Me and my partner came for dinner to the Miller and Carter Penn. We had a wonderful timer, our server Laura was amazing she recommended us some new dishes that tasted great. We will definitely be back soon!

Visited on Wednesday lunchtime and although it was very busy, we could not fault the service we received from Michelle. She was fantastic from start to finish. Our food was excellent & we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We love coming to miller & carter especially the Penn branch , The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, but what really stood out was the exceptional service from our waitress, Laura . She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the meal. It’s rare to find such warm, professional service these days—definitely a reason I’ll be coming back!

We had another great visit to Miller and Carter. The service from Laura was absolutely fabulous, as always – she’s always so welcoming, attentive, and makes sure everything is just right. We asked for veg to be well cooked and not al dented. It arrived almost raw. They brought replacements after we had eaten the meat and potatoes and were disgusting. They had no decaff hot drinks so we had to have orange juice with our mini puddings. The puddings were really "mini" and we had to ask for a bit of ice cream to go with it. Very disappointing indeed.

We were attended to by Laura who was warm , friendly, knowledgable and a fab sales person. I was supposed to be on a diet but Laura sold me all the trimmings and I thoroughly enjoyed it ☺️ thank you Laura xxx

Lovely meal, great staff and really accommodating to our needs. We didn't have long(due to us running late) I explained this to the host and they were really good at ensuring we had a lovely meal that was delivered fast and cooked perfectly.

Laura our waitress was an absolute delight. Very attentive and engaged in conversation with us. The service far outweighed the quality of the food to be honest. My meal was warm with the exception of the hot potatoes. Don't visit often so have no idea if the onion loaf is supposed to be served cold!

Lovely night at a sophisticated steakhouse this bank holiday - the service was quick and our server Laura was nothing short of wonderful, checking up on us throughout our meal and maintaining a lovely rapport. Would absolutely recommend for a family meal!

Arrived at 19:20 for a table that was booked for 19:30 we got told no buzzers available but they would shout us when our table was ready. Fast forward a hour and we still hadn’t been seated but people that had arrived later than us and had tables booked for after us were being called through. When I asked when we would be seated I got asked where my buzzer was I explained we hadn’t got one. There reply was we will try to seat you now we told them to forget it. Further more we had to encounter a group of lads come in smelling of weed and wearing caps. When staff confronted them they threatened to kick off if they wasn’t fed and watered. Guess what?? They got served!!! Absolute disgrace

Lovely meal. Laura was an awesome server.

It was really busy considering it was 5.45. It took ages for us to receive our initial drinks but when Laura took over it was better. The food took a long time to come out and our 7 year old was becoming really restless.

Absolutely dreadful experience tonight, and we visit regularly. After 25 minutes we got asked for drinks order, after 90 minutes we'd still only had drinks and a starter. One special menu starter not available but told no you can't have the dessert off this menu if you have a starter off the main menu even though it wasn't our fault. Eventually had all courses after 3 hours. Food was ok once we got it but by then I don't think any of us cared.

Laura was brilliant, she was extremely attentive and always made sure our glasses were full. Would 100% return!

Couldn’t recommend miller and carter enough, the atmosphere was really nice, food was great, and had lovely service from Laura, Laura was absolutely friendly and it was a delight to be looked after by her, overall she made our service and experience really well and couldn’t have picked a better person to look after us.

Went for an early meal and very quiet. Had the early bird set menu which was good value however found the deserts quite restrictive as only two choices. Laura served us and was very pleasant and helpful.
