We booked a table for 4 people at 6pm on a Saturday for my stepdads birthday as it was his choice to go there. At 5:25pm I got a txt saying that the booking had been cancelled. No explanation and no apology. I get things change and mistakes happen but for them not to give a reason why shows how much they care about their customers. My stepdad was gutted but we found somewhere else to eat and had a great evening all the same.

I recently dined at Ayla Restaurant and Grill in Royal Leamington Spa, and it was an exceptional experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal. The menu features a great variety of traditional Indian dishes, all bursting with flavor. The lamb curry was a standout—tender and rich, especially with fresh naan. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations. Ayla exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Food was cold on arrival. Lamb madras the meat was tough and chewy. The sauce of the madras was over spicy, you couldn't taste anything else, but the spice. I would never order food from here again. I was very disappointed, and I feel like I have wasted my money.

Our waitress Laura was great she was so attentive and really lovely right the way through. Nothing was ever to much and she was so friendly we came on the 7th for a birthday meal and the 6 of us really enjoyed it. My mom who’s in a wheelchair felt so welcomed and even with her small appetite really enjoyed her meal. The food was amazing and we all left extremely full. Thankyou

The quality of chicken was awful. It had fat and weird pieces in our Butter chicken. Put me off of their food. The service and atmosphere was great but for food, it's not authentic Indian food. Someone who wants authentic Indian food, please avoid. Thank you.

Saturday 12th October 2024, My husband and I went out with friends Liz and Jason to ‘Miller & Carter’ at Resorts World at the NEC. Our dinner was booked for 7.00 pm, we arrived and was shown to a nice table for four with comfortable chairs in there very busy and noisy restaurant. We had to talk loud to each other as the noise level was very high. The table was nicely laid out but they were very close to other diners, which made it feel very cramped. A waiter brought us the menu to look at, there was a nice selection of meals to chose from and a good wine and drinks list. I had raging toothache and taken a lot of pain killers, so I had to be mindful of what I was going to eat and drink. Mark, Liz and I did not bother with starters but Jason had a starter of char-grilled king prawns, which he said were nice but messy. The wait between Jason's starter and the main meals was long - one and a half hours, which is not good. For our main courses My husband and Liz had the rump of lamb served pink with Dauphinoise potatoes, broccoli, peas & broad bean puree and a rich red wine jus, the lamb they said just melted in the mouth. I had the ‘Sea Bass’ fillet with Dauphinoise potatoes, char-grilled Mediterranean vegetables, pea puree and tomato tapenade, which was very nice. Jason had the 16oz Ribeye Steak, which he said was delicious served with peppercorn sauce, a wedge of lettuce with a stilton & blue cheese sauce and baby new potatoes. We washed all this lovely food down with 2 pints of ‘Atlantic’ Bitter for Mark, Jason had 2 pints of ‘Peroni’, Liz had an ‘Old Moot’ berries cider and I had two ‘Strawberry Fair’ none alcoholic cocktails. We all had desserts, Mark and Jason had the New York Style Cheesecake. Liz had the Lemon Tart with raspberry sorbet and whipped cream. I had the ‘Tiramisu’, which was lovely and light and the perfect finish to our meal. If the tables were better spaced and the noise levels not so loud and the wait for food to long, I would have rated it excellent, but in this case only very good.

Disappointing this time around. Online ordering was difficult (spam verification page kept popping up). Toast underdone, grit in mushrooms, watery scrambled eggs with too much chives, not sure the sausages were good (slight sour taste). Great atmosphere though. Might just be me, but there are many other places serving good breakfast nearby.

What a wonderful find. The food was delicious, we had a main of monkfish and a starter of scallops, both were beautifully cooked and it was washed down with a bottle of pinot that was also first class. Would highly recommend, great service and lovely surroundings.
