Delhi 6 in Lichfield

My husband and I visited this restaurant yesterday evening. The staff are really nice and very helpful. We ordered from the midweek special menu which is excellent value. My starter of onion bhajis were the best I've ever had and the prawn curry I had was lovely. My husband really enjoyed his food as well.

This is my 2nd visit and the fish curry was really delicious well all the food was really good. Good company, food and atmosphere

I've been here twice last January and last May 9th 2025, last January was amazing service despite busy and lots customers. Their foods was amazing , great quality and very tasty. I always had chicken biryani. But last friday was a little bit disappointed. At first we were taken our order and it was good when it comes for main menu.. We waited for too long. All customers had their foods before us despite we ordered already. Overall, its amazing foods.

We we’re staying in a nearby hotel and fancied a curry in the local area, Delhi six popped up and the reviews were great, so we decided to eat there, And we were so pleased we did! The food is fantastic, coupled with warm friendly staff and a great atmosphere.You won’t be disappointed! Well worth the long trip from Essex! We have come here a few times over the years and it just seems to get better each time. Normalky visit on the weekend but we booked at random on a Tuesday and turned up to find they had a special on: 3 courses for £19.95. Choice was extensive, food was excellent, service was attentive but not over bearing, and value overall was great. Heartily recommend.

It is wonderful to know that every time you come to Delhi 6, the food , the service and the quality of food is always so impeccable. To this day, I’ve never tasted food like I have at Delhi 6 and so carefully cooked by these attentive and amazing chefs!! Everyone needs to try it here… trust me, you’ll love it!!

Delhi 6 is a lovely restaurant, very friendly staff, food is delicious! My family and I have been coming to Delhi 6 for a very long time now, we do have a wonderful time there! Perhaps, if I may offer some constructive feedback, service can become rather slow if there are a number of tables occupied, more staff I feel may be required, certainly when busier periods, for example Mother’s Day. I tried calling them 7 times so that I could confirm a reservation request that I made online. Online, it says that they are open, and they refuse to answer. This had forced us to book a table with another restaurant for Mothers Day.

Having recently moved to the area we decided to visit this restaurant and we are glad we did. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We decided to choose from the special menu, which was very good value, and were surprised at how much choice there was. Everything my husband and I chose was delicious. The starters were very well presented and very tasty and our main course was excellent.

Fantastic takeaway from ‘Madras Kitchen’ aka Delhi 6 in Streetly. We’ve always had great food in the restaurant so we’re excited to try the new takeaway service. We were not disappointed!! Having been a big fan of Delhi 6 restaurant since it opened, this was our first experience of the updated takeaway menu under the Madras Kitchen name. Restaurant quality food at takeaway prices - what’s not to like! Chicken jalfrezi and lamb biryani absolutely full of flavour and highly recommended 😋. We will most definitely be returning for more!

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! I’ve been dining at Dehli 6 for 2 years now and by far this is mine and my families favourite Indian restaurant. The meals are consistently delicious, authentic, arrive at the table beautifully presented and hot (temperature not spice). The service is great and the staff are personable. Would highly recommend!

Amazing service and incredible food!

We've had evening meals at delhi 6 a number of times and considered it an evening thing. But today we went with a couple of friends on a Sunday lunchtime. They do a fantastic, excellent value deal for a couple of courses (plus your popudoms and dips). The good news is that there is no compromise whatsoever on the quantity and quality of food served and our server Sid (or Cid?) was there to help us at every turn. We honestly can't think of a single negative. It was an absolute joy!

One of the best curry houses in West Mids. Seriously! Lovely staff, great service and just fantastic food. Its the perfect balance of quality of service without having to charge through the nose for it. 5 stars in our opinion, and we've had a few curries, both in Birmingham and around the world!
