I wish i could put 6 stars Amazing food and polite staff Very cheap prices

Food is overall good , though I’d rate indoor sitting 6/10 . There are parking issues as well. It’s a must try menu though 😋😋

Atmosphere is good, food has always been 9/10, Just some staff members over the counter have been rude/ Streetwise (but then again they are teens/ Hitting 18/19) so I'll give them the benefit of doubt.

Nice place but a bit expensive for a regular takeaway food in Birmingham.

The chicken seems not cooked well, I found blood vessels with small bloods came out in my mix chicken burger. You tell the guy on the desk, he said they are nerves without even looking at the meal. We can't do anything about it and we have it all the time. No even sorry. Took the tray and put it away, good buy.

Food is 10/10 staff are friendly and clean and environment

Food made me vomit was sick all night still have not recovered and its been nearly 2 days! Absolutely disappointed with the food the chicken smelt funny and tasted off.

If you like grilled beef and chicken in a huge range then this is the place! They do amazing food and I'd say there's plenty on the menu for all. Just make sure you avoid peak times as it can get busy so phone order may be useful!

Ordered in from here while at my sisters last night. Food from Mak Halal is always on point even though it is a tad more expensive than other burger places. I ordered the Mega mix burger and the classic loaded fries. The food tasted very nice and it was very filling. They did miss out 2 drinks, though, which was a bit annoying. But would order from them again.

Great choice of burgers. Halal version of McDonald's big Mac, Burger King burgers and their own great pizza . There is so much choice, you can try different burgers to fimd your favourite. Their pepperoni pizza an Big Mak are my favourites

The place has good seating for a fast food diner. The food is nice but definitely not worth the prices, a smash burger and loaded fries coming in at almost 15 pound is ridiculous. It's tiny as well. Service is ok, nothing special. In summary good food, to be tried once if you are feeling rich and want to spoil yourself with a snack.

Lovely customer service food on point 10/10

Highly disappointing. We ordered 2 Pizzas both cost £8.99 and were large but looked medium size. Once I placed the ordered the guy at the till gave me to vibrator alarms saying sit in the car and we will ring the "Buzzer". After waiting over 25 minutes in the car I decided to pop in to see where on earth the Pizza had gone. As soon as I asked the cashier he told me another 5 minutes which I found to be very cheeky considering the long wait I had already endured. He was like come back again but this time I told him I will wait inside for it to be made. When it arrived the first pizza looked undercooked and I could literally see it undercooked. I pointed it out to the guy and he was like that's how the Pizza is. So I waited another 10 minutes for the other pizza to arrive. Must be one of the slowest pizza makers in Birmingham. When I asked for dips considering my large order you would think he would put a few extra dips but he rashioned them out as though he was handing out gold. The 2 Pizzas were undercooked, straight after eating I felt unwell. Overpriced large pizza ( do make sure you ask them to show you the box before you order as I didn't and it the pizza looked more like a medium which is usually a 12inch and they are advertising as "Large") Sadly had high expectations of this place especially with the brand I heard was suppose to be good but really not good at all. Poor Food especially Pizza that's Also very slim base it seems they are saving on dough. Poor service with no clear timeframe Given regarding how long order would take. In terms of price and size it wasn't value for money as a large which is 12 inch pizza is sold at £8.99. If you go around Birmingham there's many that do a large which is bigger in size for lesser than the price and more filling. My experience was not good at all. No apology for the long wait and the cashier seemed to be rude.

Visited - 03/12/2024. Great food at decent price. What more could you ask for from a takeaway! Parking - further down, 2-3 min walk. Atmosphere - Strange smell, could have been the bin. They had the heater on so it was warm. Service - Man was very polite and helpful. Food - Chicken Sizzler was nice. Was a little cheesier that it should have been but no issues and would get it again. Drinks - Sell their own version of soft drinks. I always go for the 7up/Sprite and this was decent to me. Deco - standard takeaway so nothing to point out. Cleanliness - some tables were a bit messy but not overly. Definitely recommend. At the time of writing on the 06/12/24 - I got a takeout from them too and it was spot on. Asked them to make it extra spicy and it was defo more spicier than I could handle. Tried their milk cake dessert. Needed more milk in it but it was nice.

Excellent seating, especially for families, you can also put a partition across the booth for extra privacy, which I liked. Food, as usual, is tasty and consistent. And fast service. Definitely recommend it to all.

Food was a disappointment and not worth the money. Got three different burgers and a panini from here. It all tasted bland, just the usual ingredients cooked from frozen, but at an exorbitant price. The server was nice but forgetful. He missed part of my order and then made it to eat in, when I’d told him twice upon ordering that it was to take away.

Me and my friend went just not long ago, and the service was amazing i heard lots of good things about this place and it did not disappoint, i got the flamak panini meal which was quite good and my friend got a large meat feast pizza which was bussin. The carribean pizza is what i very much recommend u get a deal where its one regular pizza a cheeseburger, fries and a drink all for £10 would recommend and would definitely go again.

Went in late on a Saturday night great food and good service

we ordered 2 chicken burgers and couldn't even bite through because the chicken didn't cut. It tasted chewy and weird. Toilets literally smelled bad and dirty. Tables were dirty as well I cleaned myself. We had little bit of the fries and left the rest there. Wont be going back.

Like everywhere else product hasn't changed same good quality but prices have shot up. There are other places like this which have similar burgers but prices are much better. Sadly will be taking my business there until they hike up the prices then I'll be looking for a new location sign of the times.....

Wasn't sure what to order so I just went for a burger meal and nuggets, burger was decent but they do fries, not chips and the fries had no salt or flavour. They should have staff to bring food to the table as the seating is very tight and small so getting in and out was annoying

I asked for a order cashier gave me the wrong order after i double checked with him and waited for a refund wasting my time with no compensation i was refunded my money after a day do better

The food was good ,we were there with kids so we need tissues and extra spoons so the guy at the counter he’s looking at us like we have asked for his kidney or something

Ate here last night and was my only meal in the whole day, now i'm writing this review from the toilet, yes i have been food poisoned trough a chicken pizza, i don't know if it was the bread the chicken or the cheese but something was off, Makhalal use to be full packed inside and the staff use to be nicer, now they have young boys who are rude and shouting in the kitchen all day, definitely not coming back this has cost me too much of a price.

Needed something nice quick n tasty as we needed to hit the road. This hit the spot! Great food!!! Good quality, filling full of flavour and very clean joint. And it's HMC so added bonus. Shout out to the three lil Brum brothers who recommended this place!

Staff are friendly, food is halal and delicious. There is a lot of seating and some booths as well in case you need a bit more private seating.

Gone downhill very rapidly, no wonder there always empty now. Brought couple burgers, tasted bland and tasteless. Found a staple in the burger (yes the ones they use to staple there paper bags and receipt on too). Called to let them know to be extra vigilant (stated didn't want anything, just letting you know). Had an extremely rude staff (guessing one of those cleaners) tell me its not possible and then cut the line. How can it not be possible when you clearly staple the bags in the same area you're cooking the food. Can't see the business last long, better quality of food around the area

Like many other reviews, I also initially felt that this restaurant was a bit overrated. Because, during my first visit, I tried classic chicken sandwich, which at that time felt very tasty with some unique sauce. But when I tried it the second time along with meat feast pizza, I was disappointed with the taste and only felt the sauce at the very bottom of the sandwich. However, after reading the reviews for burgers, I wanted to try them. The flaming chicken fillet (burger) is an absolute blast 🔥🔥🔥. It was extremely delicious and could feel the different blend of spices in the fillet. A must try 👌. It's probably the best I've ever had in the whole of the UK. A suggestion: Since you're doing sandwiches and paninis, If possible, please try to add "Tacos" to your menus. People would definitely love it.

I had a desire to try it, but it was an unfortunate thing. I asked to buy a large burger and I paid £7.79, but the burger was very small and would not satisfy a child. I asked him to fill me with water to drink, but he gave me hot water. I am very surprised by what happened.

Just wow. Their burgers and doner meat was delicious. I love the fact that they provided Kinza cola instead of coke or pepsi. strongly recommend this place. Just a shame they don't have a branch in London.

Visited here when they first opened and every now and then ever since then I have revisited. Each return has left me somewhat disappointed. The service is still good and their buzzer collection system is brilliant. However the price of the food doesn't really reflect the quantity of the portion sizes. It's a tad overpriced for what you pay for. Not very filling at all.

Love the Hot & fiery burger from here! The brothers are not like your weird local chippy guys who stare at you, they call you sister and get the food made to perfection every time. Also, dont forget to try their Algerian sauce! Yum

Food is banging, pizzas suprisingly good

Service was slow and the food was not worth price at all, fries were soggy

Ordered 3 burgers with £2.60 extra to make into meals, so we payed around £10+ per person. We got our take away bag and got home, to find out they left all the fries out. We phoned up and the first lady denied that we ordered a fries meal deal. We said we have the receipt which does show we did and that it'd be nice if they delivered our fries. The lady said they don't do deliveries and that next time we come in to the store they will give us a free plain cheeseburger meal. That's not what we ordered or asked for, we wanted our fries with the meals we got and payed for. They took ages and tried many other options to try and not give us a refund. When they finally said they'd give us a refund they only refunded us £3 instead of the £7.80 that the added meal deals were. Extremely disappointed and upset with the service and attitude we recieved, when all we wanted was a simple fix of either having fries delivered or a proper refund on the extra added meal options.

Why are your double cheese burgers the same size as the kiddies burger??? Definitely not value for money. I feel quite cheated and ripped off !

I don’t leave many reviews but here is one I need to share! Possible the best burger I have ever had! Chips were amazing fresh soft and crispy! Quick food, reasonably priced, and fantastic service. The star of it all is the burger! I live an hour away and will travel to have this burger again!

I have to say Mac halal is one of the best places in Alum Rock to dine in my kids and I loved it the burgers are on another levels absolutely delicious when I'm next down will hope to visit again the day I came it was almost closing time but we managed to get our meal thank you for your service.

Overall a good experience and enjoyable food. The restaurant was clean and quiet and the staff were helpful. Parking is a huge issue here so best to park further and walk up.

Customer service is not great boy on till need to give more attention when he taking order,he left just my order on desk and I packed myself which I don’t mind but he throw my food like he doing favour for me, if I talk about food ,food is good and freshly cooked.

I've eaten here more than once, food is very tasty, that's why I go back. Unfortunately, it's not first time that the food arrives (made to order) and the burger is tipid warm. Surly if its made to order, and given to the Coustmer in store, how is it that it's not hot? I thought it may have been a one off, unfortunately it's every time. Once this is fixed, it will be a fantastic experience.
