakes are fab!

We normally support independent coffee shops but we were walking into the city from the railway station and this was the first place we came across. It has a pleasant character interior with some good outside space and did not feel as impersonal as some of the chain coffee shops.

A decent local coffee shop that based upon one visist appears to give quite decent service. The staff were reasonably friendly and helpful. The place is kept reasonably clean. It has a nice quirky look inside and the prices are what you would expect for the area.

Love that this place is part of a local chain. Starbucks and Costa move over.

Visited here today on the advice of my Grandaughter who works in the offices above, The young man behind the counter recommended the columbian coffee which was delicious, I also had a chicken and green pesto panini, this was very tasty.

Poped in on the way home for a quick coffee.. And not only were the girls who were working efficient and friendly, the barista who did our coffees, seriously blended the milk SO well! Oat milk can be quite tricky and I was so impressed at how glossy and tasteful my caramel latte was.. And I drink alot of coffee!! Super impressed and will definitely return to when in Coventry next:) one of my best coffees thankyou :)

Lovely little coffee house we’ve just discovered! Friendly staff and a great selection of hot and cold drinks (including smoothies!) and snacks. Inside and outside seating is also lovely with the warm weather!

Vegan options / both food and drinks

This is based in my workplace and it is good to pop down for a coffee and maybe some cake. There is not enough choice of sandwiches and other food for lunch and it is expensive. The staff are good and helpful. The front door has been broken for weeks so the cold air is getting in and it is freezing - this needs fixing as it is too cold to sit in there!

Met a friend for lunch. Coffee delicious. Sandwiches expensive and very poor quality with hardly any filling. Asked for money back! Was told by staff that the sandwiches aren’t made there, but no apology given for poor quality. Will go again but stick to coffee and cakes.

Great coffee and very friendly Staff

I have visited Coffee No1 near the train station almost every week since it opened. The staff are always genuinely friendly, even when it’s manic, and the mochas are delicious. Great cakes too, and fast service.

Come here nearly every morning and always greeted with a smile. Coffee is also hot and fresh and the staff are all great!!!! A welcome difference from the coffee shops in London!

Coffee is fairly priced, and with a good selection of seasonal coffees. Menu has a good range, and staff are always friendly.

I go there in the morning occasionally and have had a few issues one being a still frozen bacon sandwich which was the was the worst and then burnt pastries which was again not what you expect

Served a stale almond croissant. Staff were too busy with other customers to give me a refund or offer me a replacement.

We were on are way to Birmingham on the train when we decided lets snatch a coffee well the place was really nice clean and quite trendy the guy that serves us was a nice young man very polite and nothing was too much trouble we also had a slice of victoria sponge beautiful then we went on our merry way i love good friendly customer service its nice to be nice and its free....

Visited this place on a Friday afternoon at a completely not busy period,but still had to wait 10 minutes for 2 drinks. One of them supposed to be a chocolate caramel crunch hot drink and all we got was a hot chocolate with cream on top...for a high price.

I came in to try the new coffee shop in town and was not disappointed. Very c lean with friendly staff. Varied coffees and eateries on display. Good atmosphere with out door seating for a warm dry day. I shall come back to eat sometime soon

I had spent a few hours in Coventry city centre and was heading back to the railway station when hunger struck!

Brief business trip to Coventry and an hour to spare...walked out of the station and found Coffee#1. Modern, relaxed atmosphere with very friendly staff. Cappuccino was so smooth - loved it; with Brie croissant with red onion marmalade .....tasty!
