The best restaurants in West Midlands

Like the previous reviewer, I too have been charged for an online order that did not go through (since discovering the place has closed!). After waiting for 5 minutes, I realised the order was not going through. I never received a confirmation email either, so assumed that was that. However, I have been charged for the order. This happened last night and I now see the link to the website has been removed from Google. I ask that the owners (old or new) please contact me to arrange a refund.

Absolutely amazing Thai food! Really really tasty and authentic. Staff very friendly and the portion sizes are huge compared to a standard Thai restaurant. It is our favourite restaurant in Oswestry.

Honestly best pizza around, been a good few times and they never disappoint, sour dough makes all the difference, even good cold the next day. Eaten in and out both great results

Fantastic birthday lunch. Richard and Solanche greeted us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. They were also great with our 21 month old and Solanche especially who helped keep her entertained while we ate. We both did the tasting menu and the food was perfect. Richard and Sam came out and gave us very helpful explanations of each course. Overall it was the perfect birthday lunch and we will certainly be visiting again when we are in the area

A neat little find! The staff are welcoming and the music is great. This was hands down the best find in Newcastle. Great selection on Tap!

Food tasty - I enjoyed it but it arrived to me late so it was cold. The driver (Just Eat) did not follow instructions and couldn't find us. If you order from here collect it yourself. Do not depend on delivery, it spoils the food!

Fuimos a este restaurante como una familia de 4 personas. La camarera no era muy servicial en absoluto cuando ella estaba inicialmente tomando nuestro pedido. Pedimos dos arrabbiatas infantiles pero cuando llegaron a los niños no les gustaron los grandes trozos de tomates y cebollas y el sabor. Cuando le pedimos a la camarera que reemplazara las dos pastas por pizza se fue para comprobar si podía quitarlas de la cuenta. Ella regresó y dijo que estaba bien, sin embargo, ella todavía nos cobraría por la pasta, ya que declaró que una camarera había venido a nosotros dos veces y no habíamos mencionado nada sobre esto! Estábamos confundidos con lo que ella había dicho, por lo que insistió en hablar con un gerente. Le expliqué que los niños necesitaban tiempo para probarlo, pero no les gustó. Era obvio que el plato apenas había sido tocado. Mi hijo estaba recogiendo todos los tomates y cebollas del plato. Resultó que la misma camarera (su nombre era Summer) nos informó que ella era la gerente. Le explicamos que estábamos descontentos con su respuesta, ya que realmente no tenía ningún sentido. Luego nos preguntó si queríamos hablar con el propietario. El propietario salió y habló con nosotros. También fue el chef y explicó que los ingredientes de la salsa de pasta figuraban en el menú para tener cebollas y tomates. Sin embargo, amablemente los eliminó de la factura. También pedí la arrabbiata que era demasiado sabrosa ya que la mitad del plato estaba lleno de salsa. Estábamos emocionados de salir para una comida familiar y desafortunadamente esto puso un bajón en toda nuestra noche. No volveremos aquí de nuevo. Era demasiado caro y la camarera era grosera.

The food was absolutely fantastic and Millie was so attentive and super friendly…a credit to your company…we loved it and will absolutely be back…taste buds explosion. Great for our 10 year old who doesn’t really like spicy food also.

Good value, large portions (there was nothing small about the small cod and small chips), freshly cooked, hot, friendly service, lots of seating inside and out.

4th visit since coming under the new management, unlikely to return, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. This time just required chips. One other person in the shop, from ordering it took 18 minutes to get the chips. The chips were different (either different potatoes or different oil) and not great. It's such a shame as previously, and for many years it was the best chip shop for miles and we were regular visitors for the fish and chips, kebabs and nuggets, I also used to have their veggie burgers or fishcakes, and all of it was good. We used to have to queue up - the queue is noticeably absent compared to how it used to be too, but you still didn't have to wait that long for your food even at their busiest times. Sad to say that we are unlikely to visit for a 5th time. Sorry.
