Our experience was excellent!!! After being seated in a area we wanted they got our drinks and everything FAHIM and KARIMs service was amazing the fire guy was so fun putting on a song from our country of Iran and doing a whole production for us and yeh servers were so kind and entertaining thank you for such a amazing evening can’t wait to see. Them again soon

Waqar was a lovely server, I asked him to turn the extremely loud music down and he done so without hesitation. Food was nice.

First time and sadly don't think I'll be going for a while. We went late night. Afyer 9pm. Wasn't busy and the food took ages. Waited so long. Food arrived.. ordered meat burger which was ok and the Turkish platter. Parts if the meats were dry which is really disappointing considering its designed around meat

Jacob’s service was impeccable. always at our table asking us if we needed anything. he even gave us free turkish tea. amazing service!

Place needs a refurb asap. 2 broken seats out of 4 on our table. The food wasn't any better than Smaller independent Turkish restaurants. AVOID this place if you're looking for a nice meal in a pleasant setting. Oh and they cram the tables in well for maximum capacity 💷.

The etci Mehmet deal for two is really good around 42, comes with an array of chicken, beef, lamb bread, rice & salad that otherwise might come out to 100 elsewhere. The meats spiced really well, it's balanced and not overwhelming and the staff really attentive. Nice place to stop by if you're visiting for the day, there's a Ferris wheel next to it.

The food was good, the ambiance was amazing, but what truly stood out was the hospitality - oh my goodness, they were incredibly hospitable! The staff were excellent too. Worth every penny!"

My brother and I first came to this restaurant when it opened in star city and we were disappointed with the food, we did not enjoy anything. However we tried it again today after so long and i must say there was a vast improvement. We really enjoyed everything, we didnt get a steak this time as neither of us were in the mood for one. However, he had the Cheese meatball, very tasty, We had the barbecue ribs, which were amazing. We had the Turkish mixed grill And a classic burger which i really enjoyed. We are Planning to go again next week with more family members. I hope i enjoy it and the consistency is kept up. The only reason it was not 5 stars is because the table for 2 they gave us was not in a comfortable part of the restaurant, we had to move for people to get past and we felt like we were placed in the walkway furthermore, we felt a little rushed for the next dish to come out when they could clearly see there was no space on the table.

Beef Tacos are absolutely amazing! I had the lamb ribs with sides of rice and salad, the meat was so tender it was falling of the bone, food is a bit on the pricey side, I then went back a few weeks later and had the San Sebastián cheesecake I can confirm it tastes just like the one you would eat in Istanbul.

I recently went to effes in London, and hugely preferred my Adana at Etci.

Marvellous experience at a well known restaurant in Brum! Very professional service provided! Made our party one of the best we had. Very highly recommended and will visit over and over again! Jacob and Waqar were two brotherly guys who served well and made us feel at home!

Great steak, great ambiance. We fully enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended. Kudos to manager Kemal who runs a fantastic restaurant, the food is delicious, the waitresses are happy and they have great attention to detail. Well done all the waiters especially Hidayat! We hope to come back!

Great food, service and quality atmosphere. Good atmosphere for an occasion abd made my friends birthday special. She felt very happy and celebrated. The waiters were attentive, warm and friendly. Especially Karim, thank you.

We had an incredible dining experience at Etçi Mehmet, Star City! Their new Kebap Menu is a must-try - everything is charcoal-grilled and freshly prepared daily. We loved the Etci Special Kebap, which features a mix of juicy lamb chops, adana kebap, and tender chicken shish. The starters were just as impressive, especially the Mezze Platter (specifically cacik and hummus), the Turkish sausage, and crispy Turkish spring rolls. Beyond the food, the service was outstanding! The staff were attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had the best experience. The lively atmosphere, spectacular fire show, and delicious Baklava for dessert made it even more special. Highly recommend for a great meal, whether it’s a family gathering or a casual night out! It's 100% halal and worth a visit!

Best Turkish restaurant we have ever been. Fahim's beatiful dance presentation made our evening special. It was my neice's birthday and we loved it. The food, atmosphere, service by hidayat, jacob, nikhil and all the guys were brilliant. Highly recommended and will be back again

Food was fabulous as well as the ambience. Loved the fire show performed by Mr Fahim. Mr Nikhil and Hidayat was excellent and was hospitable. Will be coming soon.

Atmosphere is nice Food is average little over price But i am giving 4 stars because when i made complaint they look after me and they didnt charge me its not about the money But always good food But everyone deserves a chance. Over all good experience. Staff is really well mannered and friendly

Food was decent, price was fine, but the presentation was a bit basic when you can get a much higher quality experience in mailbox and city centre for a similar cost. But the main issue was the Service, it was amateur and embarrassing, I asked in advance for a comfortable table for my wife who had some back pains, when we arrived a waiter took us to a seat with a bench, it was near the door so we asked can we sit in the same booths but just a few tables down, they said no that’s for 6 chairs, it was the exact same table size all they had to do was move the chairs and it would be the same, but they refused, so we said no problem how about over here where it’s nice and quiet, it wasn’t that busy either, I walked over and a rude idiot with a ponytail who claimed his name is Faheem said very condescendingly, this is closed! Go over there. Again he could have been more respectful, also a bit of a silly statement, why do you close a table that’s a few meters away? even if that was the case, he could have been polite about it. Very rude and a bit of a dic*, we were about to leave but decided to not let one prat waiter ruin the night, we then got our food, the sides however didn’t come together, including the sauce which after we ordered they changed because it wasn’t ready, just bad communication with that basic stuff and the ponytail prat who did some fire effects to some people, decided to ignore us as he walked past a few times. To be fair the other waiter was nice and made up for it & checked on us. Overall for what you pay we just expected politer service that was more accommodating and less dismissive, it’s not the first time we’ve been to a higher value dining experience and the service is normally excellent, not this place though, maybe they were a little judgmental of us, who knows. In the end before we left I looked at the tables we couldn’t sit on and both were empty lol, again Food wasn’t bad and price was alright, we had the steak with sides & I got the premium lamb chops, Overall not a terrible place, but there’s much better steak options in Birmingham.

Always consistent service from this place. Waiters are knowledgeable and happy to help, atmosphere is great Never seen the place empty, will always return here with my family and it’s reasonably priced for this type of restaurant

We had the pleasure of meeting and being waited on by Hidayat. He was so lovely, professional and extremely helpful and accommodating with the 10 of us, which included 4 young children. Food was amazing and I do hope you have Hidayat.

Hidayat was our waiter. He made our experience at this restaurant memorable. He was very attentive and very mannerable. I 100% recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food, definitely order the special steak with fire show! Great atmosphere, vibes and their special steak sauce + bread is on another level. Good variety mocktails, efficient service, excellent price and would definitely come again. Jacob was a friendly waiter, always there when you need to order something else and service with a smile!

This is the first time we visited etci mehmet and the restaurant food and service is phenomenal. We really enjoyed our time as a family. Karim was an amazing host and provided excellent service.

We had a fantastic meal this evening! Decided to stop over enroute south. We were looked after by Waqar who was professional, courteous and friendly. Our food order was a cheesy meatball, beef rib and special steak. Well worth the visit. Interestingly, they also do an excellent selection of fresh grill skewers - lamb chops, lamb ribs and lamb rump, Adana kebab, chicken wings, chicken shish and chicken kebab.

Had a lovely meal here. I had the spicy chicken kebab. Mehad was a great server and took care of us.

Walk in. No reservation but we were seated quickly. My wife had always wanted to try here, and we were not disappointed. Service was quick. The food was great. The atmosphere was nice. All in all, it was a great experience.

Honestly one of the best places I’ve ever eaten, I never go back to the same place and I never order the same thing, I broke both these taboos here. When we’re next in town we will come back here without a doubt. Our servers Fahim, Jacob and Mehad were fantastic. Fahim’s skills with the flames are impeccable and make this one of the best culinary experiences I’ve experienced for a long time. Keep up the flawless work guys.

Good food , the waiter was very informative, place immaculate, prayer room nice ample size 👍 able to prayer & ponder . Wife vomited food during service . Service charges bit steep ??? Like we were paying the vat 4 the meal ...??? Service charge = tips should be voluntary.... then I had upset stomach issues overnight & episode of diarrhoea and hardcore vomiting b4 I went to work.... eat nothing 4 6hrs.... #relief

They looked after us to be honest, so no complaints really the platter for 4 REALLY IS FOR 4 So I highly recommend that! Drinks and everything was good. Recommend the lamb ribs, chops and sheesh kebabs from the platter. But I’d definitely be back. Thanks again

I visited first time, food was amazing and esp Hiyadat at Bham branch make this place special for me. He suggested special steak menu, I ordered Tomhawk , beef shushi and so much more. Hidayat was polite and fun in dancing . Stay blessed and a must visit restaurant at least once. I will def come back.
