Buena Comida - Mexican Takeaway in Dudley

Ordered a burrito and it was literally the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth. the tortilla was soggy yet the inside was dry and cold, the rice wasn't cooked, the beans were gritty and there was hardly any sour cream in it making it dryer than the Sahara desert and it was overall tasteless. I was so excited since id never ate a burrito before but this was very disappointing and I felt like crying when I received this dry favourless piece of crap, chucked it straight in the bin. I ordered this nearly a year ago now, yet this 'burrito' still haunts my dreams and I felt inclined to write this review many months later. Run far way from this restaurant and don't turn back.

The food from here is absolutely fantastic! Had a delivery and it came piping hot and food was so fresh and tasty. Can't wait to order again .

Don't bother!!! Dry and tasteless. Ordered with guacamole, never came. I would have accepted this, but the owner said it did come with it but 'cooks out'. What a load of sh+t! I've eaten Mexican enough to know! To the owner...don't bother replying with a defensive comment unless you are offering a refund! I tried to sort this out but you may as well told me to 'Eff off'. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Happy to see you in person to explain

Ordered pulled pork enchilada, nachos and fries. The portion sizes are large, the food tasted lovely (you can tell it is freshly made) and it arrived on time. I really appreciate their fast customer service and I can tell they care about the service they provide. Overall a good quality meal and despite having a mishap with the initial pickup, it was more than compensated for. I will definitely recommend Buena Comida to friends!

I don't understand why people order a takeaway, get it delivered, when there may be more than one customer on the delivery run, and then complain that the food isn't hot. Surely the purpose of the review is to review the quality and skill in preparing the food not the temperature of it. We've just driven 25 minutes from Alveley, Bridgnorth, picked up our takeaway, got it home and put the oven on. While everything was getting back to temperature, we opened our bottle of wine and then dived in. This is 'home cooking' at its best and it's absolutely delicious. If you can't be bothered to do what we did and complain instead, then you're not the right customer. The right customer always appreciates good food when they eat it! Not only was my food an hour and a half late, the onion rings came raw and inedible. The enchilada tasted like a cheap margarita pizza from Asda. If you’re gonna charge over £9 for it atleast get it right. Not impressed, terrible take on Mexican food

Shocking service! Ordered via the Deliveroo app and called the store after OVER an hour later to check what was happening. We ordered two items, not a buffet and only live 8 minutes from the store so can’t see why there was such a delay. We were told at 9.50pm that the order was “already on its way” not great but we waited… It showed up half an hour later! So that’s 90 mins in total for one burrito and some corn. No explanation, no apology - shocking service! Maybe they forgot our order then our phonecall prompted them to make it last min?? But if so offfer a refund or an apology at least!! And then on top of all that ALL dips (3) missing?! Dreadful. Deliveroo can’t help of course and couldn’t ring the store because it closed at 10. Just terrible all round

Ordered for New Year's Eve via the website and everything was delivered on time and as ordered. Food is of great quality. Salad was fresh and the mushroom starter was delicious. Very happy to have a takeaway in the area that is this good and different to the usual suspects.

Shame about the wait time, a 1+1/2 hours. The food was beautiful hot and really good portions. when I called about the order the lad one the phone was very helpful. Thank you for a lovely meal.

I have wanted to try this place for a while as heard good things about it, we were not disappointed. I phoned to ask about delivery ( free within a certain distance ) and to ask about the menu as I was unsure of what to order. I found the young man on the end of the phone to be very helpful and friendly. The food was delivered within about half an hour of our order being taken, the delivery driver was again very friendly. The food itself was hot and freshly cooked and was nicely presented, the portions are massive. I thought that the price we paid for our food represented very good value. We would use this place again for sure.

Funcy something different? This is the place. Basic menu. Chicken, pulled pork and "minced beef". Choose the wrap combo (baked with cheese, or fajita or other options) and choice of sauces. Very tasty. We had 3 different dishes and all tastes good. Only food downsides, FOR US) portions are far too big. Not managed to finish our portions. But for some it could be a bonus. We collected our food as we were passing by. The place doesn't look very welcoming (old dated with sticky floor). The place could benefit by having a revamp.

We ordered Nachos and 2 burritos 🌯 all the food was great and delivered 20 minutes earlier than advised would order again.

This place is a gem of a find! We had 2 x chicken and chorizo to go… absolutely beautiful. Bostin portion and great value. Will def be reordering again… so different! Super friendly staff too! Very chatty whilst my food was made fresh to go!

As with many of the reviews, we were looking for something different rather than the usual Indian, Pizza, etc takeaway.
