The ham and cheese bagel that I had was soooo tasty!!!!!!!

The warm, friendly atmosphere perfectly complements the great food. Definitely somewhere to go if you’re shopping in Coventry.

We've been here a couple of times now. The food is good, the service is great, and it's good value for money.

I came in yesterday wanting a simple iced coffee, however the one I received was extraordinary! The girl who made the drink was very kind and let me mix vanilla and caramel so it was nicer. Top quality service would definitely recommend ☺️

During my travels through Coventry, I came across this quaint brunch establishment, the staff were welcoming and the customer service was on point, I customised an off-menu item for my order, I troubled the staff to make us a 'Lamb Shawarma Bagel with Spinach' and I tell you it was delicious and healthy, got filled up and ready for the day, paired that with a Chai Latte and felt energised for the day and ready for my second swim. Located opposite the Iceland pop in on your next visit.

Really good deal on the breakfast

So I felt the need to write this post because as a customer of Bagal for the last couple of years. I've only had 2 complaints about food! I have eaten many many times here and I've also eaten the salmon and avocado bagal many times with zero complaints. However, today I ordered the salmon and avo bagal with a cup of tea which cost me 11 odd quid! When I took my 1st bite of bagal the salmon was full of brown gristle and tasted funny. I pulled the salmon out and continued to the 2nd half of the bagal to which I then deemed it inedible! Leaving me with a tender tummy and a bad taste in my mouth! I spoke to the staff on this morning who basically told me no one has ever complained about the salmon before! I was complaining and I wished for a refund due to the cost of something that was potentially harmful and inedible. No refund offered only cake or muffin! Be careful when ordering raw salmon as I have been very poorly in the past (from somewhere else) I don't expect to be argued with when I'm a regular customer whose eaten regularly with no complaints

I recently visited Bagel Brunch and had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the owner was simply amazing. I enjoyed the Halal English breakfast, which came with a coffee included in the price. The portion size was epic and very satisfying. My only suggestion would be to use proper Halal sausages instead of frankfurters. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend! Be aware that not everything on the menu is Halal. Ask staff if in doubt.

Lovely little coffee shop ,with the usual variety of coffee/tea, full english breakfast, bagels good choice of cakes scones.order at the counter, then table service ,easily accessible for all users,outdoor seating, very close to west orchard shopping centre,,now the home base of the world renowned blah,blah,blah club,(coffee drinkers often gather and talk rubbish)

It was so lovely here, the food was great and the service was even better. 10/10 would come again.

We go past here occasionally and always say it looks nice, well today we decided to go in for breakfast, we had our 15 month old daughter with us and we had a great breakfast! Delicious food, great coffee and very friendly service, lovely decor inside or have seating outside also. We will definitely be visiting again.

Had worst experience here, visited this place with my girlfriend on a bright afternoon. We ordered a vegan breakfast and my girlfriend found a piece of chicken in her food.

I first visited this place a couple months back for the bagels however since my boyfriend tried the breakfast and raved about it, I decided to give it a try with him on a bright Sunday afternoon, the 18th August 2024 ( can’t ever forget the date) I got the vegan breakfast and my boyfriend got the vegetarian breakfast as he doesn’t consume pork due to religious issues. Halfway through my meal I found two chunks of something which neither looked like the bits of vegan sausage nor the sautéed mushroom. My boyfriend after being hesitant tried it only to find them to be chicken. Guess what happened after, the staff kept asking us for pictures and absolutely no sign of remorse whatsoever. Literally paid almost 20 quids only to leave the meal midway “THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER”

Honestly I waited 15 minutes for a batch and then the sausages were burnt and the egg was even worse it wasn't cheap either I do no reccomend going there for a takeaway maybe they show more respect if you sit inside 🤔

Great food and service only reason didn't get five stars was ,went on to Internet to check it out there menu pics are out of date so show wrong prices my breakfast was something like £7.50 but was £10.50

It's nice and quite around peak times when school js finished and most people are out of work and the staff are very nice. Plus the food comes very quick

The restaurant was very clean and comfortable with cute decor, the staff were lovely and the milkshake was soooo tasty for a hot day! The Lebanese breakfast was filling enough for two, so I’ll come back next time to try the pretty cakes!

Regular visitor here since it opened! Not just bagels, not just brunch - a varied menu. One of the most welcoming places in the city.

The staff is friendly, and the food and drinks are tasty. Their Turkish coffee is particularly 👍 . The owner of this branch deserves five stars for their excellent management.

I EXPERIENCED SHOCKING OUTBURST FROM A LARGE, MUSCLE BOUND YOB HERE TODAY! He was rather possessive over the condiments of which much was available as I helped myself to salt and pepper. Well, naturally I feared for my safety and left as quickly as possible leaving my meal at the table. I feel sorry for the staff being victim of such behaviour from unruly customers causing disruption and distress in the cafe but regrettably I’ll never return here again through fear of reprisals from that yob! Ironically, I’d only just begun spending some time again in the city centre this past month, after years of absence, but this incident has put me right off it. It’s yet another personal experience of anti social behaviour that appears very common in the city centre these days.

Ordered lamb burger at 12:00 and was still waiting at 13:00 they had forgot to put my order in. Sat there watching other people’s food arrive. Eventually food arrived and it was bland and looked like it had been thrown together.wont be coming back.

We booked a table for five people because I knew the place would be crowded. The food was excellent, hot and very delicious. We ordered our drinks. They were delicious and hot. We did not wait long until we got our drinks. Within two to three minutes they were on the table , the girl who was in charge of making the drinks she was just like a rocket around. The staff were very nice and welcomed us. The girl who took my order she was very fast and I didn't stand for long as it was very smooth, the manger checked on us after we had the food and the drinks he is a gentleman, and his staff are all excellent

The food was really good... the only issue is that was too crowded. But is understandable, if the food is good and the space is limited.

1st visit for us (3) and ordered 2x full english + 1 x vegetarian one. Lovely staff, service with a smile and pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely come again, possibly try something different. I did take-out cakes, haven't tried them yet but looks delicious.

my friend recommended the place so we went there it was so busy that we couldn't find a place to sit but the lady with glasses she so sweet and polite and didn't want us to leave so she found us a table as she had to move some people to a smaller table we had some breakfast which was nice and hot as the food took 5-7 minutes which how busy it was I expected it to take longer, the drinks were amazing we had some hot and cold drinks not gonna lie it was one of the best drinks we had for a long time i asked about who made the drinks and the girl with the glasses told me her name sabrina bless her shes 10/10 we enjoyed our drinks many thanks to her overall good and fast service from the team, definitely will be back again

A great place to gather with your partner on a cold morning. We had some hot chocolate with a slice of lemon cake each. Spongy and delicious cake. The staff was extremely friendly and a fun place to spent few hours in the morning while visiting the beautiful city of Coventry. I'm so impressed and joyful of how cozy the city is and full of students all over which brings a mixture of gothic buildings with youngsters alive.

Really nice place to have a coffee with your friends, the service was quick the two girls are so polite and nice love their energy it was enjoyable to watch them working with a smile and so much positivity 😊☕️

Very nice and clean cafe to have a breakfast in and meeting friends, we had the fuul it tasted absolutely delicious we also had the falafel it tasted okay but if it was fresh it would be way better, really wanted to try the sambosa but the lady who took the order she said that they not doing it anymore, she was really nice and patient as she didn’t want to upset us so she offered something else to have (she’s also funny nice to mention 🥰 ), the drinks tasted absolutely delicious I had the milkshake and it’s 10/10 really fresh and made nicely Very good service from their team as they kept checking on us offered good spot to sit and be comfortable, the two girls kept checking on everyone making sure everyone are happy with what they having , even though the place was so busy they didn’t kept anyone waiting for a long time . The only problem is on Saturday it’s very hard to find a place to sit in as the staff trying their best to make sure everyone are happy, hope the owner or the manager of the place sort this issue soon😇

Fab little coffee shop. So welcoming staff are really friendly. We were over visiting family and is the best coffee shop and cafe in Coventry city centre. Husband is a baker and the staff recommended the coffee and walnut cake and it didnt disappoint we will definitely be back. Atmosphere was cosy and friendly.

For our order we were waiting very long but apart from that they bring only half of it, cause they forget that we have anything else. The food was horrible, the bagel was old and the chicken shwrama was even worse, the chicken smelled and tested like a oily Fish..i don't recommend the place at all.

Has a warm and cosy vibe. After visiting here a few times over the years, food has been average, neither good nor bad. It's a good place if you're looking for something to eat generally but nothing outstanding. Noted the last time I visited the price of a standard milk/white chocolate is the same price as the hot chocolate from the chocolate store at the Christmas Market...

Staff are lovely, warm and friendly, they go the extra mile for you, especially Stefania, Sabina and Shahad, they have literally the best coffee I've ever tasted and I'm not just saying that. I've travelled and they do things differently here, warm, cosy atmosphere, you can get your work done but also socialise. Always service with a smile :)

Excellent place with a good menu. Not just bagels but classic cafe fayre like breakfast and baked potatoes, but also pasta and Lebanese mezza. Lovely coffee. Cosy atmosphere. Friendly and plentiful staff. Clearly popular with a diverse clientele, with the corner wall adorned with many photos of happy customers and staff. Highly recommend the shaksuka which is not swimming in tomato sauce like it is elsewhere, but really filling and heavily egg-focused.

Everything was great, the food was delicious, the hot drinks were great and actually hot, the staff were friendly and nice, I can see myself coming here often.

Favourite Breakfast spot in Town

we ordered lamb shawrma, burger, (both with chips) veg breakfast and it was very underwhelming, especially for the price- the veg breakfast especially had 0 flavour, stone cold toast with unmelted margarine, frozen sausages and hashbrowns, unseasonsed mushrooms and beans. the lamb burger too was bland, no salt or seasonings on lamb patty- not worth £7. waiters were also possibly arguing i think behind the counter, not too loud since we were right next to it, but we could tell from the facial expressions. just mid tbh but at least the decor was nice

Food: chicken bagel, big enough for a girl lol. I selected everything bagel(Sesame and chia seeds？), bagel is chewy and the sesame seeds have a toasted bitterness. Grilled chicken is a bit dry and lean. The overall taste is good(4.5/5). Service: Very friendly and nice staff.👍🏻 Atmosphere: It's warm and family friendly. But for me alone, I feel a little noisy😹. But I really enjoy this meal here🫶.

Wow haven’t had a English breakfast like this for a long time Me and my work colleague came here for a spot of breakfast. Parking was a bit tricky to find but it’s in the city centre so we knew this might be a issue. The place was easy to find and was busy. Always a good sign. Plenty of seating inside and found a table easy Ordered the veggie English breakfast. The service was fast and friendly. The food came out rapid with about a 5 mins wait. I thought I’d be waiting for ages as they were busy. The food was fresh, tasty and hot. The food was that hot that I had to wait for it to cool down. So tasty and great portion size too for the money. Self serve for sugar and condiments which I think is a great idea. Place was clean and funky decor. Saw the staff cleaning tables after customers left. Which is great as we all hate them sticky tables Really would highly recommend this place. If your in the area this is a must go to. I have been to a lot of places for food. This would be deffo top 5 for breakfast!! Great work guys

This place was so wholesome and warm immediately on arrival. Me and my friend both ans lunch, she had a gluten free bagel, I had a chicken wrap. Mine was so tasty and succulent, she expressed hers to be flavoursome and moreish. Food was delivered hot and promptly to our tables. Whilst overall the staff were all great, everyone made us feel welcome and pretty much everyone engaged in a conversation at some point. Haddy was particularly friendly and helpful, and nothing felt to much from him. All in all great service, great atmosphere and great food. Would definitely recommend for wholesome quick bite to eat ❤️.

I don't have many words but I have a picture of the "shakshuka" I ordered which I'll leave here for others to judge 😂...it was a disgrace and I find it very offensive that the food I was served was called shakshuka. It was scrambled eggs with meat in it 😂 please remove the dish from the menu or rename it as that's definitely not what shakshuka is. Google shakshuka and see for yourself. Also the staff were very rude and gave me a dirty look when I asked whether there was feta in the shakshuka (which is very normal!). Please educate your staff. The chicken shawarma was terrible too! I suggest you avoid trying to be cultural with the food as it's just offensive and embarrassing. The toilet also didn't have any soap or tissue so hygiene standards are definitely low. Avoid avoid avoid this restaurant! I have never left a Google review about food before as I've never been to a restaurant as bad.

On a busy day like Sunday it was the best service and food we have ever had. Where we called an hour before to book for more than 12 people and upon our arrival we were welcomed and taken to our table by the lady with the red hair she was really nice and polite lady. We ordered drinks and within 4-5 minutes the drinks were on the table, the place was very crowded and busy but the food was on the table in less than 10 minutes, I’ve also ordered the bagels and the labna as It was delicious and beautifully presented Will definitely be back again

Very nice food and good coffee and cake place to meet up

When English breakfast comes to mind, one can’t skip Bagel Brunch. A nice cosy restaurant in the heart of the city centre. I ordered Vegetarian English breakfast without eggs. As usual the breakfast was tasty. I was offered English tea as well with the breakfast. But I was not happy with the service. There was no sugar, butter, cutlery provided when they brought me the plate. I had to go inside and get it every time. I asked a question to an employee and she never came back to me.
