Delhi 6 in Lichfield

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant in the slightest. This is how the Indians trick the lovely English people. Half a litre of sauce and 4 pieces of meat. As a European this gastronomic experience it’s horrid considering in a good area. Best to go to the real Indian, this is waste of money.. absolutely awful. I give this restaurant a zero.

The staff here are amazing, so attentive and genuinely warm and welcoming. We had a lovely family meal here for a family birthday and they went above and beyond to make my dad feel special, even giving him a little birthday cake (and ice cream for all of us!). The food is delicious, exceptionally high-quality and as there are two vegans in the party, we appreciated the clear rundown from staff informing us what we could eat and it was very tasty!! Great place, would definitely recommend!

Great to see an Old Favourite still thriving, the restaurant full of smiley Happy Customers & a Warm Welcome from Ric, Restaurant Manager. Last minute on a Thursday Night Both had starters, Trio Murgh Tikka, exceptional & Sheekh Kebab, equally as good. Ordered mains not onthe menu, Lamb Travencore & Chili Chicken Madras hot, both very flavoursome & Delicious. Thank You Mr Rahman. Had a lovely takeaway, tried the indo-Chinese fusion and was absolutely delicious. My favourite was the chicken fried rice, even took leftovers for my lunch the next day!

Ordered the indo Chinese meal today for me and my family, and we got it delivered right to our door. Delivery was on time and food was delicious!

We had a lovely evening meal at Delhi 6. The food was amazing! We shared a mixture of dishes, the trio chicken starter literally melts in your mouth, the chicken was so tender and succulent. The king prawns and lollipop chicken were also delicious. The mains and desserts were also excellent. The service and atmosphere was great and lively. My favourite Indian restaurant, we will definitely be back!

Sorry guys but tonight’s meal was poor. Eaten in the restaurant lots of times and always great. Tonight’s takeaway - over 30 mins late which didn’t really bother us as a busy Saturday night but Fish 65 was way over cooked, chicken in our curry was very dry, fish curry we ordered was totally different from what we expected from description. Lamb rogan was fine but not as good as usual. Cheese naan had minimal cheese and cold by delivery.. plus side the lamb chops were on point. Disappointed.

We absolutely love Delhi 6! Every time we eat here, the food is perfect, the staff are warm, friendly and professional and the atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant. By far, my favourite restaurant.

We are a regular customer to Delhi 6 for many years now. The food quality has been consistently high. Kudos to the chef for bringing the real Indian taste and mouth watering flavours in the Briyani and Daal. I can confidently say this is the best restaurant in Sutton Coldfield.

We came to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday. It was wonderful. The food was delicious and everyone's dishes looked appetising. There is lots of room at the tables so you don't feel hemmed in. Staff lovely and just the right amount of attentive. There was a noisy party next to us, which did make it difficult for some of our party to hear. Once they left it was clear that the background noise was at a good level and you couldn't hear conversations at other tables etc. Will be going back!

Food is good. Delivery is an absolute royal joke! So food was tepid when delivered. Its a shame, reallllllllly puts me off ever ordering again. If delivery was better (therefore hot food also) id definately order again.

First time at Delhi 6 food Fantastic as was the service

Visited for my wife's birthday. Food beautiful and at 3 courses for £17.95 it's great value. Fish stater was beautiful as was the lamb main. . First bottle of prosecco was nearly finished before ice bucket was provided sadly. Service was a little brusque at times and the waiter kept leaning over one of the party which was a little unprofessional. Having a round table with access to part if it being difficult did not help. I would recommend it for excellent food and with some little tweaks to the service it would have been 5 stars throughout

We have been coming here since the restaurant opened. We find the food to be consistently excellent and the service is always attentive. We especially like the burrah lamb chop starter and recommend it.

We've been here several times now and are never disappointed. The menu maybe smaller and different from other restaurants but the food is amazing. The staff are friendly and efficient and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. Best curry ever , I usually have the chicken chattinad but this time I had the Kolapuri Murgh... just gorgeous. Totally recommend this restaurant ❤️😋

Having previously visited we came for a Tuesday night set meal. Such good value and the standard of food was as good as the a la carte menu. The naans and poppadoms are so crispy and fresh, starters are tasty and beautifully presented and curries are really authentic. Very friendly and attentive waiters and a lovely restaurant. I highly recommend.

The best fine-dining Indian cuisine in the area. I recommend the Allepy king prawn it is delicious every time. Staff are friendly and attentive. :)

Food is always amazing here, highly recommended 5***** Rick & Sid superb service… we wouldn’t go anywhere else. We travel from Lichfield every week to come here. Vegetarian options are delicious.
