Nicely located burger bar/pub. Relatively full on arrival but we were immediately given a seat and a menu. The drink was nicely chilled and of good measure. The fries are excellent - I recommend their naked normal Burger big enough, meat beautifully made juicy. Nice service

Staff is great! The guys are always with a smile on their faces and ready to help you! The place is nice, big and they have the shared table outside, in case it is full inside! No problem about the cold weather, once they have those heaters and it is great. Now, about the food: we ordered the fries (they are great!! Crunchy, tasty and colorful) and the chicken and the pineapple burger. The chicken was delicious, lots of flavors. The pineapple was good, but nothing special. Overall, it’s worth the visit!

Food was so good. Louisiana fried chicken burger and odb fries with coleslaw. Oreo brownie. Low alcohol beer. An enjoyable evening with colleagues, in a really genuinely chill space, thank you! Worth the wondering if I was walking into the right rainy dark alley for!

A hidden gem that's well worth the visit. The food here is culinary delight. The portions, the taste, the atmosphere, the music. I was starving the last time I was here, and the food hit all the right spots. I'd post pictures but I devoured the food before I had a chance to take them.

Fabulous burgers and fried chicken. They always have decent craft ales. I recommend looking at the specials which are always great.

Horrendous service. No professionalism. Asked to leave table I sat at whilst having my meal. No table organisation. Food is sloppy. Instead of one or two waiters, different people running to table to serve, this resulted in staff being confused with themselves and us not being able to enjoy or meal or evening.

Had a great experience at OPM. Absolutely delicious burgers, fries adequately loaded by not overloaded to the extent that fries became soggy, stayed crispy throughout. The boneless nuggz and harmony are also worth a mention - amazing. I’m not usually one to order beer with my burger but the Siren Pilsner really seemed to complement the meal. Highly recommend. Shame we were too full for dessert as the strawberry custard pie sounded sublime. Definitely coming back.

My son and I are passing through Birmingham to attend a Premier League match this weekend. We spotted this OPM place on Google Maps and we don't regret it. We enjoyed the Burgers, the establishment and the service. Thank you.

I'm surprised this place has such high reviews to be honest. Do not order from this place to be delivered or you will be disappointed, my food came cold despite living close, the burger was chewy (I didn't ask for the patty well done) and as I mentioned, cold. To top it all off, the chips that I ordered were also cold and tasted as though they had been reheated. Completely and utterly dissapointed that they cannot deliver a good service, especially for the prices they charge.

Certainly not as popular as it was, the food is still amazing and great staff.

Best place for Burgers in my opinion! I've tried a fair few Burger joints but nothing beats O.P.M! The staff are always welcoming and helpful which is appreciated. The venue is a vibe and I must say the O.P.M Merch is in heavy rotation amongst me & my Mrs. Also they do offer a Gluten Free bun which is great for our Coeliac brothers & sisters!

Quite average burgers located a few minutes walk from Birmingham new Street. Not highly recommended but still can try it out if no other options !

Full 5 stars round the board with nothing I can find wrong with the location at all. It's a bit of a difficult find being away from the main part of town, but I was directed by my more foodie friend and I'm so glad I was. 🤠👍

Really great burgers in a relaxed setting. Toppings worked well and were interesting without being super rich. A little on the expensive side for the portion size. Also got a great t-shirt!

I heard that it is award winning burger place, so I was expecting something more advanced and tastier. It was definitely good burger but not in my top 10. Prices are adequate for what you get. We also have the nugget which we don’t recommend.

Slightly off the beaten track location but well worth the visit. Staff and service was friendly and helpful, the American staff member is probably the most hospitable person in Birmingham! Margaritas are a MUST try 9.9/10 Food was 9.5/10 and we had the beef burger, tofu burger and loaded fries plus slaw. Slaw wasn’t the best we’ve had but everything else was delicious! First tofu burger that was super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and not dry!!! Nice selection of soft drinks as well plus a specials board worth looking at (planning to come back for the cauliflower wings) Definitely worth the trek 🤤

Ordered in restaurant and on uber eats. Everything was great dropped 1 star because if you order a root beer on uber eats they ID you depite it not bring alcohol. I have contacted them to change this on numerous occasions but still got asked for ID today.

Great place. The "cheezy-e" burger was lovely, Similar taste to something like smash burger. Prices for the food were equitable, although the soft drinks were very overpriced.

Great place tucked away near Moor Street station. Superb burgers, veggie ones too, and great range of soft and alcoholic drinks. Great puddings. Friendly staff. I went for a cheesy burger with extra patty that put McDonald's in it's place. A Sanford cider and deep fried apple pie and cold custard. Now bring back the chilli fries. Best fish ever.

You need a pilsner with the Wednesday wings as they are top chicken drawer but have a kick. Older wife wouldn’t allow me to blow Czech soup midweek so grateful the plantar fasciitis stopped her stepping out . Great and cool serving dudes and coleslaw that was visible and not drowned in life shortening ultra processed mayo like the bad place round the corner. Keep it going Alabama!

Amazing burger at OPM! The slaw and spiced fries were so good, we wolfed it down in about 5 minutes. Love the artwork on the paper wrapping and service was also great. We only had to wait around 10 minutes for food to be served. Would definitely recommend!

me and my friend ordered the chicken burger with fries. the fries were cooked to perfection, with the perfect amount of salt, however the chicken burger was bland and the chicken was stringy. it tasted vegan? i’m not sure but the texture put us off from finishing the burger. service and atmosphere was good. i would maybe recommend if you prefer beef burgers, which it seems is their specialty…

I have only been once before and it was many years ago, but OPM did and still does exceed expectations 🥹 staff were so friendly and accomadating. I had the cheeseburger with boneless nuggets, slaw & ODB fries and everything was delicious. Thehighlight for me is the bossman burger sauce!! Did get extra greedy and had the chocolate brownie for dessert which was also lovely 😌

I ordered Cheasy-E burger. Really tasty. But the package of the food have heavy ink smell. It makes the food have ink smell. Really good and tasty food. But the ink smelling :( Btw, it’s confusing to find the entry door.😅

Burgers were okay. Luke warm, taste good enough. Not particularly loaded or messy. Better than a high street take away? Probably, but not at a level that justifies the premium price I felt. Wouldn’t go out of my way for them.

Simply the best burgers we've had in the UK in the past 10 years. Would recommend without hesitation. WAnd take advantage of the craft beer bar next door that's part of the same business!!

Mandatory stop for burger lovers!

Their Burgers were refreshing. Every burger joint these days are trying to make all those weird burgers with loads of sauces and different ingredients so eating a simple burger was refreshing for me. We tried their Bacon Cheeseburger and the Cheezy-e Burger and their OPM Fries and cauliflower wings with buffalo sauce. I personally didn’t enjoyed the wings but everything else was super tasty. The burgers were delicious and their fries as well. However the fries come in suck a small box/bowl so it is really hard to eat but still tasty. I felt like they were understaffed. The whole restaurant was full but there was only one waitress who was trying to serve all those tables at the same time props to her. They can use another one or two waiter. Overall i had great experience here definitely worth a visit.

I want badly to give this place 5 stars, because it has the potential- but sadly there are factors which mean the experience is a letdown. The burgers are seriously good, most of the time. Unfortunately, if you happen to attend the restaurant at a time when the Birmingham public fancy ordering in, the quality of your food and experience will be tainted. Waiting approximately 45 minutes for food in a restaurant at around 75% capacity isn’t good enough. Having a stream of Uber Eats/Deliveroo/whatever drivers coming in and out diminishes the atmosphere and, in my experience, has meant the burger suffered in quality too. I’m not sure what OMP can do to combat this, but (seemingly) prioritising delivery drivers’ orders over those in your own restaurant isn’t great. If this issue was resolved, I wouldn’t hesitate to give OMP 5 stars. Lastly, I’ve seen a few complaints about the servers in other reviews, but the server who works there from the US (Alabama, if I’m not mistaken) is wonderful and a credit to the place.

Not the best… not the worst.. I’ve been aiming to eat from here for years but always said I’d visit the restaurant. Realising this experience just keeps getting delayed so instead did a delivery. The fries were fantastic. I think fresh in the restaurant they would have been amazing. The burger… it was nice and kinda all the tastes you expect from a burger of this standard. And would definitely recommend dropping in or ordering a beef burger. I had the bbq burger. But wasn’t the most spectacular of burgers or something that set a new bar of best ever kinda like I expected. It was slightly dry in places and expected something a little more moist. The sauce is their burger sauce, which was nice but wouldn’t have noticed any difference to something budget like a crucials sauce. The bbq taste on the burger was non existent, but probably not helped by that cheese being so damn good.

Overall good. Went in for poutine because somebody posted they have poutine but they don't have poutine.

Both me and my friend had the vegan special with fries both were very good. Generous portion of fries only thing l did not enjoy was the music. It was much too loud .

The burgers were ok, but expensive. Fries were good. Slaw was tasteless. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but the space is chilly and lacking in atmosphere and the staffing seemed inadequate - and there's just no excuse for single-use vessels for a dine-in establishment. If you want a burger I'm not sure it's worth the premium compared to the chains.

The goats, eaten here for years and always leave happy and full. You have to try the specials but the core menu always hits too. Good music, cool merch and branding, good scran. What's not to like?

Burgers aren’t that amazing and the taste isn’t all their either , the service is awful waited over and hour and the place is hard to find. Not many options on the menu compared to a better burger restaurant that you’d find in London, had better burgers at McDonald’s. Would avoid if u want a quick bite to eat to .

I had a cream soda and a double bacon cheeseburger. The burger would have been very good if it weren't that salty (too salty for me). The service and waiting time were good. The area where the restaurant is located is not very nice and the music is very loud. People have to shout at each other to understand each other which makes it even louder. Maybe it's intended so that people do not stay too long.

I have to say, after reading the reviews I was very disappointed. The fries were not tasty, at all. The burger did not have any of the pineapple that it was listed as having and the soft drinks were overpriced. Such a shame, I wouldn't go back. Nice interior though.

I am a regular at OPM. Wherever I stay up in Birmingham for business I pop in for a most excellent burger. The specials are often interesting, unusual and super tasty. My favourite ever was the "Chimi Some More" with a smoky red chimichuri, chatted jalapenos and blue cheese sauce. The ODB fries are ace as well. Good music, nice people, great burgers, craft beer (Siren brewery) in a casual space under a railway arch. I'm a big fan.

Don't like doing this as I haven't actually eaten here (I tried!!) but after looking forward to eating here before a gig I was turned away as "they had sold out" I turned up well before closing time, nearly 2 hours before in fact and bearing in mind you're unable to book/reserve tables here it really pee'd me off. Going back to how they informed me, it was like they enjoyed waiting for people to come through the door and sharply shout 'sorry no food left"...strange. Maybe they do so well and earn so much money they just don't need 'ALL' customers. Hey ho, won't be going back.

Visited last night, what a gem. The service was smashing, the team all seemed like lovely people, music was great. And the food was fabulous. I had a mushroom po’boy - I’m usually wary of sloppy mushrooms, but no fear here - textures were fantastic, flavours stunning. (I’ve had a po’boy in New Orleans and this was up there, for sure.) OPM (?) fries were delicious, I preferred them over the Alabama ones. Partner had a Pineapple-something burger and wings - he said best wings he’d ever had. And after two Mai Tais I was having an even better time! Definitely want to return and have told a few people already that I’ll take them haha.

Rude bunch of boys. Closed the kitchen 2 hours early and then seemed to delight in telling you you couldn't eat. Claimed it was due to 'selling out' but there were only around 6 people dining in so I suspect it was more due to wanting to go home as it's not hard to make a patty, especially as a chef who makes them all day. We were going to gig so had planned to grab food there on the way, not realising they decide to stop serving whenever they fancy as this isn't stated on their website. We went next door to Kilder (tap room), which we didn't realise was also run by the same people until there was no one there and they ran from next door with the same bad attitude problem. A question of if they have a menu for the cans in the fridge was met with a sarcastic pointing at a pile of random menus at the end of the bar that looked stacked up ready to go away, which is why we hadn't noticed them. When I realised they were connected to next door I asked if they were also going to close early and did we have time for drinks. It was met with an unusually long silence for such a simple question, so I repeated 'what time do you close?' He smirked and said 'when I get bored' - nice one, thanks for that. We had nuts in Kilder which were nice, or maybe we were extremely hungry, and it's a well done out place, so gave them an extra star for that. As we sat in the bar we saw a group of 7 go into original patty men and get turned away... literally just put a sign on the door, it isn't hard?? However they did seem to genuinely enjoy turning us away so maybe they get a kick out of feeling like a big fish in a small pond. Terrible attitudes has secured that we won't try there again.

Waiting time is very long, I thought 40 mins for burgers and chips is just ridiculous especially since there was a not a lot of people in the restaurant. The food was not that great, my chicken burger was slightly pink so was a bit concerning, I had hoped the time waited would’ve been worth it if the food was good but was let down. Price is a bit excessive given the size of the portions. Atmosphere was ok but nothing special about the appearance of the place.

In 2019 we went in search of a burger in Birmingham, we found this place……it was chicken wing Wednesday!! We left….fast forward to 2023…. We tried again ( on a Saturday) it was worth the wait. An absolutely excellent down to earth bacon cheeseburger, with fries. Great place, friendly staff and a good vibe. Will definitely return

Great burger joint in Digbeth. Lots of options. Loved there was an extensive soft drink menu as well as beers, wine and cocktails. Burgers were all great and loaded fries looked a mammoth portion. Wish I'd had room to try dessert. The servers were THE NICEST people and really made it a great experience. I'm from Newcastle but if we had a O.P.M, I'd only get a burger there from now on.

Best. Burger. Ever. Guinness chicken wings were immense. Siren was a lovely tipple and loved the option to have 2/3 pints. Perfect for a working lunch.

Excellent vibe, nice and comfortable for solo eaters. I stay in Birmingham for regularly for work so it's an easy place to go for a good quality burger, but be warned it is a bit pricey. One niggle, Why charge extra for gluten free bun? Your prices can more than absorb the very slight additional cost, it just feels an unnecessary money making exercise!

We ordered a takeaway from here and the food was good but nothing special. So the prices are a bit surprising for the burgers with no fries. The quality of beef was good..Chicken burger was a very thin fried patty which was disappointing. Overall flavour was nice.The delivery was so slow ..we waited well over an hour for the food to be ready for the delivery guy to pick up.

Outstanding Burgers! We had the black and blue burger from the specials board and the O.D.B fries both were exceptional 👌 Black and blue burger was cooked to perfection and the blue cheese topped the whole thing off! O.D.B spicy loaded fries make the perfect side! Staff are very friendly and service was excellent. 100% recommend!

First time eating in the restaurant on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Small selection of good beers available, and a range of specials on the blackboard to supplement the normal menu. The burgers are superb, the black and blue special a particular favourite, and the fried sweetcorn is stunning.

I have been to this place about 25ish times now and this was becoming the place I looked forward to going when I was in the city. Never had a bad burger previously and the service was always relatively good. The burgers have slowly been losing some quality over the years but never enough to complain or be bad. However, the food quality and more importantly the service I received on our last visit was so bad that I will never recommend or go back to this place again. How can a place that mainly sells burgers get it so wrong?!
