God willing, a classy restaurant with very, very nice food

Chanced upon this little gem purely by accident and I’m so glad I did. The food is phenomenal! I’ve visited a few times since and every visit it’s been highly consistent. Fresh delicious very well balanced flavours and excellent value for money. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. My new go to place, highly recommend trying it out. It is always rammed which speaks volumes however even then the service is very quick so your not sat staring at other people’s plates :p also the complimentary lamb soup is a lovely touch 👌

Food is okey but the customer service is very poor.Staffs are very rude and not helpful.I won't recommend this restaurant to any one .11/11/2024 ,21.30.

Had a lovely meal with my family. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were offered complimentary soup that was very good. First time trying Mulawah Yemeni Bread and definitely not my last👌.

Wow just wow. One of the best Yemeni I have been too. I wish they opened one in London. The fahsa was amazing and the Yemeni bread just wow. I will one hundred percent be returning, tye workers are so nice and polite.

Best Yemeni dishes I’ve had in Brum so far. I usually order Lahsa Eggs, Kabdah with the bread that’s been my favourite so far. For dessert I always go with Maasoub geshta as they make it warm and rich with cream cheese similar taste sauce. If you haven’t visited yet you missed out!

An amazing restaurant with impeccable service! We sat in one of the family booths which gave a lovely sense of privacy. The food came out quickly and tasted really authentic. The waiters were so respectful! The food was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers because it was so filling. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for good, authentic, Yemeni food!

One of the poorest service in Birmingham, waited nearly 1 hour for a naan and fahsa and it’s not even busy. Fix up.

This is by far the best Yemeni food I’ve had outside of Yemen. The Lamb Haneeth was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with just the right blend of spices. I also loved the Salta – the flavors were bold and unique, served bubbling in a clay pot. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt like a true slice of Yemeni culture. I had the pleasure of dining at Alyemen Alsaeed in Birmingham yesterday, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was outstanding delicious, authentic, and rich in flavor. The portion sizes were generous, and the pricing was very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable customer service. The staff were courteous, attentive, and ensured all our needs were met . Had the grilled chicken without rice and bread, they were nice and put salad and hummus instead. They also gave a complementary lamb soup, delicious.

Asked for a sheesh tauoq ended up with a half chicken which was stale. Ended up giving it to cat. Next time you order takeaway out check your order properly cause it's not the first time this has occurred.

Regularly order take-away whenever I am in mood for Arabic food. Never been disappointed. Today on 26 Aug visited the place for dine-in, ordered Lamb Fahsa and Malawah (Yemini bread). Got served a complimentary small bowl of lamb soup. Lamb soup was flavourful. Lamb Fahsa was rich and flavourful. The lamb pieces were tender and shredded. The star of the day was the bread. Huge, flaky and flavourful. Enough for two ppl. All in all a great place with good service and amazing value for money, will keep coming.

Yeah the food was good and all and the bread was exquisite but I felt that the fasooliah was a bit too dry for my liking. But since it was called fasooliah nashifah I can’t really complain. The kabdah was nice and the spice to it made it better. The tea had a peculiar bitter taste to it but I liked the fact that you can manage the amount of sugar that was in your tea. The food service was pretty fast for a big order; it came within 10-15 minutes. The interior was very well presented and the Yemeni style furniture was the finishing touch. Overall this was an amazing experience and it gives you the Yemeni feel. Yeah totally recommend. 🇾🇪👍

Food was ok as lamb in mandi was very dry and same was the case with grilled chicken in platter but on top of this service was really bad and slow. We never had the sauce, soup or plates. I get that it was during a busy period but still the overall experience was quite bad and because of that won’t be visiting again and not recommended.

Such a clean restaurant. Sat in the family booth and it was quite roomy and private. The service was excellent. The food was DELICIOUS. We had the lahsa and the mulawah bread. It was so wholesome and filling. The bread size portion is huge; for 2-3 people. Excellent for sharing. InshAllah we will be back. The adani tea could be sweeter and thicker. I wish the owners all the best with the business.

We had the meze, lamb mandi and kabda (liver) which came with a flaky flat bread similar to paratha. It came to a total of £26 with two canned drinks. Exquisite would be the word described thus meal.

The meat wasn't fresh at all however, the Maasoub is great.

Honestly, it was creative, and the food was amazing, God willing. We ate breakfast and also took lunch to cook for home. No one gets bored of Yemeni food 🥰

The real taste of yemani mandi. Before I had from Qatar and the same taste I have got it from here. Definitely worth it. And it’s a busy restaurant we should confirm the order before we leave from home. Friendly staff. If the food was balance we can take away to home they provide good container box. Really loved the food.

Mutton Haneeth is so delicious, I prefer one of the best Mandi in Birmingham. So authentic foods.

It's a nice simple place however the food is supreme , the lamb was wonderfully cooked juicy and full of flavour, we would definitely go again

Good food staff are very poorly trained I had to ask three people to place an order before someone finally did. They kept pressuring customers to pay cash instead of using card which just felt uncomfortable. The good was great though. Maybe somewhere you can get good food to take away?

Only Best Mandi I had in Birmingham

Shockingly tiny portions of lamb. Myself and my two Yemeni friends decided to treat ourselves to what we had been told would be unbelievable succulent lamb. Instead, three plates arrived loaded with colourful rice and the lamb on the bone, which with the bone and gristle removed, amounted to 50grams of edible lamb each. At £12 per dish, my friends were understandably embarrassed to the point we had to complain. Whilst additional lamb on the bone was brought out to remedy the situation, the sharp decline in service is stark. Please sort it out gents.

The visit was on Eid Al-Adha, and the service was excellent, the food was delicious and good, and the staff were very cooperative. They deserve the excellent evaluation and visit. Orders: 2 Mandi, 1/2 Haneeth Chicken, 1 Fahsa, 1 Meat Muqalqal, 3 Pepsi and Mallouh Bread. The bill was approximately 55 riyals.
