Papa Johns Pizza in Birmingham

We have received an order we ordered premium cheese blend that had hardly any cheese on it. Not really happy with service. Pizza was cold.

Customer service is beautiful Pizza (better than dominos) is beautiful, prices for students are very fair and negotiable

Came here on a busy Friday night, I could tell pressures were high. However the one who truly stood out and kept cool, calm and collective was a young boy , I’d say age ranged 19 +. I was stunned at how polite this young superstar was. Having worked in retail on and off for the best part of 30 year I know first hand how stressful things may get. He really came through. Just like to come here and say my piece as I’m so proud to see today’s youth is not failing us. I think his name is anmol . Much love

Sent mouldy ice cream. Then laughed and questioned why I'm calling 15 minutes after it was delivered! Because we ate the pizza first obviously! Disgraceful service, and how the hell do you have such mouldy ice cream!!

This store is always understaffed, spent loads of time just waiting to order on many different visits. Pizza is nice, but the service/mood in the store isn't great at all.

Terrible.. I selected a buy one get one free and paid for it to only be delivered 1 pizza !!

The customer service was extremely rude and the place was not clean. The worst part was that they charged us £19.99 for a small pizza, which is much more expensive than what you would pay at an Italian restaurant. It was a horrible experience and I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for pizza.

We dealt with Sumit who was so friendly and kind. The pizzas arrived on time and were delicious. Great service, will definitely order from here again. Thanks Sumit.

Absolutely disgraceful service. Ordered food for delivery. Pizza arrived an hour and 15 mins later, cold as ice. I phoned up to complain, and the manager told me it was "impossible that the pizza was cold.." I was literally taken back by that response. I was then told the best I could get is a discount on my next order. Ghastly customer service. Avoid this franchise at all costs!! Zero star rating.

Came here yesterday while trying to get some food as I used the automated chat thing to see if cash was accepted which the automated chat said it was allowed, only to find out when I went to double if they accepted cash to be told oh sorry its card only. I am not from the area so how was i ment to know this sort your automated chat out to correct it otherwise it misleading

Pizza is really good but the staff is rude, they just blindly add quality seal on the box for name sake. I had ordered pizza online and they forgot to the dip. This had happened earlier as well that time I didn't raise a complain thinking mistakes do happen once in a while but this has happened for the second time and I cannot let it go.

Food never came still waiting for a refund

I ordered pizzas for my son and me last night at 10pm. It wasn't delivered till after 11 and I even had an email saying I could have a free medium pizza next time i ordered as it was taking that long. The man who answered the phone and handled my query was so rude and if it wasn't for my son being hungry I would of cancelled there and then!!! I then had another phone call off the rudest man I've ever spoken to being moody with me because the delivery driver had the wrong number but how could he have the wrong number when he was speaking to me????? Anyway the delivery driver was parked opposite the hotel we were staying at and I didn't know it was him until the so called worker who was on the phone to me saying he was outside. The delivery driver just got the pizzas out his boot handed them to us and didn't speak at all or apologise. The pizzas were obviously freezing cold when he handed them over to us. I gave one star because your not allowed to give zero! Pathetic service and employees who blatantly don't want to work there! And the where your pizza is app doesn't work!!!!!!

If you like no sauce and no cheese pizza and to be told by jazz he isn't going to do anything about it then by all means eat here. Avoid pizza and go for sides only. I wrote an email and still not heard back

Rude and arrogant staff refused to honor the offer on the door, stating it was only during certain times (it wasn't), so ended up ordering it online for collection

STOLE AN 80 QUID ORDER!!! didn't even arrive, wouldn't answer the phone to check in, waited over an hour past time and when requested refund they cancelled the request as saying they were sending some free stuff even though they sent nothing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The service is great, I love the pizzas and how they are made ,the staff are kind.

Very dirty they don’t wash their hands before making the pizza. They switch from the fridge, cleaning and the cash machine and they straight away touch the food. I been sick for a week because of that intolerance.

First order with Papa Johns. Chewy dough that didn’t seem fresh and both pizzas tasteless and luke warm. Delivery driver was polite though. Won’t be ordering again. 🤮

In town , the pizza is so good I give it a really high score , the place is the best if you don’t have a car , parking is an issue .

Visited the outlet with a voucher which said " claim free small pizza" on one side & other side "any large pizza for 7.99£". When I approached the store, the sales person (the rudest person I have ever met after I came down to Birmingham!), saw me holding the voucher & he instead of greeting me with a smile, directly said "NO! Come tomorrow". Hearing this rude response I was surprised & asked him "why?". He responded with a very weird question which I am unable to understand even now "What do you mean why?" I mean how do I respond to such a question? I asked again why do u ask me to come tmrw because I'm not there in the area. I wish to have the pizza today. But then he kept saying no rudely (without stating any reason) and walked away. My friend also told sir your very rude. I further asked can you please tell me a reason to why your objecting our request when we hold a valid voucher which we got the previous day! The voucher doesnt have any expiry date/conditions apply written. He kept grinding his teeth and he just moved to the next customer ignoring me. I again reminded him he is rude to which he responded "I've told you for five times, your not understanding" to which I asked the customers who were standing there showing them the voucher and asked what they understood after reading it. They all said its clear! Its written free/reduced price pizza. The sales person further asked "what do you want me to do? What do you want? Give you free pizza?" This was with a sick & rude sarcastic tone. I would've understood if he said "sorry, there is some mistake on the voucher. Let me get you a drink/pizza/snack for the inconvenience". He ddnt say "So sorry, how can I make it up to you" nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing! He kept insulting me in front of others by ignoring me & giving rude replies. When I said I want to meet the manager, he told with a prideful tone "I AM the manager!" I felt I ddnt get any justice! It was such an embarrassment! His colleague also rejected my request & asked to come tomorrow. Papa Johns was my favorite spot for quality pizza. I had gone there for the large pizza & not the free pizza! I was ready to pay.. I dnt know what should be done regarding this. I won't be surprised if there are countless others who has had this experience from this sales person! Edit 12/10/2023 - the store reached out to me and made it right. It was an honest mistake which is predictable on any busy day. I am very glad that they have done the necessary! Thank you for making sure customer satisfaction is your priority!

Pizza was cold and tasteless very disappointed

Ordered a few pizzas and some sides to be delivered to my hotel, and was keeping track of the delivery via papa john's website. I was at the reception desk when tracking said it was delivered. It's been over an hour and I haven't seen hide nor hair of my order. Tried calling a few times and no one picked up the phone. Now I'm out £30 and still hungry.

Staff very rude always angry will not be visiting again. Customer service is absolutely disgusting

The staff was really very rude and they were behaving like illiterates. Seriously they have lowered the standards than last year. I was here in this branch last year and they all were professionals behaving good and give details of deals and this staff was getting angry even for asking about the deal. Basically the food was food and staff was really rude and non professionals

After ordering a pizza delivery and ringing to find out where the driver was told he was just around the corner. After waiting a further 30 mins no sign of driver when I rang the branch was told to stay on the phone whilst they contacted driver to find out where he was after waiting on the phone for 15 mins I gave up.when I called back they never answered my call. Very unprofessional. Finally driver arrived 1 hour 20mins later. The pizza was cold by then. we didn't even eat it. Diffinately won't be ever coming back. Not even an apology. From papa John's.
