On my holiday to the UK I have spent many relaxing hours in this coffee shop. The staff are excellent, and so is the coffee. The wifi is speedy and easy to connect to. I wish the store were a bit bigger; it can get jam-packed, so there is no seating on weekends. As it's an open space in a mall, it's not so quiet, but bring your headphones to block out foot traffic and other people making calls, kids playing, babies crying, etc. This is the only downside, but not enough to mark the shop down from 5 stars.
If you want a welcome, a hello, or just a friendly hi…..please don’t bother!
I have given this place so many chances but sadly each time, save for an occasional staff member who smiles and welcomes you, you get greeted with a scowl, distain or a sneer and ZERO customer focused service.
The ‘chap’ who seems to be the owner and runs the kitchen, is not beyond barking at you that an item is not available, or, on one occasion when my partner had asked for no butter in his takeaway sandwich, yet it was applied anyway, when this was pointed out to the staff, the ‘chap’ came out of the kitchen and informed my partner that ‘as this sandwich had already been paid for, you best purchase another!!’ Manners? Customer focused? Customer considerate? Maybe there is a need to understand that it is the ‘customers’ that keep the establishment going, NOT the other way around.
Blue Bean Cafe, you are a customer facing service that needs ‘said’ customers.. a little investment in a customer service course may serve you well? Or perhaps just good old manners rather a serving of annoyance to your customers? 🤔

I spoke to someone on the phone at this venue who had absolutely no command of the English language. I would not trust any food source from this venue.
Pub is nicely presented, tidy exterior and spotless indoors, feeling like it’s fresh from refurbishment, but sadly it seems more due to low patronage than upkeep. Very boring colour scheme and no personality/atmosphere, not helped by the out of date and overly loud juke box (no-one wanted to hear Katie Price and Peter Andre sing when they were somewhat relevant - walking in to be greeted by their caterwauling in 2024 should be considered assault!) means that there’s no such thing as a warm welcome, just a bit of a beige space to eat your boring dinner.
Will never understand why, in a village with two excellent Indian restaurants within a couple of minutes walk, this place decided to serve Indian food as well, especially as they’re not really very good at it. Have had food from here a couple of times since living in the village, and it’s always been bland and pricey for the low quality. Recently went with friends who chose it against my advice and paid £19 for half a dozen prawns in some tomato soup (not a curry sauce in the slightest, and I say that as someone who adds extra cream to most kormas) with soggy chips and flat Pepsi. We were a party of eight, and on an evening with only two other tables eating that we could see, our food was delivered over 25 minutes, meaning that some of our party were almost finished before others had even been served.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful when serving us, but they seemed to be in a state of oversupply, servers looking quite bored and hovering aimlessly around. There was also red headed lady who I would guess is a manager - again, very pleasant on interaction but has a very odd and overdone pub landlady persona, coupled with some awful shrilling that I think was meant to be singing and was quite irritating.
A real shame that this place isn’t offering a nice country pub menu, or at least something different to the far superior and better established other local venues. For a bland and boring experience, go here, for great Indian food try Voujon or the Massala Club, for great atmosphere…don’t bother with Stonnall.
A very convenient stop off on our journey. However we had 2 cheese and chutney rolls and 2 drinks. The bill came to over £17. We thought a mistake had been made, especially as we were taking to food back to the car. The lady behind the counter double checked the bill but said it was correct. One of the drinks was a niche market type but the other was black coffee. We thought it expensive, especially as the rolls were dry and dense and the grated cheese spilled everywhere. I think we'd be hard pressed to stop there again.
Great spot across from the english fort car park south end of malvern hills. Ideal for hot and cold snacks at reasonable prices after coming down from the fort.
This place never dips, always top quality food and also top quality service!!! It’s very relaxed and chilled so if you want everything in two minutes then it won’t be for you
Lovely atmosphere. Food was excellent. Finished off with fantastic home made dessert. Not rushed at all. The two ladies who served us were so so lovely. Parked easily. Really recommend would absolutely return. Thank you.

Great variety pf Thai food- would recommend to all . We had crispy duck to start, duck sweet & sour , chicken (pad Pniew Wan), noodles, beef (Pad Khopod ) prawn crackers. All great & good service.
I knew this place was cheap and cheerful and it was - food was good and as expected - loads of space for family and chatting
BUT the play area is totally awful- there can be no explanation for the volumes and volumes of dog poo. Literally in the play area itself and just everywhere you look in the grass. I was shocked and just not acceptable - I am dog owner but clearly one of the responsible ones: shut the play area off if you cannot keep it clean. I really cannot emphasise enough how much it should be shut.
I ordered a Gingerbread Latte, a bacon bap and an Oat and Raisin biscuit for delivery. The delivery was on time and delivered with care. No complaints there. When I opened up my order the Oat and Raisin Biscuit wasn't there. Three items in the order and they couldn't get that right. Wow.
When I went online to report this, they refunded my money and said it would take 3-10 business days. Are you taking the P.
I used to work at Friargate so used to go to Coffee #1 regularly. It's always been a really slow service, and it's over priced. I wont be using them again - ever. They've had so many chances with me and failed miserably on many occasions.
Ordered a burrito and it was literally the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth. the tortilla was soggy yet the inside was dry and cold, the rice wasn't cooked, the beans were gritty and there was hardly any sour cream in it making it dryer than the Sahara desert and it was overall tasteless. I was so excited since id never ate a burrito before but this was very disappointing and I felt like crying when I received this dry favourless piece of crap, chucked it straight in the bin. I ordered this nearly a year ago now, yet this 'burrito' still haunts my dreams and I felt inclined to write this review many months later. Run far way from this restaurant and don't turn back.
On a two day visit to the Malvern Hills we dropped by this place on a Tuesday evening. We were met by Dan, whose knowledge of the menu was excellent. We went with his recommendations and they did not disappoint. The food was excellent value and tasted fantastic. The service was very friendly and we would highly recommend this place to any weary walkers to refuel after a stretch of the legs in this beautiful part of the world.
