Probably the best £10 I've spent in a long time. Really friendly service and great food.

Best thing about this place is the lovely family who make you feel so welcome. The next best thing is definitely the battered chips 🍟 100% recommend. See you soon!!

All i can say is thr greatest fish and chips ive had after 30 years. No one does it like these lot and huuuuge portions for great prices.small is like a regular. Regular like a large and large is xl. Hidden gem...lovely people and a must..make it like they used to in the 90s.. Every where else is so average. Please start just eat

Proper Black Country battered chips, which is rare for Birmingham. Uncle made a fresh batch and they're bang on!

I decided to give this chippy a try in May when we were hosting my partner's grandmother. Staff are very nice, the prices reasonable and the portion sizes are good and tasty. But the battered sausage gave my partner food poisoning so I can only give them 4 stars this time.

Have used this wonderful place for over 20years, Mick and Chuckie and there staff are Quality people, selling Quality food.

I came here after enquiring about a product I had wanted was available and was relieved to know that it was. The member of staff was quite helpful and friendly to everyone that came into the shop, and I'll definitely be returning

Lots of food ready when I got there. Have stopped here before when working in the area and the staff are very friendly. Small cod and chips £6 which is very cheap these days.

You know how some chippies have really grumpy staff? This wasn't one of those 😁 Lovely friendly staff serving great food. Try the Masala Cod, it was delicious!

Had kebab meat and chips Not much salad chips were old probably dinner time chips the only good thing was the meat. i will try them again hopefully they were just having a bad day

Friendly local chippy! Great cheery owners who work there themselves, gives a nice community spirit. Food is typical of a local chippy so get your traditional grub up here. They even put fresh fish on for me when requested - being a regular does have perks so make sure you keep going! You can pre order on their mobile number so you don’t have to wait. Parking is a bit difficult as only few spaces directly outside or around the corner on Plough and Harrow Rd there’s a lot more bay parking. Rush hour makes it hard to access if driving as on a one way but so worth it if you do - owner sometimes sells home made samosas (yum) & freshly battered cod in fish n chips from there is 10/10. You can even get battered bits on your chips here. There’s couple of grocery stores/offy’s directly on each side, so you can pick up your necessities while there, too. Been coming here a couple years now and only ever had to queue two or three times during peak hours. Always service with a smile, staff are extremely friendly and hygiene practices seem to be adhered to. Great chippy I would’ve been given five stars, but the parking mars the experience.

Just bought fish and chips from here. Tasted nice until I found a long blonde ish/silver hair in the food. Definitely not mine as my hair is black. Very distasteful, should cover long hair when serving food, last time I will be buying from here. Disgusting. EDIT: I did not return to the store as I opened the food once I was back at work on my lunch break, had no time to go back. Complete waste of money.

For the price you pay you get a good portion of chips and what ever else your having they also do battered chips and no extras for the sauces great value for your money

Absolutely minging. The fish was chewy and had been sitting there for hours. The battered chips weren’t great either, I’ve never returned food to a chip shop before, but I had to on this occasion. I would advise you to avoid this place, there are much better chip shops around. This was on June 11th at 13:50pm. I returned the fish, I was offered a fresh mini fish, so I asked for the £4.70 back

Good fish & chips for reasonable price. You can get battered chips here, which rare to find in this area. Fish taste is good and did not find any issue with their oil.

After being dismissive, I tried here again and I'm glad I did. The food has been lovely on both occasions.

They do orange (battered) chips which is a rarity in Birmingham. And they are so tasty. Reasonable prices too.
