Great customer service and delicious ice creams

This was our first visit to the Locomotive Inn and came to the pub as The Magnetic Jellyfish were playing there. I have got to say that this pub is really friendly and the staff were great, we will definately come back to this pub.

Misleading promotion. Promotion says buy two pizzas get the cheapest one for £2 on Mondays. Get there and they say it has to be the same pizza and can’t be one of their free from pizzas. Decent enough pizza but expensive

Old pub with atmosphere good service and excellent ale at sensible prices.

This is my favourite breakfast spot, hidden from the main road through the archway - we have been visiting for many years now and plan a stop off into our walks or ‘working from home’ Friday morning breakfast sandwich.

I visited this cafe today for a coffee and sausage bap, £9.35. I paid with a ten pound note and got no change. My coffee was delivered, followed later by my bap. I then questioned the price with waitress and said that I hadn't received my change. She came back saying 'Heaven forbid I forgot your 65 pence'. Not that this was a real issue, but whether she thought it was her way of a joke came over as being sarcastic. The coffee was average at best and the sausage bap, less so. Typical microwave food, so hot it was tasteless with no colour to look that it was cooked. Given the price, poor service, tasteless food and additional cost to park they won't get my custom again. I'd rather use the cafe opposite who know how to treat customers how they like to be treated!

**Paradiso: Where Italian Dreams Come True** From the moment we stepped into Paradiso, Maurice's warm welcome enveloped us in hospitality. The interior, reminiscent of a quaint Italian villa, instantly transported us to the streets of Italy where the scent of fresh lemons can be smelt by just looking at the lemon trees as a lovely decor. Our culinary journey began with a tantalizing array of pizzas: pepperoni, pollo e funghi, and margherita. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with a crispy crust that melted in our mouths. Personal choice was a bit less cheese as the pizzas were filled deep in cheese. The penne al salmone e panna delighted us with its smoked salmon in creamy sauce and chives, perfectly paired with al dente pasta. However, the pollo picante con crema, though flavorful, lacked the spicy punch we had hoped for. The chicken actually felt really flavourless opposite of what was described to be spicy chicken. As we savored each dish, the bill arrived, totaling £80.04. While on the higher end, the quality of the food and the overall experience was somehow worth it . Paradiso may be a splurge, but it's a culinary adventure that's sure to leave a lasting impression.

Absolutley love the decor, warm and welcoming staff. Coffee is good and snacks look lovely! Great table service!

Fabulous kebabs of varying types, and at an excellent price...£7.00 for mxd meat, chips, salad and sauce!!

Wonderful, welcoming, country pub

Honestly amazing! Food was 10/10. Chips were tasty and nostalgic, mozzerella sticks were stringy, but crispy and soft! The boy behind the counter was very helpful and nice when I asked him what was best on the menu. And the atmosphere inside is great, very clean and modern. definitely worth a visit

The owner was super nice and loving he was willing to do what it takes for the best experience for customers, all the good on the menus is freshly made and healthy and it’s so so so tasty delicious I recommend you to come here
