This is a great country pub with a small but quality menu. Portion sizes good too. Small restaurant so getting a table in the corners where you can't see into the bar area is advised

The best cooked breakfast in town, and really delicious home made cakes and coffee with plenty of plantbased options. The choc brownies/ Tiffin are a must 😋Quirky surroundings, lovely staff and truly funky, varied background music.

Only popped in for a coffee and breakfast. Decided to be healthy and order something with fruit 🍓 so stacked pancakes it was! Blooming delicious 🤤 Had food envy seeing what others were eating and will be revisiting 🍳 to ensure the quality is of the same high standard😉

Great pizza!!! Don't bother with any other fast food pizza places. The food here beats them all. Delicious, authentic, freshly made pizza.

6 of us enjoyed a quiet Monday dinner recently. Service was lovely, but the food had mixed reviews. Strawberry sauce does not go with peanut butter parfait, for example.

Lovely hotel, a real labour of love to restore a beautiful building. Staff very helpful and welcoming, rooms spacious and well appointed.

Today I visited this pub for the first time. I knew that you can buy beer to go so I did. A nice chat with the barman about the alcohols that you can try there and the selection is not small made my short stay in this place more pleasant. I live around the corner so I will definitely visit this place again.

We had a good experience here. Some simple and delicious food from a simple menu with good service and in a nice small garden protected by a canopy while it showered around us. Good place.

Freshly made delicious food prepare with love and care. We had the most enjoyable late lunch here and everything was perfect. The mezze with haloumi was a colourful, nutritious and beautifully presented plate of healthy food and the poached eggs on toast were cooked to perfection. A celebratory glass of wine followed by the most wonderful cakes with aromatic coffee completed this excellent meal. The service was friendly, unobtrusive and welcoming. We will be back!
