We had such an amazing time.Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — we all loved. The atmosphere was so lively and fun, especially with the fire shows and traditional dancing. My kids were completely amazed and couldn’t stop talking about it! It really made the our day extra special for all of us. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. You could tell they really cared about giving everyone a great experience. We loved every moment and can't wait to visit again. A truly unforgettable night for the whole family! And thanks to one of the staff too names karim fahim but to honest every one there were amazing 👏 🤩

Bhatti Mehad served us, he was amazing, right from beginning he looked after us and was very courteous. The meal was great, delicious. Kids loved it as well. Would surely visit again.

Bhatti Mehad was a great server. Delicious Sunday lamb. Wonderful setting for the weekend yet not too busy. Upstairs would be good for a event.

First time coming here, and I mosy Fahim and Jacob with the best service I’ve ever experienced in Birmingham, their attention to detail and willingness to help is unmatched. The food here is absolutely outstanding and well seasoned to fit all pallets. Definitely coming back here again 😍

Horrible experience. Ordered a full lamb rack and during their "fire show," a fuel can misfired and sprayed kerosene onto the meat. We didn’t realise until we tasted it - chemical, disgusting, and honestly dangerous. Kerosene poisoning isn't a joke!! When we complained, the waiter just laughed it off and said, "Okay, what do you want me to do about it?". No apology, no accountability, just pure indifference and disrespect. They eventually reheated the lamb until it was overcooked and ruined, thinking that was acceptable. Service was just as bad - 10 minutes to bring a Coke, and the "Etci Special Kebab for 2" was served cold. Warning to anyone thinking of eating here: the staff are careless, the service is a mess, and your health clearly isn’t a priority. Eat here at your own risk.

So, I wanted to come here for a Birthday meal. Lucky I had a look at the menu before arrival! Question. Why is it that you have no vegetarian main meal options? Even meat eaters occasionally prefer a vegetarian option. You have starters, and salad and some sides. But no main dish as a vegetarian option. We have a member of family who would just be excluded from a meal if we are to turn up. Your menu definitely needs more work to it.

Went after watching a film at the cinema. Really nice food. We had a couple of starters and the Assado lamb. REALLY nice. Although there are some meat free options, it's really all about the meat. There's quite a lot we want to try so we will definitely go back. The prices are good for the quality and service you get. The service was also very good and the whole restaurant is of a very high spec. Recommended.

Great atmosphere beautiful place lovely staff and food was the best turkish food ever had. we are from newcastle and i highly recommend. Staff are on their feet and very accommodating. Booked in advance.. sat before appointed time. Great decor and atmosphere… Music was upbeat and didnt make you want to fall asleep like some places. Served by the lovely Mehad. Prompt service… food sizzling hot… good variety. We had the platter so we could taste a bit of everything… platter for 2 could of served 3 people maybe. Mehad served us with complimentary turkish tea which finished off the Etci mehmet experience with a BANG!!!!

I came here with my family and girlfriend, we were quickly accompanied to our table. The restaurant was beautiful, felt very luxurious and had a nice ambiance to set the mood for a good night out. Out order arrived swiftly and along with it came an experience i can never forget, our server Özkan surprised us with a show to show how tender the meat was, which tasted delicious. After our meal we had some turkish tea and enjoyed the rest of our night!

Etci Mehmet has an amazing atmosphere. It reminded me of the atmosphere that you would see in Istanbul, lively, friendly and always that something special! The steak was great and I ordered medium and got it to perfection!

I was compelled by Bhatti to leave a review, which I’m doing now. Unfortunately, our server was overly attentive, watching our table throughout the night and not giving us much space. The service felt invasive, which detracted from our dining experience. It seems many reviews are prompted by Bhatti’s insistence on standing at tables until guests write a review.

First visit to etci mehmet and really enjoyed the experience. Very nice food and service especially by Bhatti Saab.

Very good. The lamb was cooked brilliantly and with the bread was amazing. Great starters and a awesome cheesecake! Turkish coffee and tea are also very good, and the entire experience was great overall. Will come again.

The food was terribly good. I have tried numerous Turkish places, but this awfully good. And the waiter, Jacob, he made the atmosphere very comfy and friendly. If you want to have the food here, one advice, do not eat anything beforehand, because you’ll definitely loose out if you don’t get to eat it fully. The steak, ribs and starters are just mouth watering….very good.
