Sunday lunch menu incredible, no complaints at all. Service very personal and impeccable.

Although it was quiet as it was Sunday the food was exceptional value for money. In our opinion you won’t get better food for the value - they have a weekday set menu for £18

Really bad customer service me and my family had to wait over an hour for our mains to come and the portions of starters were pricey and very tiny and mains was worse paneer makhni tasted like desert yuck very sweet. Waste of time my time and money I wouldn't come back

Food was 30 minutes late and luke warm at best. Despite complimentary popadoms the food was poor. The saag paneer was bland, chetinaad chicken and achari ghost were average and it didn’t help they weren’t hot. First time ordering and very disappointed with the food. Half of food ended up in the bin on occasion which isn’t good enough!!

Great food and even better service. It wasnt too busy for a saturday night, so the food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. Particularly the grilled lamb chops for starters and the fish curry main. All the waiters were attentive but not hanging around the table. 2 hours flew by, and we'll definitely be back.

We had last visited this wonderful restaurant - which is a two hour drive away from us - six years ago. Last week we were staying overnight nearby again so booked for dinner. What a fantastic restaurant this is! The food is of an extremely high quality and is beautifully cooked. The restaurant is attractive and very comfortable. The service is impeccable. We really enjoyed our meal with an added surprise of delicious ice cream at the end! Thank you Delhi 6, keep on doing what you’re doing, you have certainly got it right!

First time here for my birthday meal, the food was delicious with great presentation, we also loved the fact it was a small menu. We had the trio of chicken starter, the chicken was so flavourful and tender, as was the lamb in the curries. The staff were lovely and very attentive, I also received a lovely dessert as it was my birthday. Will definitely be visiting again.

We've had many curries here and have to say the food is unbelievable. It's definitely the best curry spot around. However, we came here for fathers day and had to leave a review as the food somehow exceeded our expectations. Sid was our server, he was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We had the set menu and couldn't have asked for more. From starters to dessert the food was truly out of this world. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Me and my dad had booked the Delhi 6 for the 3 of us but unfortunately my mom could not make it due to work. We had a lovely day and had finished it with a delicious curry. For starter I had a sheekh kbab, very mildly spicy. And my dad had the fish 65, highly recommended. A little tip, I would ask how spicy the dish is before asking! Then for mains I had the Gosth byriani, lamb, and my dad had the chicken byriani! Both nice and perfect spice, a bit of a late developer. If I had to say one thing the price of the water is ridiculous! 4.50p for a bottle what just about lasted us for the time being there! Overall really nice!

The restaurant visit came off the back of recommendations. Everyone enjoyed a faultless dining experience. The food was outstanding. The best curry which we all thoroughly savoured. We all had a different menu option yet we all shared the same views about the standard and care given to each if us. We look forward to returning.

Lovely food, excellent service with just the right amount of attentiveness. Menu is not the usual curry house, but all the better for it: A much smaller range of dishes than normal, but a number of unique dishes, beautifully prepared. Recommended but not cheap.

We visited tonight for our first time and it won't be the last! Our new favourite 😍 The staff are so attentive and friendly to begin with and then the food is just exceptional. We loved the starters,mains and the deserts which is rare. Each dish was amazing. We rarely talk about the meal while out its just part of the experience of being out but we found ourselves talking about how good each dish was and the staff. We applaud you 👏 love this place 👏

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely evening at Delhi 6 last night. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is set out perfectly with plenty of space between each table. After traveling South India for two weeks last year we were keen to try the dishes from Kerala. We were not disappointed the food was amazing, very authentic and well presented. I would go as far as to say my meal was as good as the meals I had enjoyed in Kerala. We will definitely be going back and I would not hesitate to recommend Delhi 6 to anyone who enjoys great food.

Delivery exactly as told by JustRat. Food quality ingredients and taste is one of the best in the area. Portion sizes not too bad but would prefer a bit more meat in sauces. Still good value. Highly recommended!

We went here tonight for our son's birthday. We've been hereca few times. Food is always very good! However, service was very poor on this visit. We arrived at 7pm it was nearly an our before starters arrived. Then about half hour for main. No tip given due to poor service.

Me and my wife visited for the first time on a Friday night for dinner, service was excellent - very attentive and prompt and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Food was exceptional, I had the scallop starter which was superb, coconut sauce was great, nice bit of warming spice but not too hot. I had the rogan josh for main and my wife had the Kolapuri Murgh, both of which where exceptional. Lamb in the rogan josh was v tender and Kolapuri murgh was delicious. Naans also great, not stodgy, thin and a nice char on them. We would definitely recommend - I've spent a year in India and the food here was as good as the best food on my travels. Definitely better quality than your standard Indian restaurant by a long shot, we will definitely be coming back!

This was our first visit to Delhi six which had been highly recommended. Yes the restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and the staff very smart and the food very good and beautifully presented ,however ,the service was exceptionally slow !We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for our first course .The staff were certainly very attentive to the other customers who were very obviously regulars whilst we were largely ignored ,when we called any waiter over to our table the general response was “ just give us a minute” and off they went to serve the regulars ! Whilst we are prepared to wait for freshly prepared food ,the amount of time we had to wait for both courses was unacceptable particularly as the majority of the other customers were attended to very quickly indeed . So sadly we will not be returning and won’t be regulars.

This is an outstanding restaurant. It would be difficult if not impossible to find Indian food as good as this. The curry dishes are exquisite - some have won awards. Likewise the vegetable side dishes - they do a wonderful spinach and mushrooms. The poppadoms are delicious and come with very nice home made chutneys. AND it’s all reasonably-priced. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. And the decor is very smart. It’s a marvellous place to go and dine.

I loved it here! I visited on a Saturday night with three friends and despite it being busy (a good sign!) we weren't made to feel hurried or that we were just a table to be pushed through. The service was attentive, I asked for opinions on certain dishes and appropriate advice was given on the suitability of each one. The food was absolutely delicious, the portions just right. I chose the lamb biryani, I highly recommend it! I hadn't been here before last Saturday but I shall be making another visit again for certain.

OUTSTANDING. family meal at Deli 6. Even though we arrived at the restaurant a lot earlier, at no point where we felt unwelcome. If any thing the staff went out of their way getting us seated and served us straight away. The staff were extremely friendly. The food was divine. We can only highly recommend this restaurant. We have been many times here and can honestly say. Each meal has always been memorable and enjoyable. Thank you to ALL the staff here. Your high star rating is only want you deserve, if not more.

Left it quite late to book a table for Saturday night, but got one around 8pm. Service was a bit slow (but very polite) because it was so busy, but it was worth the wait - it was the best Indian meal I’ve had in a very long time.

The number #1 Indian restaurant in the Midlands. Food is amazing, staff are pleasant and friendly and the owner is an amazing guy. So welcoming and interacts with customers. They really cant do enough for you. From my first experience years ago untill now it's always been 5 stars all round. Me and my family frequently return, we travel quite far to get there but its definitely worth the drive. Thanks again to all at Dehli 6.

I recently ordered a takeaway from this restaurant. The biryani and prawn curry provided were excellent in terms of quality and taste. Customer service was also very good especially on what was a busy Friday. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food here was beautiful, and the staff super friendly. We had a lovely family meal, two of us being vegan, and they went above and beyond to cater for us. They bought out a personalised menu specially for us that they had prepared and it was all absolutely delicious! All the food was exceptional. Staff very attentive and incredibly polite. Visited twice in May and both times I was really impressed. Amazing food and service. Lamb chops and seabass were especially good, it was refreshing to go to a restaurant and get a decent sized seabass fillet ! Can't wait for my next visit

After placing my order I received a phone call from the restaurant apologising that their driver had not showed up. We agreed not to cancel my order and I was happy to pick it up as they could have it ready in 20 minutes. Service and food was sensational as always.

After reading a review on this website I felt compelled to write in support of the owners as this is a most excellent restaurant and the owners are fine restauranteurs. Whilst Trip Advisor is a very useful tool for both the consumer and business alike sometimes single contributions can highlight its vulnerabilities as a fair system. As discussed in previous reviews I was present in this restaurant on the night that these 2 men were asked to leave. I for one and my partner were most relieved by the managements prompt extraction of the most unruly and aggressive behaviour from one of the men who was quite threatening in his attitude. As soon as they had sat at their table the entire restaurant was overwhelmed with their raucous conversation. He shouted so loudly at one point that the whole of the restaurant fell into a shocked silence. It was at this point the management requested politely that they leave. My understanding is that previously they had been asked not to return to the restaurant. It would appear that the credibility of a poor review in support of these actions could only come from one source. As a diner who has been eating Asian food for 45 years in many restaurants I can categorically advise the reader that this is the best that you will find north of Birmingham.

I really must put some balance to the recent post by sueM9936EN entitled “Appalling situation” My wife and I were dining in the restaurant when this incident occurred and I have to say that the actions of the management were far from outrageous. Indeed, they were fully justified. There is more to this incident than meets the eye. Let me explain. This is not the first time that a similar situation has arisen. A few months ago these same two gents were shown to a table immediately adjacent to ours. After about 15 minutes of inordinately loud dialogue, which showed utter contempt for other diners, I politely asked them to tone down their conversation. My wife was particularly upset and it spoiled her evening. The manager of the restaurant overheard my comment and suggested that they move to another table. This they did. I was later given to understand that it was not the first time that customers had commented about the two gents in question. I was also aware that following this incident, the management had informed them that they were no longer welcome at Delhi 6. Clearly, these two gents, had learned no lessons and their etiquette in more recent times still left a lot to be desired. They deserved to be removed. How audacious that they should return after being effectively banned. Delhi 6 is a high quality restaurant and I am only too pleased that the management are prepared to take such difficult action which is wholly to the benefit of their loyal customer base.

Not much vegetarian food and very expensive……. There is an array of meat hut really limited on vegi choice particular barley any starters like vegi pakora all fish or meat. Waiters and service very good though.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I have been so appalled by something I witnessed recently I thought I needed to do something. I’ve eaten here a number of times and was in the other evening when I heard a man at a table with his wife barking at two other men who had not long arrived. The man was telling them very rudely to stop shouting. I thought this quite odd since while one of the two men was speaking louder than the other, they were no louder than the man and his wife were! One of the two men apologised but the man didn’t stop there, he kept on. The other man said that he had not been shouting, but the man still went on. In the end the other man gave an example of shouting to prove to the man he had not been (good on him!). So, the manager then came over and asked the two men to leave, which I thought was outrageous since the unpleasant and rude man who had started the rumpus was the one to blame! What I also found strange is that I have been in the restaurant many times and there have been couples, families with young children and large groups making way more noise that this guy was and they were never challenged. It made me wonder what the difference was and the only thing different (apart from the fact this guy was a lot quieter than any of them) is that these were two men together. So is it the noise or the fact that these were two men… Judge for yourself :(.

The best Indian restaurant in the area. Always excellent meals, quality ingredients prepared from scratch. Variety of meat, fish, vegetable and vegan options. Levels of spice to suit all tastes. Comfortable ambiance. I’m a regular.

This once iconic restaurant has in my opinion degenerated into a shambolic mess. It may have been a one of but we made a reservation on line, ( not recommended) , no confirmation so I phoned the following evening to be told 7pm was not...
