More show than taste and quality. Good atmosphere but a bit ott, tbh.

Mashallah very nice food, the staff were very helpful.I spilled my drink and the staff cleaned it within seconds.Nice prayer rooms, clean toilets.We as a family felt like we were eating in Turkey. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We went here 2 weeks ago and the food and service was subpar. I and a couple of others had asked for medium rare steaks and sauces to go with them, we received the steaks but not the sauces (which is quite odd…), we decided to dig in anyway as there was no sign of sauces arriving. Low and behold the steak was essentially uncooked from the inside and COLD. We made a complaint and sent back 4 steaks, they returned and it was still extremely raw on the inside (I feel like they popped it in the microwave as there was little to no difference from the original). We made another complaint and they took it away and brought our sauces (nice! we now have sauces but no steak😡). We decided to leave after this as majority of our table had finished eating and this took around 40 minutes of our time. It might have been a bad day but I will not be returning as I have had a bad first impression.

Entry into restaurant is like entering a nightclub, loud music set for dinner time which isn’t appropriate. A lot of money has been to thrown at the look of the restaurant but sadly not the attention to detail of food. Bread that was ordered should’ve come first with the meze. Bread not like authentic Turkish bread whatsoever. Salad arrived without dressing. Was dry… no knowledge of true Turkish food at all. Expensive for what we had. Much better meals to be had at small local Turkish restaurants at a fraction of the price. Very disappointing

Arrived here around 8pm, all I can say is the food was nice… not sure about the service. We asked if we could order drinks first as we were still deciding what to order - we went as a group of 6. Bearing in mind it would take a while for us to choose and give our order as there was 6 of us… The waiter, Bhatti said that we would have to order drinks and food together. As we battled the thought of thirst, we finally gave our order and requested a bottle of water whilst the mocktails were being made. Thinking the bottled of water would arrive first…. It never even arrived until we requested again after we had received our food. I don’t know what has happened to this place as my first experience was lovely and lively with fire experience.. the second time round it’s like there was no effort with customer service. Waiters kept hovering over us as if they are in a hurry for us to quickly eat and leave. Disappointed.

Bhatti was an ok waiter. Food was okay but I feel like they have lost the standard of what once was a great place to eat.. prices have shot up again and no idea why.. I wish these places would realise how many customers they lose because of just raising the prices to something stupid.. food came out cold too and the atmosphere wasn’t the same anymore.. was a bit gutted if I’m honest as this used to be one of my favourite joints..

This is second time we come. Worst experience ever with the waiter named Bhati ( the old man with grey hair), although the food was delicious but his service was terrible nearly kicking us out of the restaurant ( asking us to pay and we have not finished our food) and we spent only 35 min in the restaurant. He was very rude asking us about our nationality in a racial way at the time of order in-front of our kids .

A hyperbole of food well grilled, intwined with the servicing much adorned substituting for any shortcoming in food experience, encapsulating the experience vis-a-vis rudimentary antique environmental vibe. Genuine criticism includes the music which conflicted with the family/friend dining setting. Desert: Amazing ice cream with the cheesecake. Very hospitable to a large group, serving complimentary tea.

Was served by Archie’s, food came very quick and was super tasty. Service was 10/10 and Archie also offered us complimentary Turkish tea to finish off which made the experience all the more better. Would definitely come back here again!

**** EDIT TO ORIGINAL REVIEW **** Following my review below, I had a call from the manager here, who listened empathetically to my concerns, with an aim to ensure that he could put things right, which I truly appreciated. After speaking through my entire previous visit with the manager, he invited me to give them another chance. I visited again today, and the service was excellent! The atmosphere was vibrant and the food was outstanding! My daughter who is autistic, was reluctant to return, however, she is now so glad that she did as she enjoyed every minute! We all had a lovely evening and left feeling extremely satisfied! I just want to say thank you to all staff for making this experience amazing, and for the manager who went above and beyond which truly demonstrates his passion! I have already recommended this place to my friends and family and thought it was fair to update my original review. ---‐------------------------------------------------------------- I was disappointed by my visit here. I had expected the experience to be sensational after reading online reviews. However the service was poor, the restaurant was empty at 5pm but yet I was seated by the door. As the restaurant was empty it would've been nice to be offered a better seat, especially as the decor is beautiful. The staff hovered around my table at the door, which made me feel uncomfortable whilst eating. When I ordered the Tbone steak the waiter said "wow" which I found offensive. Would not recommend this place, I should've went elsewhere.

Hi. 👋 I been in this place few weeks ago. I really like this place. I would like to mention it, they have very beautiful designs inside and outside, with tasty delicious food. I don’t give them 5 stars because, I was felt stressed to see all the time staff members waiting next to our table! The waitress waiting all the time next to our table and watching around. I believe this attitude affects the customers! Also, price is quite expensive! Beautiful designs and delicious foods! Definitely i don’t recommend it!

Food quality gone down hill and customer service. Freezing cold mash which was sent back and waiting over 5 minutes for a replacement. The chicken screwer was pink inside and my husbands steak quality was below par. We use to visit here all the time but now there is no atmosphere or customer service. I would not recommend especially with all the other steak options in Birmingham. Very disappointing visit 0/10.

Great food we loved it , the steak melted in your mouth , grilled platter was so soft and tasty too but the kids menu was very disappointing 🫠🫠🫠 the burger so airy meat inside it was sooooooo small you need microscope to see it 🤣🤣 , drinks was great also service so professional and kind , place decoration the vibes all great 😊♥️ We paid 130£ for all the Price was expensive but well deserved it ( except the kids menu 😅) Ps the praying room , big respect to the restaurant owners make it easier to catch up with our prayers give us relaxing feelings may allah grand you jannah .

I have wanted to come here foe some time. Finally went over the weekend. I got a surf and turf. It came out and I was stuned. A piece of plain steak zero seasoning and zero sauce with what looked like 3 frozen prawns ontop. I order fries separately thank God as the £30 meal didn't come with any sides at all. Food was horrendous. Don't think I've ever been so disappointed at a meal. Honestly don't know how the place is still open. Extortionate prices for food that has no seasoning,zero quality and tiny portions. Would never come here again.

The food was way overpriced. Service is extremely low. The atmosphere was kinda dead. But what really annoyed me was the price for a mediocre slow service. Wasn't worth the price at all, in my opinion

We booked based on the lunch menu advertised on website - see image. When we tried to order, we were told it had not been running that menu for 6 months; we couldn't really leave as it was a large group booking for a birthday. The spinach and feta spring rolls were gritty, sandy, we think the spinach hadn't been washed, we'd shared it amongst us and most people spat it out but we couldn't return it since we had all taken a piece to share. The bread was insufficient for a shared mezze and we were charged extra for more. Very disappointed. The steak was fine, we did generally enjoy the experience, partcularly the entertainment and staff were good (though not at all apologetic about the misleading advertising which they blamed on head office). The restaurant was busy, so they must be doing something right. Edit: their reply to my review asked i contact them via email. They ignored my email, so I expect there is no real intention to resolve issues.

Bhatti waqr was exceptional and was very attentive and we also came with a child and he was making him laugh and even took him on a walk around the restaurant to help him stop crying so honestly was so sweet and was making jokes to us the whole time which really made us all laugh as well so if I was to come back I’d love to have him as our server again! 😊
